Abstract

FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: perfected color picture tube 8 uses vacuum glass envelope 10 having end panel 12 with cathode-luminescent screen 22 with phosphor sections of various color settled on it. The panel includes the assembly of shadow mask - frame 30 mounted on it with the aid of fasteners located on the periphery inside the panel. Shadow mask 24 includes aperture section 25 whose apertures are matched with the screen phosphor sections. Each fastener has a pin attached to the glass envelope, spring having a hole for coupling to the pin, and a plate welded between the spring and mask- frame assembly. Perfection consists in mechanical coupling of the spring and plate by means of bosses fastening these parts together in two different points along one edge of these parts. Due to it, the spring and plate at least partially contact with each other along the external surfaces. The fastening bosses impart resistance to movement to the spring and plate, which causes an impact thus decreasing the mismatching between the apertures in the mask and screen phosphor section. EFFECT: perfected design.

Claims (1)
