Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the production of copper-nickel-oxide-carbon composite materials suitable as catalysts for organic synthesis reactions.
Lignocellulosic materials and wood are widely used to produce carbon materials with desired characteristics such as density, porosity and developed surface. Activated carbon materials are cheap and have a large specific surface area per unit mass. The microporous structure and, as a result, the adsorption capacity of the obtained carbon carriers depends on the methods and conditions for preparing the target non-graphitized carbon during the production process. It is noted that the use of activating agents, oxygen or mineral acids increases the number of active centers on the surface of the pyrolytic material. It is known that microporous carbon supports can be obtained from lignocellulosic raw materials, which can be used for the production of metal oxide and metal catalysts. The use of waste from the woodworking industry as a substrate for applying the active substance will reduce the cost of such catalysts, and the use of a carbon substrate itself simplifies the processing of used catalysts, making it possible to extract metals and oxides from the spent material by combustion. Thus, the issue of reducing the amount of solid waste at each stage of the life cycle of manufactured products is solved.
The key issue is the use of waste wood biomass and the extraction of resource potential from waste, which is in line with the principles of sustainable development.

Drying, carbonization and activation are carried out with direct-flow movement of chips through the reactor at a temperature rise rate in it of 20-80°C/min to a pyrolysis temperature of 800-900°C, at which air is supplied to the reactor.
Patent RU2534801 (published: 12/10/2014) describes the alkaline activation method. The invention relates to the field of obtaining powder active carbons. A production method is proposed, including grinding of raw materials, drying, introduction of a chemical activating agent, activation, washing and drying of the finished product. Wood or technical lignin or peat are used as raw materials. Potassium or sodium hydroxide is used as a chemical activating agent. Drying is carried out at a temperature of 280-600°C. Activation is carried out in an atmosphere of vapor gases when the temperature rises to 550-800°C. Washing is carried out in three stages at a temperature of 70-90°C. At the first stage, it is washed with water, then with hydrochloric acid, and at the last stage with water.
WO2014/196888 (published 12/11/2014) discloses a method for producing a high-performance carbon material by carbonizing lignocellulosic material, activating with alkali, and then sequentially washing with water, hydrochloric acid solution and water at a temperature of about 50°C until neutral.
The carbonization of lignocellulosic material is carried out in an atmosphere of gases formed during pyrolysis, at a heating rate of 4-6°C/min to temperatures of 300-600°C with holding at a final temperature of 60-120 minutes, while wood chips with dimensions 1-20 mm. Before activation, the resulting cooled carbonizate is ground to a particle size of less than 250 μm, impregnated with an alkali solution (50%) in a ratio of 1: 1-2.5 relative to the mass of carbonizate, kept at room temperature for 10-200 minutes, then the mixture is placed for activation into a reactor heated to a temperature of 550-700°C, at which the mixture is kept for 30-150 minutes. The use of wood chips with a size of 1-20 mm eliminates the need for energy-intensive grinding equipment. The regime chosen for the carbonization of the feedstock makes it possible to obtain a carbon material with a developed surface. With further heat treatment at the activation stage, a heterogeneous reaction between the components of plant raw materials with alkali metal hydroxide passing into the molten state is provided, where due to oxidative-hydrolytic transformations, gaseous products are formed that accompany the development of a porous structure. Alkaline compounds promote the cleavage of bonds in thermally less stable structures, for example, between polysaccharides and lignin, and the subsequent formation of new bonds in thermally more stable polymeric aromatic structures. The presence of water vapor in the activation medium makes it possible to speed up the process and increase the microporosity of the final product.
