Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of ceramic materials science, obtaining a material based on zirconium dioxide, stabilized in tetragonal form.
The material can be used for the manufacture of structural and medical products, in particular, prosthetic dentistry restorations.
В настоящее время керамика на основе тетрагонального диоксида циркония, стабилизированного катионами иттрия [Y-TZP], активно используется в имплантологии и протезировании [Piconi С., Maccauro G. Zirconia as a ceramic biomaterial//Biomaterials. 1999. №20, P. 1-25; Лебеденко И. И. Currently, ceramics based on tetragonal zirconia stabilized with yttrium cations [Y-TZP] are actively used in implantology and prosthetics [Piconi S., Maccauro G. Zirconia as a ceramic biomaterial // Biomaterials. 1999. No. 20, P. 1-25; Lebedenko I.Yu., Khvan V.I., Deev M.S., Lebedenko A.I. Zirconium, zircon, zirconium dioxide. - Russian dental journal. - 2008. - No. 4. - S. 50-55]. Clinical practice has shown the need to improve the reliability and improve the performance of ceramics.
Cales, J.M. Drouin Low temperature ageing of 3Y-TZP//J Am Ceram Soc. 1999. V 82.P. 2150-2154; Гветадзе Р.Ш., Дьяконенко E.E., Лебеденко И.Ю. 2016. т. 95. №6. С. 51-60].The most significant negative factor of this ceramics is the presence of degradation of strength properties during prolonged exposure to the biological environment [J. Chevalier, B. Cales, J.M. Drouin Low temperature aging of 3Y-TZP // J Am Ceram Soc. 1999. V 82.P. 2150-2154; Gvetadze R.Sh., Dyakonenko E.E., Lebedenko I.Yu. A study of aging, fatigue and degradation to improve the reliability of dental zirconia ceramics. Review of articles in world journals. // Dentistry. 2016. vol. 95. No. 6. S. 51-60].
In the publication [Ilyicheva AA, Kutsev SV, Mikhailina NA, et al. "Nanostructured ceramics based on modified systems ZrO2 - Y2O3 and ZrO2 - Yb2O3 for orthopedic dentistry", 2014. Journal of Materials Science. No. 11. S. 51-56]. It is shown that the replacement of the stabilizing yttrium cation with ytterbium has a positive effect on this factor.
[M.M.R. Boutz, A.J.A. Winnubst, В. Van Langerak, R.J.M. Olde et al. The effect of ceria co-doping on chemical stability and fracture toughness of Y-TZPJ. Mater. Sci. 1995.-V. 30 pp. 1854-1862; Шевченко A.B., Лаптева B.B., Дудник E.B., и др. В публикации [Vleugels J., Xu, Т., Huang, S., Kan Y., Wang P., Li L., Van der Biest O.: Characterization of (Nd,Y)-TZP ceramics prepared by a colloidal suspension coating technique// J. Eur. Ceram. Soc. 2007. Ceramic materials are known in which, in order to reduce the effect of low-temperature aging on strength properties, combinations of cations are used that stabilize the tetragonal form of zirconium dioxide. So in publications [M.M.R. Boutz, A.J.A. Winnubst, B. Van Langerak, R. J. M. Olde et al. The effect of ceria co-doping on chemical stability and fracture toughness of Y-TZPJ. Mater. Sci. 1995.-V. 30 pp. 1854-1862; Shevchenko A.B., Lapteva B.B., Dudnik E.B., et al. Complex alloyed zirconium dioxide for ceramic implants: production and properties // Powder metallurgy. 2014. No. 7/8. Pp. 90-100] it is shown that additional introduction of cerium cations into Y-TZP ceramics increases the low-temperature stability of its strength properties. In the publication [Vleugels J., Xu, T., Huang, S., Kan Y., Wang P., Li L., Van der Biest O .: Characterization of (Nd, Y) -TZP ceramics prepared by a colloidal suspension coating technique // J. Eur. Ceram. Soc. 2007. V.27. pp. 1339-1343] provides data on the positive effect of the introduction of neodymium cations on the strength properties.
[Kern F. Ytterbia-neodymia-costabilized TZP - Breaking the limits of strength-toughness correlations for zirconia//J. Eur. Ceram. Soc, 2013. V. 33, P. 965-973. The closest in composition to the invention is the material presented in the publication [Kern F. Ytterbia-neodymia-costabilized TZP - Breaking the limits of strength-toughness correlations for zirconia // J. Eur. Ceram. Soc, 2013. V. 33, P. 965-973. DOI: 10.1016 / j.jeurceramsoc.2012.10.028], which contains (mol%) 1% ytterbium and 2% neodymium. Ceramics have high flexural strength up to 1250 MPa and crack resistance up to 13 MPa⋅m 1/2 , provided by the use of high-energy-consuming hot pressing.
