Abstract
Description
Изобретение относится к области испытаний радиоэлектронной аппаратуры (РЭА), функционирующей в условиях повышенной температуры, на стойкость к воздействию импульса гамма-излучения (ИГИ).The invention relates to the field of testing radio-electronic equipment (REA), operating at elevated temperatures, for resistance to the effects of a pulse of gamma radiation (IGI).
The requirements for radiation testing of electronic equipment for weapons of military and special equipment are set taking into account various conditions of its use: in atmospheric conditions or in outer space (in vacuum). In addition, a significant number of simulation facilities (MUs) have vacuum chambers in their composition, which make it possible to reproduce higher IPG parameters compared to atmospheric conditions. In the general case, the radiation resistance of REE should be determined in the modes of operation that are most critical to the test impact. It is known that an increase in the temperature of electronic equipment elements as a result of self-heating or the impact of external factors can cause a decrease in resistance to the impact of IPG and lead to equipment failures, up to catastrophic ones. Thus, it is expedient to test CEA for resistance to IPG in thermal conditions closest to the maximum allowable temperature of its operation.
There are known methods for radiation testing of electronic equipment elements, as a rule, individual electronic circuit boards or integrated circuits, in which heating to the required temperature is carried out using substrates with heating elements made in the form of printed conductors through which an electric current is passed [1], or with the help of ohmic heating elements made, for example, in the form of a chip resistor, which releases a sufficient amount of heat from its surface during operation [2], or heat-conducting plates [3]. A common disadvantage of the methods is the impossibility of uniform heating of relatively large CEA samples due to the large uneven distribution of temperature over its volume.
A known method of thermal stabilization of electronic equipment by passing the coolant through a microchannel heat exchanger installed on the electronic equipment [4]. The disadvantage of this method is the relatively large size of the thermal stabilization system, including thermoelectric modules with a hydraulic circuit of a microchannel heat exchanger, which does not allow placing a heated REE in a test volume with an acceptable uneven distribution of radiation parameters, especially in a vacuum chamber of modeling installations with limited overall dimensions.
Known technical solution implemented in the creation of installations for setting and stabilizing the temperature of semiconductor devices and integrated circuits in the range from -60°C to +150°C during simulation laser and x-ray tests [5] by heating or cooling the air flow supplied to test object. However, this method is also not applicable for implementation under vacuum conditions.
The closest technical solution for reproducing the thermal regime of REA during radiation tests is proposed in the prototype method [6] of the claimed invention. It consists in the use of a heat chamber with heat-insulated walls and a heating-cooling temperature control system, where boards with irradiated electronic elements are placed. The disadvantage of this technical solution is the low efficiency of its application when testing REA for resistance to the effects of IGI. This is due to the significant attenuation of the intensity of gamma radiation by the thermal chamber and, therefore, the impossibility of providing the required levels of test exposure for a pulse with a duration from units to tens of nanoseconds.
The technical result of the invention consists in reproducing the given thermal regime of REA, adequate to the actual conditions of its operation, and the given level of exposure to IPG during testing of REA both in atmospheric conditions and in vacuum.
The technical result is achieved through the use of a flexible electric heater, consisting of conductive threads embedded in a thermal fabric base, placing the electric heater on the outer surface of the electronic equipment, ensuring uniform heating of the electronic equipment to a predetermined temperature, and also determining the thickness of the electric heater, taking into account the attenuation of the level of the acting gamma radiation.
The method was tested on MU Trans-4-1, which is a high-current generator of pulsed bremsstrahlung in the gamma-X-ray range. The radiation of this setup is symmetrical with respect to its longitudinal axis. The radiation output device makes it possible to irradiate objects both under atmospheric conditions and in a vacuum chamber (at a residual pressure of about 10 -4 mm Hg).
To heat the CEA, a flexible heater was used, which is a synthetic thermal fabric base 0.3 mm thick with conductive carbon threads woven into it, located along the entire outer surface of the CEA with an interval of 2 cm to ensure uniform heating of the block.
1).In FIG. 1 shows the results of experimental determination of the "transparency" of a flexible heater. The attenuating properties of the heater were determined by comparing the results of measuring the maximum exposure dose rate P X at different levels of exposure to gamma-ray radiation MU Trans-4-1 using a diamond dosimeter SAD-1M and thermoluminescent detectors DTG-4 installed on the outer surface of the flexible heater (
In FIG. 2 and FIG. Figure 3 shows the results of experiments on heating a CEA block with overall dimensions of 70 mm × 70 mm × 150 mm, respectively, under atmospheric conditions and in vacuum. The mass of the block is 0.7 kg, the body is made of steel 0.8 mm thick. Inside the block, on a printed circuit board with an aluminum heatsink, there is a 142EN5A microcircuit - a linear supply voltage regulator (for 5 V and 5 A). The heating mode was controlled using a specially developed programmable system built on a standard industrial controller and including temperature monitoring units at several control points (up to 4) inside (dashed lines) and on the surface (solid lines) of the REA.
As a result of the studies, it was found that the use of a flexible electric heater for heating REA from conductive filaments embedded in a thermal fabric base does not lead to a weakening of the IPG parameters during radiation tests, which makes it possible to reproduce the specified exposure levels when REA is heated to temperatures adequate to the actual conditions of its operation.
Compared with other analogues, the proposed method is simpler in its implementation, does not require large financial costs and can be used in testing CEA for resistance to the effects of IPG not only in atmospheric conditions, but also in vacuum conditions.
