Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, veterinary medicine, and in particular to methods for treating mastitis in animals.
State of the art
Currently, a wide range of ointments, gels and solutions are used in the treatment of skin diseases and diseases of the mammary gland.
(Найдено в Интернете:. https://lek.103ua/fastin-instruktsiva/ 26.05.2021).Known ointment "Fastin", which is applied to the skin, sterile gauze wipes and applied to the affected surface. Composition: 1 g of ointment contains anesthesin (benzocaine) 30 mg, furacilin (nitrofural) 20 mg, synthomycin 16 mg. Excipients: polyethylene oxide-400, sepineo P600, purified water. (Found on the Internet: https://lek.103ua/fastin-instruktsiva/ 05/26/2021).
The disadvantage is that it is effective only in the first phase of the wound process (ie inhibits microbial growth) and is poorly absorbed through the skin.
- с. 296, 302, 304, 307, 328, 329, 331).A known method of treating animals with mastitis using antibiotics and sulfonamides (Chervyakov D.K. et al. Medicines in veterinary medicine. Handbook., M., 1977. - S. 296, 302, 304, 307, 328, 329, 331) .
The use of antibiotics and sulfonamides for the treatment of mastitis is becoming less and less effective due to the emergence of resistant strains of microorganisms, the percentage of which in many cases is more than 80% of the number of isolated strains of bacteria, in addition, in the treatment of mastitis in lactating cows, milk is contaminated with antibiotics and other antibacterial agents. drugs.
%:A known method for the treatment of subclinical mastitis in cows, taken by us as a prototype. The method includes external application of a gel-like preparation 2 times a day for 3-5 days, as a gel-like preparation, a mixture containing dimexide, xanthic gum, zinc chelate, vanilla essential oil, petroleum jelly and water is used in the following ratio, wt. %:
11.02.2020. №5).(RF patent No. 2713927, IPC A61K 31/10, 31/723, 33/30, 47/06, A61R 31/00. Published on February 11, 2020. Bull. No. 5).
The disadvantage of this drug is not a sufficiently wide antimicrobial spectrum.
One of the proven methods to increase the effectiveness of antibiotics, prevent or slow down the formation of resistance of pathogens to the action of these drugs is combined chemotherapy.
The objective of the invention is to expand the arsenal of drugs for the treatment of mastitis in pets.
%):The task is achieved by the fact that a preparation of the following composition (mass %) is used as a therapeutic agent:
The optimal composition of the proposed drug (wt.%): antibiotic ceftriaxone - 1; dimethyl sulfoxide - 50; distilled water - 49. The drug is used externally once or twice a day until recovery at the rate of 3-5 ml per 1 dm 2 of the affected tissue.
Justification of the maximum content of the components of the proposed drug. The use of ceftriaxone less than 0.1% reduces the therapeutic efficacy of the drug, and when the content of ceftriaxone is above 2%, in some cases, a local irritating effect is noted. When the content of DMSO is less than 40%, the therapeutic efficacy of the drug decreases, as well as the solubility of ceftriaxone. When the content of DMSO is more than 60% in some animals, the effects of local irritant action were noted.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that, in addition to the antibiotic ceftriaxone, the preparation contains an aqueous solution of dimethisulfoxide (DMSO) as active substances, which has an anti-inflammatory effect and promotes transdermal penetration of antibacterial substances into the deep layers of damaged tissues, thereby enhancing the therapeutic effect.
The technical result is a high therapeutic efficacy due to increased anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action, the absence of inflammatory reactions when applied externally.
[1, 3].Dimethyl sulfoxide is an anti-inflammatory agent for external use, inactivates hydroxyl radicals, improves the course of metabolic processes in the focus of inflammation. It has a local anesthetic, local anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial (antiseptic) and fibrinolytic effect. Penetrates through the skin, mucous membranes, the membrane of microbial cells (increases their sensitivity to antibiotics) and other biological membranes, increases their permeability to other drugs. Changes the sensitivity of microflora resistant to antibiotics. In most cases, they are used in combination with other drugs (after dissolving in it or applying it to the skin) for better and deeper penetration into tissues (for example, with heparin in the treatment of thrombophlebitis, with glucocorticoids in the treatment of eczema, with antimicrobials in the treatment furunculosis, erysipelas, acne, etc.) [1, 3].
В условиях клинической практики цефтриаксон обычно эффективен в отношении следующих микроорганизмов: Грсш-положительные - Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus A (Str. pyogenes), Streptococcus V (Str. agalactiae), Streptococcus viridans, Streptococcus bovis. F. varium), Peptococcus spp., Peptostreptococcus spp. [2] (Машковский М.Д. С. 269).Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic of the third generation of the cephalosporin series, has a bactericidal effect, inhibits the growth of most gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Resistant to beta-lactamase enzymes (both penicillinase and cephalosporinase produced by most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria). In clinical practice, ceftriaxone is usually effective against the following microorganisms: Grass-positive - Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus A (Str. pyogenes), Streptococcus V (Str. agalactiae), Streptococcus viridans, Streptococcus bovis. Gram-negative: Aeromonas spp., Alcaligenes spp., Branhamella catarrhalis, Citrobacter spp., Enterobacter spp. (some strains are resistant), Escherichia coli, Haemophilus ducreyi, Haemophilus influenzae, Haemophilus parainfluenzae, Klebsiella spp. (including K1. pneumoniae ), Moraxella spp., Morganella morganii, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Plesiomonas shigelloides, Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Providencia spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa (some strains are resistant), Salmonella spp. (including S. typhi), Serratia spp. (including S. marcescens), Shigella spp., Vibrio spp. (including V. cholerae), Yersinia spp. (including Y. enterocolitica) Anaerobic pathogens: Bacteroides spp. (including some strains of B. fragilis), Clostridium spp. (including CI. difficile), Fusobacterium spp. (except F. mostiferum.
