FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: ratchet mechanism consists of ratchet wheel, lever, and shaped spring fixed to the lever. When the lever is rotated, pushing side of the spring abutting against one of the teeth of the ratchet wheel is deformed with increasing a distance from the end of the pushing side to the axis of rotation of the lever. As a result the ratchet wheel moves. In moving the ratchet wheel the locking side does not resist. EFFECT: improved design.
Claims (1)
The mechanism consists of a ratchet wheel, a lever and a shaped spring fixedly mounted on the lever. When the lever is turned, the pushing side of the spring, abutting against one of the teeth of the ratchet wheel, is deformed with increasing distance from the end of the pushing side to the axis of rotation of the lever, thereby moving the ratchet wheel. The locking side does not resist during this movement of the ratchet wheel. The mechanism can be used in devices with little effort.
