Abstract
The method involves identifying a given object in an image, and defining a subarea (21) based on the location of the given object in the image, so that a sensor unit (1) is calibrated by localization of the subarea in the image. Dimensions of an object search area are obtained, the object search area being a limited part of a monitored area (20). Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a computer program is stored on a computer-readable memory medium with instructions for causing a computer to carry out the method of calibrating a sensor unit in image processing (b) a sensor arrangement for capturing images of a monitored area.
