Description
The utility model relates to the field of material handling equipment and is intended for use on escalator steps.
Known the crest of the escalator step, consisting of a steel plate with an aluminum comb part ("Inventions of the world", 1996, No. 12, p. 1, B 66 V 23/08). The disadvantages of this comb are: the complexity of manufacturing, low resistance to abrasion, electrochemical corrosion.
Closest to the proposed utility model is the escalator stage comb made of aluminum alloy (I. Pominov “Metro Escalators”, M. “Transport”, 1993). A disadvantage of the known ridge are: low resistance to corrosion, abrasion, chipped rails, the complexity of dismantling, as well as the rapid abrasion of a warning color coating, which is applied manually.
The objectives of this utility model are: the elimination of corrosion, chipping rails, increasing wear resistance, reducing the complexity of dismantling, saving non-ferrous metal, preserving the color of the ridge during operation.
The tasks are achieved in that instead of an aluminum alloy, in the manufacture of the comb, a polyamide-based polymer composition with inorganic and organic fillers is used.
1-3.The proposed ridge is a narrow plate and is illustrated by the drawing provided in figures 1-3.
Figure 1 shows a view of the ridge from the bottom. Mounting holes (1) are reinforced by tides (2) on two sides made in the form of petals. In the center of the base (3) is a protrusion (4), for rigidity of fixation of the ridge.
(1).Figure 2 shows a front view of the ridge, with tears in the attachment points (1).
Figure 3 shows a top view. The working surface of the ridge has a number of rails (1) parallel to each other and directed along the movement of the escalator canvas.
The stage comb operates as follows. Escalators effectively transport a large number of passengers from one point to another, work on the rise and on the descent. Passengers stand on the horizontal surface of the step (flooring) and are transported at a constant speed. The comb is part of the staircase flooring
От контакта с обувью пассажиров краска быстро стирается, оставляя мало эстетичные пятна.escalator canvases, perceiving the load from standing and walking passengers. This part of the flooring wears out and breaks most intensively, therefore it is made in the form of separate removable parts. With unilateral operation of the escalator, especially on the descent, the left side of the ridges wears out faster. Passengers on their shoes carry a lot of sand, moisture, salts, which are used to melt snow, onto the escalator. All this contributes to increased wear and corrosion of the ridges. The crest wears out from contact with the shoes of passengers, the presence of sand accelerates wear and characterizes it as abrasive. Chips of crest rails occur, as a rule, due to passenger hand trucks and are caused by the fragility of the material. As a result of corrosion, deformation and destruction of the ridge occur, its replacement becomes problematic and time-consuming. Passengers stand on the steps of the moving belt of the escalator from a fixed surface with zero speed, then to get off the moving sheet onto a fixed surface with a constant speed exceeding zero. As a result, there is a possibility that the passenger will lose equilibrium. To solve this safety problem, as well as to fix the attention of passengers to the edge of the step, the ridges should be of a warning color. From contact with passenger shoes, paint quickly erases, leaving little aesthetic stains.
The proposed comb, from a polymer composition based on polyamide, is made by injection molding, in an automatic mode. The comb is painted in a warning color in the melt, completely, during casting, which replaces the manual operation for painting the comb.
The use of polyamide increases the wear resistance of the comb by 1.2-1.5 times. Inorganic filler gives the necessary strength and rigidity. Organic filler eliminates brittleness and chips. The ridge material is chemically resistant and corrosion free. The complexity of dismantling the ridge is reduced by 15 times. The color of the ridge during operation does not wear out, captures the attention of passengers to the edge of the step, which allows you to safely enter and exit the escalator. The proposed comb is 2 times lighter than aluminum alloy, thereby reducing the weight of the staircase. Replacing an aluminum alloy with a polymer composition saves non-ferrous metal.
The application of the proposed utility model increases the life of escalators, improves traffic safety, saves natural resources. The inventive design of the ridge of polyamide, with inorganic and organic fillers, has withstood operational tests and is installed on escalators of the Moscow Metro.
