Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of ensuring trouble-free operation of field pipelines and can be used in corrosion monitoring systems for their condition.
A device for controlling the degree of local corrosion of metal structures in conductive media (RF patent No. 2143107, G01N 17/00, G01N 17/02, publ. 12/20/1999), consisting of an electrically closed to the construction of the object of exposure to a corrosive environment - housing made of the same material as the structure, and the entire building or part of it in contact with the medium has a predetermined thickness smaller than the wall of the structure. The cavity of the housing is filled with a non-conductive inert capillary-porous material into which a metal electrode is inserted, and a recording device is included between the housing and the electrode. In case of local corrosion perforation of the housing or its thinner part, the medium is sucked into the cavity, followed by wetting of the metal electrode after a certain period of time, as a result of which the resistance in the housing-electrode circuit changes and the electrode potential difference between the housing and the electrode occurs, which is recorded by the corresponding devices : either an ohmmeter or a voltmeter, based on which the degree of local corrosion is determined.
A significant drawback of this device is that it performs a one-time function: after perforation and determination of local corrosion, it is subject to almost complete replacement, with the exception of the metal electrode. In addition, this device does not allow to determine the kinetics of the development of the corrosion process, for the determination of which it is proposed to use several such devices with different wall thicknesses of the case, which will significantly increase the cost of control. Also, when using the device in conditions of elevated pressure and temperature, restrictions are required on the minimum thickness of the housing and careful sealing of the cavity of the housing and the input sections of the metal electrode and current lead connecting the housing to the metal structure is required.
There is also known a device for controlling the penetration of local corrosion into metal structures (RF patent No. 2510496, G01N 17/02, publ. 03/27/2014), which consists of objects exposed to a corrosive environment - metal plates having a thickness smaller in advance and different from each other than a wall of a metal structure, and made of the same material as the metal structure. In this case, one side of each plate is turned towards a corrosive medium, and the other, by known methods, is electrically and mechanically connected to a tread of the same size as a plate made of metal having a more negative corrosion potential in this medium than the plate metal. Each plate and protector form sensors that are electrically isolated from each other, and the protector from the medium, with an anticorrosive dielectric coating, and each sensor is placed in a common housing made of corrosion-resistant dielectric material and has electrical contact with a metal structure through a switch block and a current-measuring device .
A significant disadvantage of this device is the low speed and lack of functionality, which significantly limits the scope of its application. Sensors are triggered only when they are perforated and, up to this point, there is no data on the rate of corrosion development. To obtain more up-to-date information, it is necessary to reduce the thickness of the plates, but this requires frequent replacement of the sensors, since their life is determined precisely by the thickness of the plates. This disadvantage limits the scope of the device, for example, in field pipelines with inhibitor protection of the inner surface from corrosion.
The closest set of features to the claimed device is a device for detecting localized corrosion of a metal surface (US patent No. 5139627, G01N 17/02, publ. 08/18/1992 - prototype), containing a matrix of two or more electrodes made of the same material, as a metal surface and subject to the same corrosion conditions as a metal surface, means for measuring the coupling current between two or more matrix electrodes, means for measuring the noise of an electrochemical current arising in the matrix of electrodes, and means for comparing the coupling current with the noise of the electrochemical current to provide an output signal indicating the degree of localization of corrosion. The greater the noise of the electrochemical current compared with the current of communication, the greater the degree of localization of corrosion. In the description of US patent No. 5139627 it is shown that the corrosion current density observed in the electrodes of the device is described by the ratio
где k - коэффициент, полученный на базе известной константы Штерна - Гири (Stern-Geary) - В, определяемой эмпирическим путем;where k is the coefficient obtained on the basis of the well-known Stern-Geary constant (Stern-Geary) - B, determined empirically;
Atotal - площадь электрода, доступная воздействию коррозионной среды;A total - the area of the electrode available to the effects of a corrosive environment;
IDC - среднее значение электрохимического тока между электродами, измеренное амперметром с нулевым входным сопротивлением;I DC - the average value of the electrochemical current between the electrodes, measured by an ammeter with zero input resistance;
I n is the rms value of the noise of the electrochemical current.
Depending on the value of the ratio I n / I DC , the nature of the corrosion described by relation (1) varies significantly. So, with values less than 0.01, uniform corrosion occurs. If the ratio I n / I DC is in the range of 0.01 ... 0.1, then i corr will characterize mixed corrosion - general and local. For ratios greater than 0.1, the value of i corr will refer to local corrosion.
To clarify the disadvantages of the prototype, we give some mathematical expressions.

