Предлагаемый способ предназначен для автоматизированного измерения координат точек внешней среды и построения ее трехмерной модели с использованием стереотелевизионной системы технического зрения. Изобретение относится к области робототехники и измерения объектов на расстоянии. В частности при управлении транспортными и манипуляционными роботами в экстремальных условиях, в геологии при дистанционном зондировании полости в вырабатываемой породе и др. Способ реализуется в человеко-машинном измерительном комплексе, основу которого составляет система технического зрения, включающая телевизионный стереоблок, сопряженный с персональной электронно-вычислительной машиной (ПЭВМ) с дисплеем и пульт управления перемещением курсора. Оператор указывает с помощью курсора интересующую точку наблюдаемой сцены на экране дисплея ПЭВМ, а ее три пространственные координаты вычисляются автоматически с использованием программы на ПЭВМ и визуализируются на экране дисплея для оператора. Благодаря возможности выбора измеряемых точек повышается надежность их отождествления. Объединение измеренных точек в модель внешней среды происходит на основе их принадлежности к наблюдаемому объекту (выявляемой оператором), что повышает достоверность модели.The proposed method is intended for automated measurement of the coordinates of points of the external environment and construction of its three-dimensional model using a stereo-television vision system. The operator indicates with the help of the cursor the point of interest of the observed scene on the PC display screen, and its three spatial coordinates are calculated automatically using the program on the PC and visualized on the display screen for the operator. Thanks to the possibility of choosing measured points, the reliability of their identification increases. The integration of the measured points in the model of the environment is based on their belonging to the observed object (detected by the operator), which increases the reliability of the model.
