Abstract
FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: piston machine has cylinders, pistons, and crankshafts mounted inside the housing. The shafts are provided with gear wheels. The number of cylinders, pistons, crankshafts, gear wheels is a multiple of 2. Each piston is provided with a rod coupled with cranks of the crankshafts through a pair of connecting rods. One of the connecting rods is coupled with the first crankshaft. The other connecting rod is coupled with the second crankshaft. The gear wheels of the crankshafts are in engagement. The machine mechanism (pistons, rods, connecting rods, crankshafts, and gear wheels being assembled) is symmetrical with respect to the plane perpendicular to the plane, wherein the axes of the engaged gear wheels are arranged, and passing through the point of contact of the dividing circumferences of the wheels. The total displacement of all pistons in any time interval is zero. EFFECT: improved design.
