Abstract
Description
The invention relates to artillery weapons and more specifically to shells of multiple launch rocket systems.
При этом в снаряд перед выстрелом, в качестве полетного задания, закладывается алгоритм функционирования снаряда на траектории, а именно, закладывается время отстрела двигателя, время включения тормозов и прочее (НПО ПРОГРЕСС, изделие ГЛИССАДА-БЗМ - http://www.mriprogress.ru/_files/G6.pdf).Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) remain one of the most popular types of weapons in most armies in the world, including the Russian Army. As you know, the main disadvantage of MLRS is a significant dispersion of shells. The developers of these systems seek to supply ammunition with various navigation devices for correcting the movement of shells on the trajectory, in order to reduce the ellipse of the dispersion of shells. At the same time, the projectile’s functioning algorithm along the trajectory is laid in the projectile before the shot, namely, the time of the engine firing, the time the brakes are turned on, etc. are laid down (NPO PROGRESS, GLISSAD-BZM product - http://www.mriprogress.ru /_files/G6.pdf).
However, these systems do not allow reliable corrections due to the influence of external conditions and the effects of artificial and natural interference, which leads to an inaccurate setting of the response time. In addition, the applied navigation systems do not allow accurate measurement of the velocity of the projectile.
The proposed technical solution is free from these shortcomings, since the proposed navigation system is not connected to external devices and takes into account the state of the atmosphere in the flight zone of the projectile.
1.Description of the technical solution is illustrated by the diagram, which is shown in figure 1 and table 1.
1.Figure 1. The scheme of motion of a rocket MLRS: the letters O-A-B-C-D indicate the trajectory of the projectile; α is the elevation angle of the gun when firing; V 0 - the velocity of the projectile at the time of shutdown of the jet engine; h 1 - the height at which the jet engine stops working; t 1 - flight time of the projectile with the engine running; S 1 - the distance over which the projectile flew with a working jet engine; t 2 is the projectile flight time from the moment the engine is turned off until the projectile reaches its maximum height; S 2 - the distance over which the projectile flew from the moment the jet engine was turned off until it reaches the maximum height h max ; S p - estimated range, which are determined by the control algorithm of the projectile; t p - estimated times; h, t and S are the coordinates of the altitude, time and range, respectively. Table 1.
O-A-B-C-D.To explain the proposed technical solution, we will analyze the circuit shown in FIG. 1. The purpose of the analysis is to obtain analytical relationships for describing the patterns of the state of the projectile at various heights of the trajectory. In this case, we analyze the change in pressure, temperature, and air density in the zone of motion of the projectile. We will determine the characteristic points in different sections of the movement and offer analytical relationships that can be used to perform the correction of the projectile motion to reduce the dispersion ellipse of the shells. The trajectory of the projectile is indicated by the letters O-A-B-C-D.
In the O-A section (the active part of the trajectory), the projectile moves under the influence of jet thrust of the engine. This section with certain assumptions can be considered linear, in which the projectile moves at an angle α to the horizontal. At point A (at a height from the terrain surface h 1 ), the active section ends and then the projectile moves, obeying the laws of motion of a body thrown at an angle α to the horizon with a speed of V 0 . Consider the plot ABC. In this section, the projectile will move along the parabola, passing point B, corresponding to the maximum height of the projectile (h max ). The considered section of the projectile trajectory is at a considerable height from the earth's surface (kilometers). As is known in this zone, the density ρ of air is significantly lower than near the surface, for example, at an altitude of 6 kilometers it is more than two times less. Table 1 shows data showing how air density changes with height.
As you know, the air density ρ is one of the main factors affecting the resistance to movement of the projectile. The drag force D exerted on the movement of the projectile in the air can be estimated using the known ratio:
Как видно из (1) сила лобового сопротивления пропорциональна плотности воздуха ρ.where ρ is the air density, S is the projectile cross-sectional area, ν is the motion velocity, and C D (M) is the dimensionless function of the Mach number (equal to the ratio of the projectile speed to the speed of sound in the medium in which the projectile moves), called the drag coefficient . As can be seen from (1), the drag force is proportional to the air density ρ.
Due to the fact that at height the air density is much lower than in the near-surface layers, to simplify the calculations, we use the relations to describe the trajectory of a body thrown at an angle to the horizon, as when moving in a vacuum. Although in practice this is far from the case. In practice, refinement coefficients can be obtained by shooting.
