Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the oil industry and can be used in the development of low-permeability oil deposits using separate injection of water and gas.
20.01.2010). A known method of development during the re-entry of wells and oil deposits as a whole, including the use of fountain or mechanized oil production and the formation of a system of vertical-lateral flooding. For this purpose, filling pipes are lowered into the deactivated idle wells above the top of the productive formation and the bottomhole is cemented under pressure to a height greater than the thickness of the formation. In wells that are reactivated as production wells, the resulting cement nozzle is drilled to a depth of no more than half of the interval of the productive formation, counting from the top. Additionally, a sump is created for lowering the perforating equipment and re-perforating is performed in an interval of no more than half of the productive formation, counting from the top. Then the wells are launched into oil production in a flowing or mechanized way. In wells, which are reactivated as injection wells, the resulting cement nozzle is drilled to the bottom of the formation, a sump is created for the perforating equipment, and re-perforation is performed in the interval of the lower one third of the formation. Then the injection wells are started for water injection. To reduce the likelihood of loss of tightness of the cement stone above or below the perforation interval, the creation of perforations is performed by the method of hydrosand-jet perforation (RF patent No. 2379492, class E21B 43/20, E21B 43/11, publ. 20.01.2010).
The closest in technical essence to the proposed method is a method of organizing vertical-lateral waterflooding, including the use of idle - being in the conservation of vertical or directional wells. Wells are selected which are reactivated as production and injection wells. In reactivated production wells, the lower half of the productive formation is isolated, but the perforated interval in the upper half of the productive formation is left unaffected, tubing is lowered - tubing with a deep pump and / or other equipment in accordance with the planned method of operation and the well is put into operation with production of products from the perforated upper half of the reservoir. In wells that are reactivated as injection wells, tubing with a packer is run, the packer is set at the level of two-thirds of the productive thickness from the top of the formation, and then water is injected into the lower third of the productive formation. According to one of the options, the isolation of the lower half of the productive formation is carried out by installing a cement bridge or filling the lower part of the bottom with cement. Alternatively, isolation of the lower half of the productive formation is carried out by using tubing with a packer, a sealed plug at the lower end of the tubing and the presence of holes, slots or other through slots in the tubing at the level of the upper perforated half of the productive formation. In this case, the packer is installed at the level of the middle of the pay zone thickness (RF patent No. 2531074, class E21B 43/20, publ. 20.10.2014 - prototype).
A common disadvantage of the known methods is that, despite the creation of vertical-lateral oil displacement, this process is not optimized both in terms of the selection of working agents, their injection volumes, and the location of wells and their modes of operation, which leads to a rapid breakthrough of the working agent and low oil displacement rates, especially for poorly permeable formations. As a result, oil recovery from the use of these methods remains low.
The proposed invention solves the problem of enhancing oil recovery of low-permeability oil deposits.

The essence of the invention.
The development of a low-permeability oil reservoir is characterized by low efficiency of water injection for the purpose of maintaining reservoir pressure and oil displacement. As a result, the sweep efficiency and oil recovery remain low. The existing technical solutions do not fully allow for the most complete oil production from low-permeable deposits by means of water injection. The proposed invention solves the problem of enhancing oil recovery of low-permeability oil deposits. The problem is solved as follows.
The method is implemented as follows.
An oil deposit with a low-permeability reservoir and a total oil-saturated thickness of at least 50 m is selected. At least one development element (for example, a five-point element) is distinguished on the deposit, which is an injection well with producers around. Wells are selected in such a way that the distance between the injection and production wells in the productive part of the formation is 300-1000 m. In addition to the working wells, the wells that are in conservation are selected, which will be reactivated as production and injection wells. In addition, if necessary, additional vertical and / or directional wells are drilled.
According to studies, with a total oil-saturated formation thickness of less than 50 m, the proposed method significantly reduces oil recovery due to a decrease in sweep efficiency. The location of the injection and production wells at a distance of 300-1000 m from each other in a reservoir with a thickness of at least 50 m makes it possible to create lateral oil displacement and avoid a sharp breakthrough of the working agent to the production wells. Moreover, a distance of less than 300 m does not provide proper lateral displacement, and at a distance of more than 1000 m, the effect is practically not observed due to the low permeability of the reservoir.
After the initial withdrawal of reservoir products and the reduction of reservoir pressure to a level not lower than the saturation pressure of oil with gas, the injection wells begin to simultaneously and separately inject water and gas using appropriate equipment. For this, no more than 1/3 of the formation is perforated at the top and no more than 1/3 of the formation at the bottom. Gas is injected into the top part of the formation, and water is injected into the bottom part of the formation. The selection of products from production wells, and, accordingly, perforation is carried out in the average, not more than 1/3 in thickness, part of the productive formation. The gas used is CO 2 , N 2 or hydrocarbon gas, and the water is formation, waste or fresh water. Thus, vertical-lateral oil displacement is formed.
