Изобретение относится к металлургии, к непрерывной разливке металлов. Технический эффект при использовании изобретения заключается в повышении стабильности и эффективности поточного вакуумирования металла в процессе непрерывной разливки. Указанный технический эффект достигается тем, что подают жидкий металл из разливочного ковша в вакуум-камеру, создают в ней разрежение до необходимого по технологии остаточного давления, подают металл в промежуточный ковш под уровень через патрубок и далее в кристаллизаторы через удлиненные разливочные стаканы под уровень, вытягивают слитки из кристаллизаторов, а также меняют вышедшие из строя удлиненные разливочные стаканы в условиях подъема промежуточного ковша. При смене удлиненных разливочных стаканов одновременно поднимают промежуточный ковш и снижают уровень металла в нем на одну и ту же высоту, при этом оставляют неизменной глубину погружения патрубка под уровень металла. Изобретение предназначено для применения на установках непрерывной разливки металлов, оборудованных устройствами для поточного вакуумирования.The invention relates to metallurgy, to the continuous casting of metals.
