Abstract

FIELD: plastic metal working, namely methods of extruding built-up-thickness ingots for making tubes with clad tubes. SUBSTANCE: method of extruding ingots, mainly ingots having longitudinal laminarity due to using two billets arranged one to another with outer billet made of higher strength material than inner billet, comprises steps of heating ingot, placing it onto needle for subsequent extrusion through cone die by arranging it in container and applying axial compression afford to end of said ingot. Novelty is formation of ingot from two different-size billets with cavity in one end of ingot. When ingot is placed onto needle said cavity is arranged at side of extrusion die. Extrusion process is performed at variable deformation rate. Initially axial compression effort is applied only to billet made of higher strength material for subsequent by welding deformed materials and extruding tube from said higher strength material. Then combined deformation of billets is realized with rate exceeding initial one. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, high quality of clad tubes. 1 cl, 7 dwg

Изобретение относится к обработке металлов давлением, а именно к способам прессования составных по толщине слитков с целью получения труб с плакированной поверхностью. Способ прессования слитков, преимущественно с продольной слоистостью, содержащих две размещенные одна в другой заготовки, внешняя из которых выполнена, например, из более прочного материала, при котором слиток нагревают, устанавливают на игле с последующим прессованием через коническую матрицу путем его размещения в контейнере и приложения осевого сжимающего усилия к торцу слитка. Новым в способе является то, что слиток формируют из разновеликих заготовок с образованием полости на одном из его торцов, при установке слитка на игле полость располагают со стороны матрицы, а процесс прессования осуществляют с переменной скоростью деформирования, первоначально прикладывая осевое сжимающее усилие только к заготовке из более прочного материала, с обеспечением сварки обрабатываемых материалов и прессования трубы из более прочного материала, после чего осуществляют совместное деформирование заготовок со скоростью, прерывающей первоначальную.The invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure, and in particular to methods of pressing composite ingots with a thickness in order to obtain tubes with a clad surface.
