Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to animal husbandry, namely to feed additives that increase the productivity of cows, and can be used in dairy farming when introduced into the diet of dairy cows.
Dairy farming, as one of the rapidly developing branches of livestock farming, often adapts elements of technology that have been formed and effectively worked out over the years to the realities of our time. It is impossible to agree that the organization of scientifically based feeding of animals from a physiological point of view can be implemented without the use of special metabolic regulators for animals. Of course, such succulent feeds as silage, haylage, roughage such as hay, as well as concentrated feeds (mixed feeds and balancing feed additives) are the main source of replenishing the needs of animals for nutrients and biologically active substances. At the same time, it is obvious that it is necessary to both satisfy the animal’s nutritional needs and optimize the ratio of these substances in the diet, excluding various toxic and anti-nutrient substances from it.
Solving issues related to the development of effective and easy-to-use methods for regulating metabolism creates the preconditions for the successful realization by animals of the genetic potential of productivity, partly complementing the activity of endogenous enzymes of the digestive tract of animals (for example, enzymes such as protease, α-amylase, lipase, etc.) or by breaking down substrates for which there are no enzymes in the digestive tract for hydrolysis (or are present in limited quantities).
The trend towards obtaining safe food products contributes to an increase in the use of, for example, probiotic preparations in animal feeding, which act based on the characteristics of the microbiota of the proventriculus and intestines and the structural features of the digestive tract as a whole. It should also be noted that non-traditional sources of minerals (sapropel, zeolites, bentonites, activated carbons, etc.) began to be used more often as balancing feed additives.
Taking into account the above, it seems important to choose the optimal method for the combined use of natural minerals and preparations in combination with probiotics, select effective doses of their feeding, analyze the dynamics of animal productivity, as well as the quality of the resulting livestock products.
Н. - 2017. - №4. - С. 9-11 (7)].To increase milk productivity, it is known to use the enzyme additive “Glukoferm+P” in the feeding rations of cows [The influence of salted concentrated feed using the drug “Glukoferm+P” on the milk productivity of cows / Izhboldina S., Novikova L., Naumova A. // Dairy and beef cattle breeding. - 2011. - No. 8. - P. 28-29 (6)] and the enzyme additive “Natugrain TS” [Use of enzyme preparations in cattle diets / Betin A.N. // Effective livestock farming. - 2017. - No. 4. - P. 9-11 (7)].
It is known about the use of L-carnitine in the composition of animal feeding rations with the feed additive “Promelakt” [Exterior assessment of first-calf cows of the black-and-white breed when consuming the energy drink “Promelakt” // Food. 2. 2. A method of increasing the milk productivity of cows, characterized by the fact that in addition to the main diet, cows are fed the feed additive according to claim 1 15 days before calving, as well as in the first month after calving, 150 grams per head per day.
1.The studies were conducted on highly productive cows of the black-and-white Holstein breed at the FSUE “Kirovskaya LOS”. 3 groups of animals of 5 animals each were formed. Coniferous energy supplement (CED), as well as the supplement being developed, in addition to the main diet, was fed 15 days before calving, as well as in the first month after calving, 150 grams per head per day. At the end of this period, the milk productivity of cows, as well as biochemical blood parameters, were monitored. The research scheme is presented in Table. 1.
2).The experimental and control groups included animals with the following productivity indicators from the previous lactation (Table 2).
Feeding of feed additives to the cows of the experimental groups was carried out in the morning hours individually to each animal immediately after distribution of the main feed mixture.
The cows quite willingly ate feed additives in addition to the main diet, eating them without a trace. There were no allergic or other negative reactions among the cows of the experimental groups.
All cows participating in the experiment calved successfully, and the resulting calves are alive and healthy. Lactation of cows began without complications; lactation failure was not detected in cows of the control and experimental groups.
3).At the end of feeding the supplements, blood was taken from the cows and examined for basic biochemical parameters (Table 3).
It was found that in cows of the 1st and 2nd experimental groups there was a decrease in urea levels compared to the control by 0.66 and 1.17 mmol/l, respectively, which indirectly indicates a decrease in the level of stress in animals of these groups.
The level of total protein in the blood of the cows of the experimental groups was within the normal range, while in the cows of the control group it was increased, which may indicate a loss of fluid in the cows of the control group, for example, due to diarrhea, poor absorption of diet components, or inflammatory processes.
The use of feed additives also contributed to the fact that the level of AST in the blood of animals of the 1st experimental group (ED) was increased to a lesser extent compared to the control, which indicates a decrease in the load on the liver of cows in this group.
The level of total cholesterol in the blood was also lower in cows of the experimental groups compared to the control by 10.5-18.8%, which may indirectly indicate a better supply of nutrients to the cows of the experimental group and less mobilization of fat from the depot of the animal’s body to meet energy needs .
4).At the end of the first month of lactation, the milk productivity of cows, as well as the quality of milk, was monitored (Table 4).
It was found that the average daily milk yield of cows of the 1st and 2nd experimental groups is higher in comparison with the control by 6.7-13.1% with the highest value of this indicator in the cows of the 1st experimental group receiving CED. At the same time, MJ% is higher in cows of the 2nd experimental group compared to the control by 0.44%. In general, the amount of milk fat (in kg) in experimental groups 1 and 2 is at the same level, which exceeds the control for this indicator by 17.6-18.3%). The mass fraction of protein, the level of lactose and dry matter in the milk of cows of the experimental and control groups are at the same level.
Monitoring of milk productivity of cows in the experimental and control groups in subsequent months of lactation will continue.
5)Based on the data obtained, the economic efficiency of using feed additives in dairy farming was calculated (Table 5)
The use of the developed feed additive in addition to the main diet helps to normalize metabolism in the body of lactating cows, increases the supply of cows with essential nutrients at the beginning of lactation, reduces the level of stress, which in turn allows increasing the milk productivity of cows by 6.7-13.1%, obtain milk of better quality, and also achieve an increase in the amount of milk fat in kg by 17.6-18.3%. The studied feed additives pay for themselves already in the first month of lactation and allow for additional profit in the amount of 8581.28 rubles. from milk delivery per cow for the first 30 days of lactation.
