The disadvantage of the closest technical solution is the relatively low efficiency of creating an antistatic effect when used to obtain the final product, for example, a self-leveling floor.
The problem that is solved in the invention is aimed at developing a composite material in the form of providing the final product, for example, a self-leveling floor, with an increased antistatic effect.
The required technical result is to reduce the electrical surface resistance and, on this basis, increase the antistatic properties of the final product when used as a nanomodifier for self-leveling floors while simultaneously ensuring the required mechanical properties.
%.:The problem is solved, and the required technical result is achieved by the fact that the nanomodifier for epoxy self-leveling floor, including single-walled carbon nanotubes, according to the invention, contains a composition of the following components at their mass ratio. %.:
In addition, the required technical result is achieved by using the nanomodifier in the form of a 0.25% additive to epoxy resin for self-leveling floors.
Кроме того, требуемый технический результат достигается тем, что наномодификатор используют для добавки в эпоксидную смолу ЭД-16.In addition, the required technical result is achieved by using the nanomodifier as an additive to ED-16 epoxy resin.
The drawing shows a graph of the dependence of the electrical resistivity of an epoxy self-leveling floor, Ohm*m, on the wt. % nanomodifier in epoxy resin when producing a self-leveling floor.
A nanomodifier for an epoxy self-leveling floor with an antistatic effect (hereinafter referred to as the “nanomodifier”) is obtained and used as follows.
The selection of a nanomodifier formulation is limited by the following parameters: the efficiency of wetting of carbon particles (SWNT), the stability and effectiveness of the wetting agent (dispersant) in the environment of epoxy resins, the undesirability of thickening of the final mixture under the influence of the dispersant, the carrier medium should not migrate from the cured composition, the nanomodifier should not create a stable foam, it is desirable to optimally introduce the masterbatch into the curing composition with minimal complication of the technical process.
According to the criteria, the dispersant was chosen - a high molecular weight copolymer with affinity groups - BYK-9077, because its structure allows carbon to be dispersed in epoxy media with and without the use of solvents without increasing the viscosity of the mixture due to the dispersant itself. The amount of BYK-9077 is included in the recipe according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Additionally, the possibility of using a dispersant to achieve the most uniform distribution of SWCNTs in the composition was tested to reduce the percentage of SWCNTs and, as a consequence, reduce the cost of the final composition. Defoamer BYK-054 is used due to system compatibility. Plasticizers, namely phthalates, are suitable as carrier media with approximately equal efficiency. Chlorinated hydrocarbons are undesirable because they are likely to migrate from the cured system, so dibutyl phthalate (DBP) was used. Experience in the use of nanocarbon additives shows that before introducing the additive, the nanocarbon modifier should be mixed in a small amount of resin or self-leveling floor produced at the enterprise. This allows you to more effectively introduce the additive into the self-leveling floor. Accordingly, it makes sense to include in the masterbatch the main component of the self-leveling floor (a mechanical mixture of epoxy resin, fillers and functional additives without a hardener), for example, the mechanical mixture of epoxy resin, fillers and functional additives without a hardener available on the market - the “LEVL Coat 303” component. This main component of the self-leveling floor allows the mixer blades to more easily capture the mixture, the density of which, without this modification, is too low for quality mixing.
When mixing the above components of the composition according to the recipe by mass parts, we obtain a thixotropic paste of a monochromatic black color - an additive to the self-leveling floor, which gives the self-leveling floor antistatic properties.
The method for producing the nanomodifier is that the components are mixed on a horizontal Z-shaped mixing device at a shaft rotation speed of 30 to 60 rpm for 20 to 25 minutes. With a shorter mixing time, liquid fractions are visually determined, with a longer time, the paste rises in shafts from the optimal mixing zone to the top. In this case, complete absorption of liquid fractions by nanocarbon and high-quality uniform mixing are observed.
The optimal formulation ratio was identified by the dispersibility of SWCNTs in the masterbatch and masterbatch in the self-leveling floor, respectively. Otherwise, the quantities of ingredients are dictated by economic feasibility and manufacturer’s recommendations. Visually, the quality of dispersion of nanocarbon particles can be determined by the uniform gray color of the surface of self-leveling floor samples, without inclusions or visible agglomerates.
Based on the results obtained, it is obvious that the concentration of the nanomodifier in the form of a 0.25% additive in epoxy resin for self-leveling flooring is optimal.
Thus, thanks to the proposed formulation, a decrease in electrical surface resistance is ensured and, on this basis, an increase in the antistatic properties of the final product when used as a nanomodifier for self-leveling floors while simultaneously ensuring the required mechanical properties, which achieves the required technical result.
