Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of production of building materials and can be used to obtain a composite material from municipal solid waste.
There is a known method for processing secondary household waste, including their grinding and heat treatment (RU 2723312, 06/09/2020). Its disadvantage is that it requires preliminary careful separation of household waste into fractions.
There is a known method for producing composite material from municipal solid waste, including grinding and mixing with plastic, heat treatment of the resulting mass and molding under pressure (WO 2005/123840, 12/29/2005. The disadvantage of this method is that it cannot be used for processing wet solid household waste, since it does not provide for the removal of moisture from the processed mass.
(RU 2572320, 10.01.2016).The closest in its technical essence is the method of producing a composite material from municipal solid waste, which consists in the fact that organic waste and plastic are crushed, mixed, to obtain a homogeneous mass, then the resulting mass is subjected to heat treatment and exposure to increasing pressure and passing through a molder ( RU 2572320, 01/10/2016).
The disadvantage of this method is that it is inherently complex, since it involves several technological stages, and the resulting composite material has a low density, which forces the scope of its application to be limited.
The problem solved by the present invention is to simplify the method and improve the technical characteristics of the produced composite product from municipal solid waste.
The technical essence is that for drying, material with lower initial moisture content and larger coarseness when crushed is used, i.e. easily permeable by air flows, and drying of the material occurs not only at the initial stage of its preparation, but also at the stage of completion of the composite.
The present problem is solved by the fact that in the method of producing a composite material from municipal solid waste, which consists in the fact that organic waste and plastic are crushed, mixed to obtain a homogeneous mass, then the resulting mass is subjected to heat treatment, exposure to increasing pressure and passing through a molder, characterized in that that before grinding the waste is dried to a moisture content of 35%, and subjected to grinding to a particle size of 1-30 mm, and the number of crushed particles from 20 to 30 mm should not exceed 20-25% of their total mass, heat treatment and exposure to high pressure up to 2000 kg/cm 2 are carried out simultaneously, while the pressure increase is carried out in a pulsating mode, provided by a screw-piston press, which carries out up to four horizontal pulses of the screw per revolution, and heat treatment is carried out at a temperature of 160-200 ° C with limited access to air oxygen , the temperature on the surface of the molder is maintained within 300-320°C due to its additional heating.
In fig. Figure 1 shows a possible technological scheme for the production of composite material from municipal solid waste.
The method can be carried out on well-known equipment placed in a line, including: 1 – grab loader, 2 – solid waste receiving hopper, 3 – dispenser, 4 – conveyor, 5 – screw conveyor, 6 – storage hopper, 7 – shredder grinding installation and dryer, 8 – belt conveyor, 9 – screw-piston press, 10 – belt conveyor, 11 – finished product storage, with cooling function, 12 – belt conveyor, 13 – packaging, finished product warehouse.
The method is carried out as follows. At the first stage, inorganic fractions (non-ferrous and ferrous metals, glass, ceramics, stones) are selected from municipal solid waste (MSW). The remaining organic part of MSW is a mixture of plastic waste, waste paper (cardboard and paper), food and plant waste, including wood. To determine the ratio in the mass of polymers and the remaining part of the organic matter, an approximate weighing is carried out.
Using a grab loader 1, the top layer of solid household waste lying on the surface of the soil, dried to a moisture content of 35%, containing at least 20-80% plastic, is removed and loaded into the receiving hopper 2, from which they are dispensed by a dispenser 3 onto the conveyor 4, moving along it, are additionally dried and fed into the storage hopper 6 and the chopper 7 in the form of a shredder unit with a dryer using a screw conveyor 5. The shredder crushes solid household waste to a size of 1-30 mm. Moreover, the amount of crushed particles ranging in size from 20 to 30 mm should not exceed 20-25%, otherwise, with a higher percentage, it will be difficult to compress them to the required density (1.2-1.35 g/cm 3 ). With a high percentage of particle size of 1-5 mm, the mass becomes highly compacted and is difficult for the drying process that follows this operation. The crushed and dried mass of solid household waste is supplied to a belt conveyor 8, and from it to a screw-piston press 9 of a known design (RU 87386, 10.10.2009). Where, passing through a screw-piston press, the mass is heated to a temperature of 160-200°C due to friction forces and increasing pulsating pressure arising due to the complex rotational - reciprocating movement of the screw (RU 2752044, 07.22.2021). A further increase in temperature is prevented by the consistency of the mass, which is prone to sticking to the working body of the screw-piston press, and a decrease in temperature is prevented by the friction forces that arise. The mass advanced and compressed by the screw-piston working body then passes through the molder of the screw-piston press, equipped with electric heaters and heated to a temperature of 300-320 ° C, the mass finally melts, becomes viscous in consistency, compacts and comes out of it in the form of an ingot of composite material of high density. The moisture present in the mass of crushed solid waste before passing through the screw-piston press evaporates and is removed from the pressing chamber through a diverter valve and pulses, creating a vacuum in it. Pressing on a solid waste screw-piston press allows not only to carry out up to four horizontal pulses of the screw per revolution, but also to constantly increase the pressure and bring it up to 2000 kg/cm 2 . Under such conditions, in the pressed material, due to the decreasing pitch of the press winding and imparting reciprocating movements to the pressed screw, the process of converting solid waste into a composite material is intensified. The composite mass coming out of the screw-piston press is supplied to the belt conveyor 10, having a density of 1.2-1.35 g/cm 3 , and from it to the finished product storage 11 with a cooling function, then to the distributor, belt conveyor and packaging . This makes it possible to speed up the removal of moisture from solid waste and make the recycling process profitable.
