Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of radio communications and can be used to create a ship tropospheric radio station.
Known tropospheric radio stations, for example, the Russian Federation P-417, P-423, USA AN / TRC - 121 and others containing transceivers and antennas. The disadvantage of all known tropospheric radio stations is that they cannot be used on ships.
The main reason for this can be attributed to the fact that the peculiarity of the tropospheric communication propagation under these conditions is the difficulty of combining in the space two radiation patterns having small solution angles, with a constant change in their position in space as a result of side and keel rolling of ships and changes in their courses. At the same time, the use of tropospheric stations on ships will increase the communication range in the operational-tactical connection of ships to ≈ 150 km, instead of ≈ 20 km, which is currently provided by VHF radio stations. In addition, increases the security of radio communications from intentional interference, due to a significantly narrower directivity pattern of antennas of tropospheric radio stations in comparison with the directivity patterns of VHF radio stations.
The aim of the invention is to increase the communication range in the operational-tactical link control of ships and increase the security of communication channels from intentional interference in this link.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the tropospheric radio station containing a transceiver and an antenna, a ship antenna installation (KAU) is additionally included in which from the automated information and control subsystem of the ship (Katanovich A.A., Muravchenko V.L. Automation of control of ship communication systems of the Navy. - St. Petersburg: Shipbuilding, 2014) information about the azimuth of the ship with which tropospheric communication is maintained and the elevation angle of the reemission region in the troposphere is supplied to the KAU control device.
To ensure reliable combination of two radiation patterns of two tropospheric radio stations located on different ships, information is needed on their coordinates, as well as on the angular deviations of the antenna reflector axis, which coincides with the axis of its radiation pattern, as a result of keel and airborne quality and yawing of the ship in the course.

Ю. Д. И. А. З. « Журнал радиоэлектроника» №10, 2015.The principle of operation of the KAU device and the mathematical justification of the proposed solutions are described in detail in the work “ship antenna installation of a satellite communications system: Mathematical model, control algorithm, construction option” N.Yu. Vorobiev, D.D. Gabrielyan, V.I. Demchenko, A.A. Kosogor, O.Z. Sultanov. "Journal of Radio Electronics" No. 10, 2015.
Developed and currently used in the satellite communications system, the ship's antenna installation solves the problem of providing communication between two tropospheric stations, provided that the information entered into the control device on the angular coordinates of the elevation and azimuth of the satellite (ε 0 , ϕ 0 ) by the angular coordinates of the elevation re-emissions of electromagnetic pulses in a physically inhomogeneous troposphere at an altitude of 10-15 km (Wikipedia) and the azimuth of the ship in communication.
In FIG. 2 conventionally depicted two tropospheric stations on the earth (water) surface, the boundaries of their radiation patterns in the vertical plane and the region of re-emissions. The coordinates of this region are located at an altitude of ≈ 12.5 km in the middle of the distance between the radiation sources, which makes it possible to unambiguously determine the azimuth and elevation angle of the reemission region. Information about the change in the coordinates of the ships providing tropospheric communication is received by the KAU control device from the automated information and control subsystem of the ship, receiving information from satellites, from ship radar stations and from tropospheric ship stations themselves, which communicate with each other.
Thus, when implementing the proposed technical solution, the problem of providing tropospheric communication between ships and the related problem of increasing the communication range in the operational-tactical link of ship control and increasing the protection of communication channels from intentional interference will be solved.