The number of injection wells, the ratio and type of water and gas are determined based on the results of laboratory studies on oil displacement and hydrodynamic modeling with the volumes of water and gas available for injection in the area of the given reservoir and with the achievement of maximum oil recovery. During the development process, injection and withdrawal are monitored by means of hydrodynamic modeling. The breakthrough of the working agent to the producing wells, as well as the prevention of a decrease in reservoir pressure below the saturation pressure of oil with gas, is controlled by the modes and operating time of all wells in the reservoir. Periodically, the injection of working agents is changed - gas is injected into the bottom part of the formation, and water is injected into the top part of the formation.
According to studies, when the reservoir pressure drops below the saturation pressure of oil with gas, the efficiency of the method is significantly reduced due to the deterioration of oil characteristics. Gas injection is more efficient for low-permeability, predominantly hydrophobic reservoirs compared to water injection, because gas has the best cleaning ability for such reservoirs. In addition, gas is much more mobile than water, which allows it to penetrate deep into the reservoir, accumulate in the form of a gas cap (with a certain geological structure) and restore reservoir pressure. Due to the partial dissolution of gas in oil, its viscosity decreases, which has a positive effect on oil recovery. However, gas injection also has disadvantages. Due to the high mobility, gas can quickly break through to the bottom of the producing wells. Therefore, to achieve maximum efficiency, it is necessary to simultaneously pump water. Injection of gas into the top part of the formation, water into the bottom part, and withdrawal of production from the middle part of the formation, allows vertical-lateral oil displacement. Periodic inversion of the injection of working agents, i.e. gas - into the bottom part of the formation, and water - into the roof one, allows to increase both the sweep efficiency and the displacement coefficient. When perforating more than 1/3 of the formation at the top and / or more than 1/3 of the formation at the bottom in injection wells, the probability of a sharp breakthrough of the working agent to the producing well increases. A similar situation occurs when perforating in a production well more than 1/3 of the average thickness of the part of the productive formation.
Development is carried out until the full economically viable development of the deposit.
The result of the introduction of this method is to increase the oil recovery of a low-permeable oil reservoir.
Examples of specific execution of the method.
Example 1. Oil reservoir with dimensions of 3000x3000 m, represented by a purely oil zone with an average reservoir permeability of 1 mD, depth of reservoir top - 1600 m, oil viscosity in reservoir conditions 15 mPa · s, initial reservoir pressure 16 MPa, oil saturation pressure - 8 MPa and total oil-saturated thickness in the dome of the reservoir - 50 m, was penetrated by one directional well, which is in conservation. This well will be reactivated.
Preliminary laboratory studies on oil displacement and reservoir simulation are carried out. In the course of these studies, the number of injection wells, the ratio and type of water and gas, their volumes are determined with the achievement of maximum oil recovery.
A five-point development element is formed on the deposit, for which four vertical wells are additionally drilled to the existing well. The five-point element is created in such a way that an injection well is located in the center, and production wells are located around, and the distance between the injection and production wells in the productive part of the formation is 1000 m.
The production of the formation is withdrawn by all five wells until the formation pressure drops to the level of oil saturation pressure of 8 MPa. Then, in the injection well, 1/3 part of the borehole is perforated in thickness in the producing formation at the top (16.7 m when counting from the top of the formation) and 1/3 part at the bottom (16.7 m when counting from the bottom of the formation). Gas is injected into the roofing part of the formation, and water is injected into the bottom part using equipment for simultaneous-separate water and gas injection. In a production well, 1/3 of the borehole (16.6 m) is perforated in the middle part of the formation. Associated petroleum gas from this and the nearest surrounding deposits is used as gas, and associated waste water is used as water. The total ratio of injected water and gas is: 30% gas and 70% water. Thus, vertical-lateral oil displacement is formed.
Every six months, the injection of working agents is changed - gas is injected into the bottom part of the formation, and water is injected into the top part of the formation.
Development is carried out until the full economically viable development of the deposit.
Example 2. Perform as example 1. The reservoir is characterized by other geological and physical characteristics, dimensions, there is a water-oil contact (OWC). The elements of an in-line waterflooding system are formed: two rows of five production wells and one row of four injection wells located between the producers. Wells are drilled in a directional direction. The distance between the boreholes of the injection and production wells in the productive part of the formation is 300 m. The perforation of the wellbore in the lower 1/3 of the productive formation in the injection well is counted from the OWC level. CO 2 is used as gas, and fresh water is used as water. The pumping of working agents and the selection of products are carried out in a cyclic mode.
As a result of the development, which was limited to achieving a water cut of the reservoir up to 98%, 846 thousand tons of oil were produced, the oil recovery factor (ORF) was 0.192 unit fraction. According to the prototype, all other things being equal, 674 thousand tons of oil were produced, the oil recovery factor was 0.153 unit units. The increase in oil recovery factor according to the proposed method is 0.039 unit fractions.
The proposed method makes it possible to increase the oil recovery factor of a low-permeability oil reservoir, to increase the coverage and uniformity of reserves development due to the organization of vertical-lateral oil displacement, the use of simultaneous-separate injection of water and gas, as well as optimization of injection parameters and well operation modes.
Application of the proposed method will allow solving the problem of increasing oil recovery of a low-permeability oil reservoir.
