Воздухоочиститель содержит корпус 2, крышку 4, входное 3 и выходное 5 отверстия для прохода воздуха, фильтрующий элемент 6, расположенный между ними и образующий соответственно зоны неочищенного и очищенного воздуха, абсорбирующий элемент 12, расположенный в зоне очищенного воздуха и помещенный в кожух с отверстиями. Новым является то, что кожух снабжен трубопроводом 26, который способен сокращаться в осевом направлении, причем один конец трубопровода 26 закрывает часть отверстий 14 в кожухе, а другой его конец поочередно соединяется или с выходным отверстием 5, или с воздушным пространством зоны очищенного воздуха. Преимущественно устройство предназначено для автомобильных двигателей. .
