Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of powder metallurgy, in particular to methods for producing ceramic parts with a given spatial geometry and can be used to obtain parts from ceramics that can be used in the aerospace, energy, medical, engineering and metallurgical industries.
[1].A method of obtaining parts with a given spatial structure by the method of 3D printing, including the supply of material in the form of a flexible rod made of various polymeric materials, followed by its melting in the print head [1].
[2].There is a method of creating a three-dimensional model by selective laser sintering. According to this method, a laser beam sintering a given volume of material in layers, which uses a liquid photopolymer, in which a special hardening agent is added. The composition is polymerized by ultraviolet radiation [2].
The known method based on the device [3], which includes a movable head moving in three axes according to a predetermined scheme, equipped with a material supply system, which solidifies at a given temperature. Three-dimensional objects can be obtained by applying repeated layers. Each subsequent layer formed by the nozzle of the dosing head is located above the previous layer to a certain and controlled height to which the dosing head moves. In this case, as the material for the production of products using various polymeric materials, pre-formed in the form of a flexible rod.
However, these methods do not allow to obtain products from ceramics, characterized by a high melting point, high strength, hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance.
The closest technical solution to the claimed invention is a method of obtaining three-dimensional ceramic products [4], including the supply of thermoplastic suspension, preheated to a temperature of (70 ÷ 90) ° C, through a conical confuser nozzle under pressure. This method is distinguished by the complexity of the design for its implementation, which includes a heated flexible pipeline to supply a heated thermoplastic suspension, the need for constant mixing of the suspension to avoid its separation and consistency and the need for precise control of pressure and temperature parameters.
The technical result of the present invention is to develop a method for producing ceramic products based on powders of metal oxides, which improves the processability of the manufacturing process of ceramic parts, expands the product range by obtaining complex 3D structures, increasing the number of products by ensuring uniform distribution of metal oxide particles in a precompacted rod .
To achieve this technical result, a method for producing ceramic products based on metal oxide powders is proposed, which includes additive coating of a hardening thermoplastic suspension in the form of a mixture of a thermoplastic bond with metal oxide powders through a conical confuser nozzle in a movable head, followed by cooling, annealing and sintering the workpiece. As powders of metal oxides, powders based on the zirconium dioxide – yttrium dioxide system are used. Paraffin and / or ceresin and / or wax with surfactant additives are used as a thermoplastic ligament. The thermoplastic suspension is preheated to the fluidization temperature, stirred to a uniform consistency and compacted in the form of a solid cylindrical rod. The rod, placed in a cylindrical container, is fed under force to a movable head connected to the container through an annular insulating gasket, heated to the temperature of fluidization of a thermoplastic suspension. In the head carry out layer-by-layer fluidization of the rod. The composition of the system zirconium dioxide - yttrium dioxide is determined from the ratio

The resulting positive effect of the invention is due to the following factors.
д. [5, 6].1. Use of ZrO 2 - Y 2 O 3 system as metal oxide powders allows to reduce the sintering temperature of ceramic products due to the high activity of these powders [5], to obtain high strength and hardness parameters of ceramic products with low thermal conductivity, high operating temperature and chemical inertness. This allows the use of such products as thermal insulating elements, filters for molten metals, etc. [5, 6].
[7].2. The use of surfactants allows reducing the content of paraffin and / or ceresin and / or wax [7].
3. Preheating, fluidization, mixing and compacting in the form of a solid cylindrical rod ensure uniform distribution of the powder in the rod, up to its layer-by-layer melting in the moving head.
4. Heating of the moving head to the temperature of fluidization provides layer-by-layer melting of the thermoplastic suspension for its further extrusion through a nozzle in the moving head.
5. Thermal insulation gasket prevents the energy losses of heating the container and the upper part of the rod, which contributes to the effective melting of the thermoplastic suspension in the lower part of the rod.
6. The mass fraction of powder in suspension in accordance with the relation (1) z = (0.70 ÷ 0.75), determined experimentally, provides high processability of the process by optimizing the viscosity of the thermoplastic suspension. By reducing the content of the powder (z <0.70), the viscosity of the suspension decreases slightly, however, the residual porosity in the resulting products increases.
[8]:7. The feed force of the rod to the movable head is determined by the given dependence of the flow rate of the thermoplastic suspension on time G (t), which is calculated based on the specific geometry of the product. The flow of fluid through a tapering device - the nozzle is determined by the following relationship [8]:
где Δp(t)=p(t) - pа - перепад давлений, Па;where Δp (t) = p (t) - p а - pressure drop, Pa;
p(t) - давление расплава в подвижной головке, Па.p (t) is the melt pressure in the moving head, Pa.
Из соотношения (3) определяется p(t):From the relation (3) is determined p (t):
To create pressure in the moving head p (t), it is necessary to create a rod feed force equal to
(2):From (4), (5), follows the relation (2):
The inventive method is implemented as follows. In the CAD system, the required geometry of the part is designed, which is then converted into commands for the system for controlling the movement of the head and the feed force of the rod. The cylindrical rod is placed in a container and run the control program. The layer-by-layer fluidization of a solid cylindrical rod occurs in the local heating zone, while the melt is metered out through the nozzle of the movable head.
The construction of a given geometry of the product from a thermoplastic suspension is carried out in layers by the method of fusion. To form the final part, the resulting billet is subjected to cooling, annealing to remove the technological bond, followed by high-temperature sintering.

As an example of the implementation, a prototype 3D printer was made (Fig. 1), upgraded to the features of a method for producing three-dimensional ceramic products, with an improved movable head (Fig. 2). A cylindrical rod 1, obtained by compacting a thermoplastic suspension, is placed in a

(2).When varying the flow rate of the suspension G (t), the feed force of the rod F (t) will vary in accordance with relation (2).
To obtain products in the form of blades of overall dimensions 30 mm × 156 mm × 8 mm (Fig. 3) using the developed method, a thermoplastic suspension based on the zirconium dioxide – yttrium dioxide system (ZrO 2 - Y 2 O 3 ) obtained from 70 wt. % powder ZrO 2 - Y 2 O 3 and 30 wt. % binder based on paraffin with the addition of surfactants. After molding the ceramic semi-finished product, the organic binder was removed at a temperature of 1100 ° C in an atmosphere of air and high-temperature sintering of the products at a temperature of 1500 ° C and held at this temperature for one hour. The strength of the finished material for bending was (750 ± 35) MPa, Vickers hardness was (15 ± 1.5) GPa.
Thus, the proposed method allows to ensure the claimed positive effect of the invention - the manufacture of ceramic products of a wide range by obtaining complex 3D structures, improving the processability of the process and the quality of products by ensuring uniform distribution of metal oxide particles in a precompacted rod.
