FIELD: catalytic partial oxidation of hydrocarbons. SUBSTANCE: method for catalytic partial oxidation of hydrocarbons consists in contacting of mixture of methane-containing raw material and oxygen-containing gas. In this case, oxygen-to-carbon content ratio is within 0.3-0.8 at the temperature above 900 C and high pressure with catalyst containing metal of group YIII of the Periodic table of elements, carried on refractory oxide having, at least, two cations. EFFECT: higher efficiency.

Claims (1)