The disadvantage of the above ceramic materials is their chromaticity, which differs from natural teeth, caused by the use of colored cations (Ce; Nd). In orthopedic dentistry, to replace lost teeth and restorations, there is a need to simulate the appearance of a natural tooth, taking into account individual characteristics. The natural color for teeth, as a rule, varies from white with blueness to cream, less often yellow. The introduction of the ytterbium cation preserves the white color of the ceramic. The inclusion of cerium cations in the composition causes a greenish tint, and the introduction of a certain amount of neodymium cations causes a violet color. [Kulinich E.A., Khabas T.A., Nikolaeva O.O. Influence of the type and method of introduction of rare-earth element oxide additives on the color of dental porcelain // Bulletin of the Tomsk Polytechnic University 2009. V. 314. No. 3. S. 15-16; Dyakonenko E.E., Lebedenko I.Yu. Comparative evaluation of monolithic and veneered dentures // Digital dentistry. 2017. No. 1 (6). S. 58-68]. In view of this, the amount of colored cations introduced should be strictly controlled, in particular, the presence of Nd cations should be minimal.
5%.Known ceramic material from VITA "VITA In Ceram - YZ", [All-ceramic restorations from oxide ceramics "VITA In Ceram - YZ" http://www.vita-blocs.ru/], based on tetragonal zirconium dioxide, stabilized with yttrium cations, in which, in order to reduce the effect of low-temperature aging on the strength properties, introduced A1 2 O 3 in an amount of not more than 5%.
The disadvantage of the ceramic material of this invention is the low value of resistance to brittle fracture, crack resistance according to the coefficient K 1C does not exceed 5.9 MPa⋅m ...
A known method of producing ceramics based on zirconium dioxide for restorative dentistry [RF Patent No. 2536593, C04B 35/486, C04B 35/624 publ. 12/27/2014], in which co-precipitation of zirconium, yttrium and aluminum hydroxides, freezing of hydrogels and subsequent heat treatment of xerogels is ensured.
The disadvantage of this method is the inclusion of an expensive stage of freezing the precipitation products and the use of initial dilute solutions (~ 0.1-0.2M) of zirconium, yttrium and aluminum salts, which significantly reduces the yield of the final product. The density of ceramic materials does not exceed 92% of the theoretical density, which negatively affects the stability of the mechanical characteristics of ceramics under conditions of low-temperature aging.
The closest analogue of the invention in terms of the production method is a material based on tetragonal zirconia stabilized with yttrium and ytterbium cations, described in RF patent No. 2681788 C04B 35/624. Ceramic material obtained on the basis of initial powders synthesized by reverse deposition from a mixture of one-molar salt solutions with ammonia solution in the presence of isobutanol and polyvinylpyrrolidone, followed by thermal treatment of xerogels at a temperature of 750 ° C, compacting the charge by semi-dry pressing and sintering at a final temperature of 1450 ° C.
The disadvantage of this method of obtaining is that the morphological composition of the powders is represented by rigid agglomerates of different sizes of comminuted form. This determines the low fluidity of the powder and the uneven filling of the forms in which the initial powders are compacted, especially the forms of complex configurations, for example, typical for printing on 3-D printers. This drawback is eliminated by the proposed method of obtaining the claimed material.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to create initial powders with increased fluidity and obtain on their basis a ceramic material having high mechanical characteristics stable at low temperature aging, as well as color characteristics close to natural teeth.
The technical result of the invention is to obtain initial powders with increased fluidity and, on their basis, a ceramic material with color characteristics (color, saturation and lightness) close to natural teeth, having high parameters of fracture toughness and strength, the values of which are stable under the influence of factors corresponding to a long stay in vivo.
Технический результат достигается тем, что керамический материал, получают на основе шихты, имеющей следующий химический состав (мас.%): Yb2O3 8,45÷9,15, Al2O3 0,4÷4,0, Nd2O3 0,05÷0,55, остальное ZrO2, при этом суммарное содержание Yb2O3 и Nd2O3 не превышает 9,7 мас.%.The technical result is achieved by the fact that the ceramic material is obtained on the basis of a charge having the following chemical composition (wt%): Yb 2 O 3 8.45 ÷ 9.15, Al 2 O 3 0.4 ÷ 4.0, Nd 2 O 3 0.05 ÷ 0.55, the rest ZrO 2 , while the total content of Yb 2 O 3 and Nd 2 O 3 does not exceed 9.7 wt.%.
In addition, the specified technical result is achieved by the fact that the method of obtaining the initial powders includes the use of a mixture of aqueous one-molar salt solutions after reaching an equilibrium state characterized by a pH value of 0.4-0.6, reverse precipitation of a mixture of salt solutions with an ammonia solution in the presence of 0.1% an aqueous solution of starch, deagglomeration of xerogels in a planetary mill, heat treatment at a temperature of 800 ° C, re-disaggregation, compaction of the charge and sintering of compacts under continuous heating with holding for 2 hours at a final temperature of 1500 ° C.
The essence of the invention is as follows.