However, all this is true if the coefficient k is known with sufficient accuracy. But in commercial environments, the k value cannot be constant, since well production undergoes a composition change over time, which is due to many factors, including the introduction of chemicals that slow down the corrosion of field equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to promptly adjust the value of k depending on variations in the parameters of the controlled environment. Another problem when using the device according to US Pat. No. 5,139,627 in field conditions is the manifold structure of gas-liquid flows, which can be in horizontal pipelines and can significantly affect the estimation of the corrosion rate. Thus, the prototype has the following disadvantages, which are manifested in commercial conditions:
- ограниченная точность, обусловленная вариациями параметров коррозионной среды;- limited accuracy due to variations in the parameters of the corrosive medium;
- зависимость точности оценки скорости коррозии от структуры потока коррозионной среды в трубопроводе.- dependence of the accuracy of the estimation of the corrosion rate on the structure of the flow of the corrosive medium in the pipeline.
The aim of the invention is to increase the accuracy of assessing the corrosion rate (general and local) for field conditions and to ensure the invariance of the meter to the structure of the flow of a controlled medium transported through a field pipeline.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the local corrosion meter of oil and gas pipelines, containing a matrix of two or more electrodes made of the same material as the pipeline and subject to the same corrosion conditions, means for measuring the coupling current between two or more matrix electrodes, means for measuring the noise of the electrochemical current arising in the matrix of electrodes, according to the invention, a probe of a corrosion rate sensor implementing the method of electrical resistance is additionally introduced from measuring transducer of the corrosion rate sensor, which implements the method of electrical resistance, which together with the matrix of electrodes, means for measuring the communication current and means for measuring the noise of the electrochemical current form a measuring channel, a processor configured to receive input signals in analog form and the ability to transfer data to a computer a network, the processor inputs being connected to the corresponding outputs of the communication current measuring means, electrochemical noise measuring means eye and the output of the measuring transducer of the corrosion rate sensor that implements the method of electrical resistance and connected to the probe of the corrosion rate sensor. In the measurement channel, the matrix of electrodes and the probe of the corrosion rate sensor implementing the electrical resistance method are flush with the inner surface of the pipeline. The local corrosion meter of oil and gas pipelines contains several measurement channels in which the matrix of electrodes and probes of the corrosion rate sensors implementing the electric resistance method are placed around the circumference of the pipeline’s inner surface adequately for the purpose of monitoring local corrosion of the pipeline’s internal surface under the changing structure of the gas-liquid flow of the transported medium. The claimed invention is illustrated by drawings.

The device operates as follows.
А. К. Н. 2018 №1 (39), 54-62).The functioning of the device is based on the interaction of two measuring paths. The first one includes the nodes: 1, 2, 6, 7, 11. The result of his work is the assessment of the corrosion rate V corr , in accordance with formula (3). The second path is formed by nodes: 3, 8 and corresponds to the functional diagram of the corrosion rate sensor that implements the method of electrical resistance, or Electrical Resistance (ER) - according to the terminology adopted in foreign technical literature. Its output value is the digital equivalent of the corrosion rate V corrER averaged over the surface of the sensing element of the probe 3 (Blokhin, V.A. Features of measuring the parameters of carbon dioxide corrosion in gaseous media / V.A. Blokhin, A.K. Manzhosov, A.N. Markin // Corrosion 2018 No. 1 (39), 54-62).
До установки устройства на объект измерения процессор 11 программируют на вычисление Vcorr по формуле (3) при значении коэффициента Данное значение рекомендовано в прототипе (патент США №5139627).Before installing the device on the measurement object, the
В процессе проведения измерений, постоянно считываются значения величин In, IDC, VcorrER и вычисляется отношение In/IDC. During the measurement process, the values of the values of I n , I DC , V corrER are constantly read and the ratio I n / I DC is calculated. Upon reaching the threshold I n / I DC = 0.01 (or less), it can be assumed that the corrosion has acquired a uniform character (as noted earlier). In this case, the value V corrER corresponding to the given moment of measurement can be taken as its true value. If the value of the coefficient k corresponds to a controlled corrosive environment, then the equality
Vcorr =VcorrER V corr = V corrER
Otherwise, this measurement phase provides the ability to accurately calibrate the value of the coefficient k, which is determined by the formula:
Thus, a systematic automatic calibration of the coefficient k is implemented depending on the state of the controlled corrosive medium, which leads to a significant increase in the accuracy of the estimation of V corr . In this case, a prerequisite for the correct operation of the device in FIG. 1 is the constant immersion of the
In FIG. 3 shows the structure of the meter, and FIG. 4 - design, allowing to remove these restrictions. The design of the

As a measuring
Thus, the present invention allows to increase the accuracy of estimating the corrosion rate (general and local) for field conditions due to calibration by the processor of the coefficient k depending on the state of the controlled corrosion medium, as well as to ensure the invariance of the meter to the flow structure of the controlled environment transported through the field pipeline, due to the implementation of the electrodes and the probe of the corrosion rate sensor implementing the method of electrical resistance, flush with the inner surface Stu conduit and distribution measurement channels over the entire inner surface of the conduit circumference.
