Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of chemistry, in particular to catalysts of a protective layer for hydrotreating heavy oil fractions, and can be used in the oil refining and petrochemical industries.
In the coming years, hydrotreating will remain the largest-tonnage oil refining process, and its role is growing due to the tightening of standards for the sulfur content in gasoline, diesel, jet and marine fuel, as well as an increase in the depth of oil refining and the involvement of heavy oils in oil refining. Due to the widespread use of the method of close packing of fine-grained hydrotreating catalysts, which began to play the role of a kind of filter for mechanical impurities, the formation of a crust in the upper part of the catalyst layer has become a fairly common problem. One of the factors contributing to the formation of a cake in the upper part of the reactor is the very high activity of modern hydrotreating catalysts. Hydrotreating feedstocks can contain olefins, diolefins, resins, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Heavy feedstock (vacuum gas oil and fuel oil) additionally also contains asphaltenes and organometallic compounds. All of these compounds are extremely reactive under hydrotreating operating conditions and form polymers (original coke) with excellent adhesive properties. Polymers are an adhesive that holds mechanical impurities and catalyst particles together to form a hard crust.
The solution to the problem is the graded loading of the upper part of the catalyst bed. This requires ranking both by particle size and shape and by catalytic activity. Guard bed catalysts to prevent the formation of a crust in the upper part of the catalyst bed are currently used for all types of petroleum feedstocks.
Л. Known [RU 2252243 C1, 2005] a method for producing diesel fuel using layer-by-layer loading of catalysts. However, the use of these catalysts as protective ones for the hydrotreating of heavy oil fractions will not be effective, because the pore size of the catalyst of the protective layer is 4.0-14.0 nm, and they will be blocked by coke deposits [Berg GA, Khabibullin S.G. Catalytic hydrotreating of oil residues. L. Chemistry, 1986 - 192 p.].
There is also known a method for producing high-purity silicon dioxide from silicon-containing finely dispersed plant waste - mainly rice husk [RU 2307070, RU 2291105] in the process of their oxidation. Rice husk (husk) is a serious environmental problem due to its large-tonnage output. The ash produced at a low combustion temperature is soft, contains silica in a cellular non-crystalline form with a high surface area (50-60 m 2 / g). According to V.A. Golubev. et al. [Combustion of fuel: theory, experiment, applications. Materials of the IX All-Russian conference with international participation. November 16-18, 2015, Novosibirsk], rice husk (husk) contains more than 15% mass of SiO 2 , and ash from the combustion of husk - 86.5% of the mass.
The closest known solutions to a similar problem in terms of technical essence and the achieved effect are demetallization catalyst RU 2147256 [Golubev AB, Levin OV, Vyazkov VA, Markova MG. Catalyst for hydrotreating petroleum fractions and method of its preparation]. This catalyst contains oxides of Mo, Ni, and / or Co and Al, formed in the form of hollow cylindrical granules with a certain ratio of the outer diameter to the inner diameter. The catalyst additionally contains SiO 2 at a certain ratio of components. The disadvantage of the proposed catalyst is the low demetallizing activity, which is not provided by the composition of the catalyst and the method of preparation. The guard bed catalyst for hydrotreating oil fractions [RU 2699225, Guard bed catalyst and method of its use] has a high demetallizing activity, but the disadvantage of this catalyst is its low mechanical strength under conditions when the gas-feed mixture flow has a maximum speed, that is, this catalyst is used as first layer.
The objective of the invention is to create a new wide-pore catalyst of the protective layer for reducing the deposits of organometallic compounds in the upper layer of the catalyst for hydrotreating heavy feedstock, the method of its preparation and use, and allowing to increase the demetallizing activity of the catalyst.
120 The task is achieved by developing a catalyst composition for the protective layer for hydrotreating heavy oil fractions, which contains from 1 to 5 wt% V 2 O 5 , from 1 to 10 wt%. SiO 2 , and the rest is Al 2 O 3 and inorganic impurities obtained from the combustion of rice husk flour, while the total specific pore volume of the catalyst is from 0.9 to 1.5 ml / g, and the effective pore diameter is from 70 to 120
SiO2.This task is also achieved by the development of a method for preparing a catalyst, which includes peptization of aluminum hydroxide obtained by reprecipitation from aluminum trihydrate or hydrolysis of aluminum alcoholate, concentrated HNO 3 , peptization of vanadium oxide V 2 O 5 with concentrated HNO 3 , in a molar ratio of V 2 O 5 : HNO 3 from 1 to 5, applying pregelatinized V 2 O 5 onto rice husk flour particles ranging in size from 30 to 50 microns, mixing pregelatinized aluminum hydroxide with V 2 O 5 applied to rice husk flour particles, evaporating the mixture to a residual moisture content of 60-65 wt% ., molding, subsequent drying of the resulting particles at temperatures from 60 to 120 ° C for 6 hours, and calcining at a temperature of 550-600 ° C for 2 hours with the formation of SiO 2 .
Molding is carried out by extrusion in the form of hollow cylinders with an inner diameter of 1-5 mm, an outer diameter of 10-15 mm, and a height of 5-10 mm.
Also claimed is a method of using a catalyst as a catalyst for a protective layer to reduce deposits of organometallic compounds in the process of hydrotreating heavy oil fractions.
The method for preparing the catalyst consists in the fact that rice husk flour is treated with a colloidal solution of vanadium oxide peptized with concentrated HNO 3 , mixed with aluminum hydroxide, also peptized with concentrated HNO 3 . The peptized mass is dried with stirring and shaped, dried and calcined. After calcination, the catalyst of the upper protective layer consists of the following oxides: V 2 O 5 , SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 and inorganic impurities obtained from the combustion of rice husk flour.
2.The porous structure is formed due to the presence of microparticles of rice husk flour, which, in the presence of an oxidation catalyst V2O 5 , completely burn out during calcination with the formation of SiO 2 .