The proposed method for producing powders provides a uniform distribution of components in the bulk of the material, the use of a mixture of solutions in an equilibrium state for precipitation and the presence of starch in the reaction mixture ensures the globular shape of both individual particles and agglomerates, and deagglomeration at the xerogel stage also contributes to the globulization of agglomerates, which increases general fluidity of synthesized powders.
The claimed chemical composition provides the formation of a solid solution based on tetragonal zirconium dioxide, stabilized by ytterbium and neodymium cations, as well as the formation of a microphase α-Al2O3, both of these factors have a restraining effect on the growth of ceramic grains during sintering, thereby, favoring an increase in the stability of the strength characteristics of ceramic material under conditions of low temperature aging.
The claimed ceramic material has color and strength characteristics that meet the requirements of restorative dentistry: static bending strength of at least 900 MPa, fracture toughness K 1C at least 13 MPa⋅m and a microhardness of 13 GPa.
The material retains the values of strength characteristics under conditions of low-temperature aging, after exposure to factors simulating a long-term stay in the biological environment (in vivo). The latter was tested according to ISO 13356 (4.8 Accelerated Aging Test): hydrothermal treatment (HTT) was used for 5 hours at a temperature of 134 ° C and a pressure of 200 kPa.
The claimed content of neodymium oxide determines the color of the material as white with a slight blueness. The deviation of the content of Nd 2 O 3 from the claimed in the lower direction reduces the strength of the material, and an increase in the content of Nd 2 O 3 above 0.55 wt.% Changes the color, gradually transferring it to a purple tone.
Deviations from the claimed content of ytterbium oxide in total with neodymium oxide above this leads to the formation of a solid solution of a cubic structure, which has a negative effect on the degree of sintering and strength characteristics of the material.
An increase in the content of A1 2 O 3 above 4.0 wt.% Determines an increase in the sintering temperature of the ceramic material.
The use of a mixture of aqueous one-molar salt solutions that have reached an equilibrium state and precipitation in the presence of starch promotes the formation of globular aggregates in the powders, which determines the production of denser compacts and, accordingly, after sintering, the samples have a lower internal porosity. Sintering of compacts of powders at temperatures below 1500 ° C leads to the production of specimens with open porosity, and exceeding the temperature leads to recrystallization and the appearance of closed porosity, the first and second have a negative effect on the strength characteristics of ceramic specimens.
The proposed technical solution makes it possible to obtain a ceramic material of white color with a light blueness, having a static bending strength (σ) of at least 900 MPa, crack resistance (to 1s ) of at least 13 MPa⋅m , microhardness H = 13 GPa. The material retains the values of strength characteristics after exposure to factors that simulate long-term presence in the biological environment. The achieved parameters make it possible to use this ceramics for technical and medical products, mainly in restorative dentistry.
The invention is illustrated by 3 examples, 3 figures and 1 table.
Examples of specific production of the claimed ceramic material are given for the synthesis of 100 g of nanopowders.
1.Example 1.

3.To obtain powders of chemical composition (wt.%) ZrO 2 90%, Yb 2 O 3 - 9%. Nd 2 O 3 - 0.06% Al 2 O 3 - 0.94% prepare a mixture of aqueous solutions of initial salts (concentration 1 mol / l), which are taken in the following volumes: 730 ml of zirconium oxychloride, 46 ml of ytterbium nitrate, 0, 4 ml of neodymium chloride and 18.5 ml of aluminum nitrate. The mixture is kept for 1 hour until a constant value of the acidity of the medium is reached, pH = 0.4 ÷ 0.6. Then this mixture is introduced into 600 ml of a 25% aqueous ammonia solution and a 0.1% aqueous starch solution is added in an amount of 100 ml. Precipitation is carried out with stirring for 2 hours, the acidity of the medium pH = 9.7 ÷ 9.9. The gel-like precipitate is filtered off, washed with a five-fold volume of distilled water and dried at 180 ° C for 4 hours. The xerogels obtained are subjected to disaggregation in a planetary mill with balls of zirconium dioxide in ethanol for 5 minutes; the ratio of material: balls is 1: 2., then calcined in a muffle furnace with exposure for 1 hour at a temperature of 800 ° C. Repeated disaggregation is carried out in a planetary mill with corundum balls in ethanol for 10 minutes; Material: balls ratio is 1: 2. The specific surface area powders, as measured by the BET method is 42 m 2 / g. From the obtained powders, blanks are pressed in a steel mold in the form of straight prisms with dimensions of 4 × 4 × 32 mm at a specific pressing pressure of 200 MPa. Sintering of ceramics is carried out in furnaces with chromite-lanthanum heaters in air in a continuous heating mode with holding for 2 hours at a final temperature of 1500 ° C. The density of ceramics, determined by hydrostatic weighing, reaches at least 99.85% of the theoretical density. The ceramic material has a phase composition corresponding to the complex oxide solid solution Zr 1-n [YbNd] n O 2 , which is illustrated in Fig. 3.
