In large pig-breeding complexes where manure removal is provided by hydraulic washing, a two-stage biological treatment in aerotanks is a classic option for treating the resulting effluent. Long-term operation of complexes with such technology has shown that at all stages of the treatment of slurry, starting with aeration tanks of the first stage, solid deposits of mineral origin are formed, which complicate the maintenance of structures and increase the cost of wastewater treatment. The proposed method allows to exclude the processes of formation of solid deposits in pipes, fittings, equipment, reduce capital and operating costs, simplify the maintenance of treatment facilities. The formation of solid deposits is eliminated by alkalization of the wastewater necessary for the precipitation of phosphates. Alkalization is carried out by cultured microorganisms, and the neutralization of effluents is carried out at the stage of ammonia blowing.
