Abstract
FIELD: specialized devices for optical signal processing. SUBSTANCE: device has optical amplifier, coherent light source, input optical splitter, optical encoder, input of optical amplifier serves as device input, its output is connected through optical splitter to input of first two-state optical gate from group of N optical two-state gates, which are connected in series. Inputs of said group are connected to output of coherent light source through optical input splitter. Inverse output of each optical two-state gate is connected to input of subsequent element input group by means of optical splitter. Direct outputs of two-state optical gates are connected to corresponding inputs of optical encoder which serve as inputs of group of optical splitters, which outputs generate possible binary combinations at outputs of optical encoder and serve as device outputs. Device may be used in design of optical communication systems and optical information processing devices. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities.
