Изобретение относится к средствам для индексирования единиц информации среди размещенных в обложке сборшюрованных бумажных носителей информации и может быть использовано в делопроизводстве предприятий, учреждений, банков, в архивном и библиотечном деле для систематизации и быстрого поиска нужной информации. Цель изобретения - повышение скорости поиска требуемых единиц информации. Средство для индексирования включает в себя разделительные индикаторы, каждый из которых прикрепляется клеевым слоем на край листа носителя информации таким образом, что он при наличии на данном листе регистрируемой единицы информации указывает на нее своим местоположением напротив клетки с той же самой единицей, которую пользователь первоначально зарегистрировал как подлежащую учету при работе с носителями информации денного типа.
