Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of hydrometallurgy of precious metals and can be used to extract gold from refractory carbonaceous ores by heap leaching.
Some refractory gold-bearing ores contain an organic carbonaceous substance with sorption activity in relation to the gold cyanide complex (pregrobbing phenomenon). At relatively low gold grades in these ores, their processing by existing methods is not profitable. The present invention is intended for the processing of carbonaceous gold-bearing ores and, in particular, for processing ores with a low content of a valuable component.
1982).A known method of leaching metals from ores, including crushing and forming stacks from crushed ores, irrigation of the stack with a solution of leaching reagents and collecting productive solutions (Heap and underground metal leaching. M., Nedra, 1982).
The disadvantage of this method is its low efficiency due to the sorption of the gold cyanide complex by the carbonaceous substance that is part of the processed ore from productive solutions.
2000).Closest to the claimed is a method of heap leaching of gold from ores, according to which the ore is crushed, after which it is stacked and irrigated with a solution of alkali metal cyanides. In this case, the crushed ore before processing with cement is subjected to enrichment to obtain rich and poor parts. After cyanidation of the rich part, the obtained cakes are mixed with the poor part. (Tatarinov A.P. et al. Method for the extraction of gold from ores, Irgiredmet, 2000).
The disadvantage of this method is its low efficiency due to the sorption of the gold cyanide complex by the carbonaceous substance that is part of the processed ore from productive solutions.
The objective of the invention was the involvement in the processing of refractory carbon ores with a low content of a valuable component and increasing the profitability of this processing.
The technical result of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the processing of refractory carbonaceous ores by heap leaching by suppressing their natural sorption activity.
The specified technical result is achieved in that a heap leaching method from refractory carbonaceous ores, including agglomeration of the feedstock, stacking of agglomerated ore in stacks and leaching of gold by feeding a leach solution into a stack, recycling of working solutions, characterized in that after stacking the ore in stacks irrigated with a solution containing besides sodium cyanide and alkali protective anionic surfactant (sodium dodecylsulfate - C 12 H 25 SO 4 Na), wherein the sol obtained productive s is sent on sorption, then obezzolochennye doukreplyayut solutions of alkali metal cyanides, surfactants (to avoid "wash-out" process reactant with carbonaceous matter), adjusted pH level and sent to the irrigation.
Distinctive features of the proposed method from the prototype is the introduction into the process of a solution containing an anionic surfactant, either with solutions fed for irrigation, or directly during agglomeration.
The method was tested on the ores of one of the deposits of the Russian Federation, which has a pronounced sorption activity.
The deposit is represented mainly by rock-forming minerals, of which 33% are in quartz and 28% in albite. The mass fraction of sulfides does not exceed 0.5%. The carbon content is 2.9% and it has a low degree of graphitization, is X-ray amorphous, and has a high ash content. Gold in the ore is native, there are no other forms of its occurrence. It is associated mainly with quartz and sulfides, forming intergrowths and finely dispersed impregnations. The main content of gold is determined by the presence of large gold. According to studies, mainly of the class +0.15 mm. By fineness, gold belongs to the class of moderate to high grade. The gold content in the sample is 0.8 ± 0.35 g / t, silver - less than 1 g / t. The main industrial interest is gold. In cyanide form, 88.6% of gold is present in the ore ore. Of these, 71.0% of gold is free, recoverable by adalgamation. In persistent form, 11.4% of gold is present. Due to the presence in the ore of a carbonaceous substance that causes the sorption of gold complexes, its extraction during direct cyanidation does not exceed 5%. A possible solution to the problem of increasing the recovery of gold from such ores in CV is the use of anionic surfactants (in this particular case, sodium dodecyl sulfate), which suppress natural sorption activity.
Four experiments were carried out on percolation leaching, in the first ore sintering was carried out without the addition of a reagent, in the rest with its addition. In the first and second experiments, the ore was pretreated with a solution containing 1 g / l of reagent for 3 days, followed by leaching with a cyanide solution with reagent in the first experiment and without it in the second (concentration of NaCN and NaOH was 1 g / l) . In the third experiment, a solution containing 1 g / l of reagent, sodium cyanide and sodium hydroxide was supplied throughout the entire percolation leaching cycle, and in the fourth, a cyanide solution with a concentration of 1 g / l NaCN and NaOH without adding reagent. Crushed ore samples were pelletized with a cement flow rate of 15 kg / t. Samples of ore samples weighing 1 kg were loaded into percolation columns with a height of 0.5 m and a diameter of 0.10 m. Leaching time — until the asymptotic character of the graph of the function of extracting gold into the solution from the W: T ratio. The irrigation density in all experiments was 120 l / m 2 day
1.On the eleventh day, due to extremely low concentrations of gold in the productive solutions of all the columns, the material was extracted from them. The cakes were dried and grated to a fineness of minus 0.071 mm, after which the residual gold content after leaching was determined. Summary indicators are presented in table 1.
The results of experiments on the percolation leaching of crushed ore samples of a minus 2 mm grain size with the addition of reagents that suppress sorption activity into the process showed that when sodium dodecyl sulfate is introduced into the agglomeration process, the gold recovery increases significantly and amounted to 40% in the first experiment. Pretreatment for 3 days with a solution with a reagent (the concentration of which was 1 g / l at an irrigation density of 140-150 l / m 2 days) does not significantly affect the recovery of gold, while the content of the reagent in the leach solution affects the recovery of gold - in the second and fourth experiments, the gold recovery is lower (33.66% and 24.53%, respectively) than in the experiments where the reagent was contained in the solution (40.0% in the first experiment and 44.78% in the third). The difference in the balance of gold in the ore is due to the presence of large gravitational gold. Reagent consumption depends on the activity of the carbonaceous component in the ore.
Thus, the proposed method provided the extraction of gold from all the samples studied (the first experiment - 40%, the second - 33.6%, in the third - 44.78, and 24.53% in the fourth).
