Claims (1)

The strain relates to biotechnology, in particular to the preparation of the enzyme preparation superoxide dismutase. The purpose of the invention is to find a producer of superoxide dismutase, which would be suitable for industrial use. The proposed strain of the yeast Kluyveromyces marxianus var. bulgaricus T 3 is able to grow on the waste of the dairy industry, enriched with a source of nicotinic acid. The superoxide dismutase formed during the cultivation of the strain has moderately thermophilic properties. The strain biosynthesizes catalase and beta-galactosidase simultaneously.
