Abstract

The invention relates to a device (1) for catalytic gas purification of at least two internal combustion engines (A, B, C, D) in a vessel or other vehicle, comprising: a first exhaust channel (2, 6) connected to a first combustion engine (A, C) and; a second exhaust channel (4, 8) connected to a second internal combustion engine (B, D), said second exhaust channel exhaust extending substantially parallel to the first exhaust channel (2, 6) within a duct (20) adapted thereto; a first catalyzer unit (12, 16) for purification of exhaust gases in the second exhaust channel (4, 8), and a second catalyzer unit (14, 18) for purification of exhaust gases in the first exhaust channel (2, 6). The invention is particularly characterized in: that said first catalyzer unit (12, 16) and said second catalyzer unit (14, 18) are arranged in line with each other within said duct (20), whereby the first catalyzer unit (12, 16) is provided with an integrated by pass section (34) for the first exhaust channel (2, 6), and the second catalyzer unit (14, 18) is provided with an integrated by pass section (34) for the second exhaust channel (4, 8).
