SUBSTANCE: aim of invention is to work out design of surgical scalpel ensuring full sterility; scalpel has handle and removable blade holder made in form of body with cutting element attached to it; moreover body has mutually intersecting longitudinal groove and through hole oriented in transverse direction, with shoulders being formed within intersection area; handle of scalpel is provided with wedge-shaped clamp ensuring possibility of interaction with shoulders of blade holder body. EFFECT: improved sterility due to using disposable cutting element.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to medicine, namely to cutting surgical instruments, for example scalpels. The purpose of the invention is the creation of a surgical scalpel design, which provides complete sterility due to the guaranteed single use of a removable cutting element. The surgical scalpel contains a handle and a removable blade holder made in the form of a body with a cutting element installed in it, moreover, the longitudinal channel and the transverse through hole are made in the body to form at the intersection of the shoulders, and the scalpel handle is equipped with a wedge-shaped retainer, made to interact with shoulders of the blade holder body.
