Магнитный сепаратор относится к аппаратам для разделения материалов по магнитным свойствам и может быть использован при мокром магнитном обогащении железных руд. Цель изобретения - повышение надежности, эффективности и производительности процесса сепарации за счет повышения скорости протекания процесса. Магнитный сепаратор содержит установленный с возможностью вращения в ванне немагнитный барабан с магнитной системой внутри, установленной с возможностью ее поворота вокруг оси барабана, и лоток для промпродукта. На наружной стороне немагнитного барабана укреплены металлические штыри из ферромагнитного материала с малой коэрцитивной силой, расположенные в шахматном порядке, причем расстояние между ними равно 3-м их диаметрам. Применение штырей из ферромагнитного материала позволит повысить производительность и эффективность сепаратора за счет повышения скорости протекания процесса путем концентрации магнитного поля при увеличении скорости вращения барабана и повышении нагрузки на сепаратор, что ведет к более полному извлечению магнитных составляющих концентрата.Magnetic separator refers to devices for separating materials according to magnetic properties and can be used for wet magnetic concentration of iron ores.
