Abstract

The anchor (1) comprises a base section (2) with two arms (3, 4) protruding from it, each of which includes at least one support surface (3a, 4a) for bracing against the inside of the borehole when the object to which the anchor is secured is placed inside the borehole. The arms can be moved resiliently apart in the sideways direction and can be resiliently pressed against the object in order to secure the anchor to the latter.
