The utility model relates to the field of air protection and can be used to clean ventilation emissions from dust and gaseous pollutants generated in engineering, chemical, construction and other industries.
Known dust collection devices in vortex-type apparatuses with a layer of granules (B. Bretschneider, I. Kurfürst “Protection of the air basin from pollution”, trans. From English. 1989. 288 pp. Pp. 141-142 fig. 6.31). Such devices require preliminary cleaning of large particles and the need to install a mixing device driven by an electric motor, which requires additional energy consumption.

Wet dust collector is a cylindrical housing 1 having a tangentially located pipe in the upper part
16.purge gas supply 14. Inside the housing 1, the central flushing fluid supply pipe 2 is coaxially located, in which there are several rows of tangential slots C. The central pipe 2 is rotatable around the axis, which is provided by the rotation units 9. A hopper is installed in the upper part of the housing 1 Backfill of sorption material 7, having a cover 11 and a branch pipe for cleaning the purified gas 5. Cover 11 has a hatch 8 for filling the sorbent 12. Inside the central pipeline 2 there is a coaxial pipe 3 connected to the central pipe 2 and rotating with it. The pipe 3 passes through the hopper for filling the sorption material 7 and is attached to the cover 11 through the rotation unit 9. The pipe 3 in the zone of filling the granules of the sorbent 12 has blades 13, and above the filling layer there are windows 10 for gas to enter the cavity of the hopper for filling the sorption material. In front of the outlet pipe of the cleaned gas 5 there is a non-sieve mesh 6 to prevent ingress of granules of the sorbent 12 into the nozzle 5. In the lower part of the housing 1 there is a bottom bottom of the dust collector 15, made conical and which has a drain fitting 16.
16.The device operates as follows. The contaminated gas enters through the nozzle 14 into the dust collector housing 1 and, due to the tangential inlet, acquires a circular rotation and moves to the lower part of the housing 1. At the same time, liquid begins to flow through the nozzle 4 into the central pipeline of the washing liquid 2. This liquid begins to flow out of all rows of tangential slots C . Due to the reactive force of the flowing jets, the central pipe 2, and with it the coaxial pipe 3, begin to rotate in the nodes of the suspension 9 (Figure 2). Due to rotation inside the housing 1, several rotating liquid curtains are formed through which the contaminated gas passes. Dust particles contained in the gas bind to liquid droplets, and due to the action of centrifugal forces are discarded to the wall of the housing 1 and, flowing down, are removed through the drain fitting 16.
6.The air purified from solid particles enters the coaxial pipe 3 and through the windows 10 it enters the sorbent hopper 7 and passes through the backfill layer from the sorbent 12 granules, where it is cleaned of gaseous pollutants. The blades 13, rotating due to the rotation of the coaxial pipe 3, mix the filling of the sorbent, intensify the sorption process (Figure 3). The cleaned air passes through the grid 6 and is removed through the nozzle 5. Removal of the used sorbent is carried out through the nozzle of the cleaned gas 5 in the absence of non-failing mesh 6, and filling fresh sorbent 12 is carried out through the hatch 8 in the presence of mesh 6.
Thus, the proposed device allows you to qualitatively clean the polluted air from dust pollutants due to the action of centrifugal forces and wet dust during passage through a series of liquid curtains; at the same time, in the proposed apparatus, gaseous pollutants are captured when air passes through the sorbent backfill layer. The range of use of the dust collector is greatly expanded and energy consumption is significantly reduced.
