Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of testing technology, in particular to ground-based thermal vacuum testing of space objects in conditions close to the operation of space objects in open space, and can also be used in those areas of technology where there are increased requirements for theoretical and experimental research during development thermal modes.
When conducting thermal vacuum tests, for example, of an automatic spacecraft, which during normal operation can have different flight trajectories and equipment operating modes, it is very difficult to implement multiple operating modes, so it becomes necessary to reproduce extreme flight conditions, one of which is the creation of extremely low temperatures on the object.
№ 15).There is a known method of cooling down a system of a space object operating in a vacuum, when simulating normal operation conditions, which consists in installing the system in a vacuum chamber, evacuating the vacuum chamber to a predetermined value and simultaneously cooling down the system by supplying liquid nitrogen to the cryoscreen cavity, controlling the temperature on the system and test it (RF patent No. 2205140, IPC: B64G 7/00 (2006.01), published on May 27, 2003. Bull. No. 15).
The closest in technical essence to the proposed invention is a method for cooling down a system of a space object operating in a vacuum, when simulating normal operation conditions, which consists in installing the system in a vacuum chamber having a cryoscreen, evacuating the vacuum chamber to a predetermined pressure and cooling down the system by supplying liquid nitrogen into the cavity of the cryoscreen, control the temperature on the system under test during its operation, at the end of the tests the cryoscreen is warmed up and the vacuum chamber is depressurized (RF Patent No. ). This method is taken as a prototype.
The disadvantage of analogue and prototype is that the achievement of extremely low temperatures by these methods is a rather lengthy process, which is associated with high energy and labor costs, namely: high consumption of expensive liquid nitrogen during cooling down and a long time to reach the regime. When the system under test is cooled down, the cryoscreen of the vacuum chamber is, as a rule, completely filled with liquid nitrogen and the temperature on the cryoscreen is maintained at (minus 196)°C (liquid phase of nitrogen). In order to create a uniform temperature field around the system under test and simulate the conditions of "cold" space, the permissible maximum temperature of the cryoscreen should not exceed (minus 170) ° C, which can be obtained by blowing the cryoscreen with cold gaseous nitrogen under pressure from a liquid nitrogen reservoir, and this will give significant savings in expensive liquid nitrogen. At this temperature, the reradiated heat gains from the walls of the vacuum chamber, technological equipment and the system under test should not exceed 10 W/m 2 . If the temperature of the cryoscreen becomes higher (minus 170)°C, then these external heat inflows begin to increase, as a result of which the errors in simulating the thermal state of the system under test increase, which leads to the unreliability of ground thermal vacuum tests and the impossibility of verifying the calculated thermal model of the product. In addition, less time will be spent on warming up the cryoscreen after testing, since its temperature during testing will be higher than the boiling point of liquid nitrogen.
The objective of the invention is to reduce the consumption of liquid nitrogen under simulated conditions of normal operation of the system being tested, as well as to reduce the total duration of the tests.
The technical result of the invention is to reduce energy and labor costs, reduce the total time of testing.
The technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the method of cooling down the system of a space object operating in vacuum, when simulating the conditions of normal operation, which consists in installing the tested system in a vacuum chamber having a cryoscreen, evacuating the vacuum chamber to a predetermined pressure and chilling the tested system by supplying liquid nitrogen into the cavity of the cryoscreen, control the temperature on the system under test during its operation, at the end of the tests the cryoscreen is heated and the vacuum chamber is depressurized, while liquid nitrogen is supplied at a flow rate that provides the gaseous phase of nitrogen at the outlet of the cryoscreen, when a quasi-stationary state is reached by temperature of the cryoscreen, close to the boiling point of liquid nitrogen, determine the maximum amount of liquid nitrogen flow, reduce the supply of liquid nitrogen to the cavity of the cryoscreen, maintaining the gaseous phase of nitrogen at the outlet of the cryoscreen, when the permissible maximum and temperature of the cryoscreen, at which imitation of space conditions during normal operation of the system under test is provided, determine the minimum amount of liquid nitrogen flow, maintain the range from the maximum to the minimum liquid nitrogen flow during the operation of the system under test.
Compared with the prototype, the claimed technical solution saves expensive liquid nitrogen and reduces the total time of ground thermal vacuum tests.
