Abstract

The method is for fitting a load accommodating fixture for a roof equipment component (11) on an outer roof which is lined with an external sealing layer mat (4). The fixture is fitted with the fixture component for the roof equipment component extending from the sealing layer mat. The fixture component evolves from at least one plate-shaped fastening part (5) which locates on the sealing layer. A flexible mat (10) is fixed to the sealing layer mat in an area surrounding the fastening part.
