Технический результат изобретения заключается в повышении качества поверхности отливаемых заготовок за счет устранения грубых продольных и поперечных трещин и уменьшения содержания марганца и кремния в стали при сохранении требуемых физико-механических свойств стали. Сущность изобретения состоит в том, что способ непрерывного литья прямоугольных заготовок из конструкционной стали включает подачу металла в кристаллизатор из промежуточного ковша, охлаждение и вытягивание заготовки, при этом металл в кристаллизатор подают с температурой на 5 - 30oС выше температуры ликвидуса при определенной скорости вытягивания.The invention relates to the field of metallurgy, and more particularly to continuous casting of metals and alloys.