For a body thrown at an angle α to the horizon with an initial velocity V 0, the maximum lifting height h can be estimated using the well-known relation:
где g - ускорение свободного падения, t - время подъема тела.where g is the acceleration of gravity, t is the time of lifting the body.
Then, on the considered section of the trajectory A-B-C, the height Δh (see Fig. 1) can be determined from the relation:
Символ t в параметре высоты показывает, что высота определена на основе данных измерения величины времени t2.where t 2 is the time during which the projectile has moved from point A to point B. The symbol t in the height parameter indicates that the height is determined based on the measurement data of the time t 2 .
е. PA=PC. Board Mount Trustability. To determine this time t 2 we use the data for measuring the pressure P in the projectile area, for example, at points A (P A ) and C (P C ). These points are at the same height, and the pressures in them must be the same, i.e. P A = P C. Using a miniature pressure sensor, it is possible to obtain pressure characteristics in the form of voltage U. For example, using the Board Mount Trustability absolute pressure sensor.
Using the timer installed in the projectile in real time, the time t 1 at which the pressure at point A is equal to P A and t 3 at which the pressure is equal to P C is determined. Then the time interval t 2 can be determined from the relation:
Подставив полученное значение t2 в соотношение (3), можно вычислить высоту Δh.Substituting the obtained value of t 2 in relation (3), we can calculate the height Δh.
In addition, with the known value of the angle α, it is possible to calculate the value of the velocity V 0 at point A, using the known relation:
The value of this speed can be used to determine the range of the projectile at any time. In this case, it is necessary to use various mathematical formulas obtained empirically for specific shells, taking into account air resistance.
Одновременно со значениями нужных дальностей в вычислительное устройство снаряда должно вводиться значение угла α.To determine the actual projectile range, it is necessary to know the specific heights h 1 , h max , the height difference Δh and the horizontal velocity of the projectile V S. Knowing the heights and distances will determine the times corresponding to the location of the projectile at the calculated points. The ranges at which specific functions should be performed by the projectile are calculated and entered before firing into the computing device of the projectile. Simultaneously with the values of the required ranges, the value of the angle α must be entered into the computing device of the projectile.
In accordance with the laws known for a body thrown at an angle to the horizontal, in the section of the trajectory ABCD, the horizontal velocity of the projectile V S can be determined from the relation:
This ratio does not take air resistance into account. To accurately determine the value of V S, it is necessary to introduce correction factors, which are determined empirically when compiling shooting tables. However, to follow the methodology for calculating the motion parameters, formula (6) may well be applicable.
To determine the heights, we will use the pressure measurement data at the initial point of the trajectory O (P O ), at point A (P A ) at a height of h 1 and at point B (P B ) at a height of h max . And to calculate the altitude values from the pressure value, we use the so-called barometric formula, which has the form:
где Р - атмосферное давление на высоте h, P0 - атмосферное давление на высоте h0, М - молярная масса воздуха, g - ускорение свободного падения, R - универсальная газовая постоянная, Т- температура воздуха.where P is the atmospheric pressure at a height of h, P 0 is the atmospheric pressure at a height of h 0 , M is the molar mass of air, g is the acceleration of gravity, R is the universal gas constant, T is the air temperature.
To determine the height difference Ah (see figure 1) this formula will look like:
Символ р в параметре высоты показывает, что высота определена на основе данных измерения величины давления р.where Ra is the atmospheric pressure at a height of hi, Pb is the atmospheric pressure at a height of h max , M is the molar mass of air, g is the acceleration of gravity, R c is the universal gas constant, T c is the average air temperature at heights h 1 and h max (M = 29 gram / mol, R c = 8.31 Joule / mol * K, g = 9.81 m / s 2 ). The symbol p in the height parameter indicates that the height is determined based on the measurement data of the pressure p.
And to determine the height difference between points O and B (determination of h max ), this formula will look like:
где - Tc2 - средняя температура воздуха на высотах h0 и hmax.where - T c2 - average air temperature at heights h 0 and h max .
The height difference between points O and A (definition of h 1 ) can be determined from the relation:
где - Tc1 - средняя температура воздуха на высотах h0 и h1.where - T c1 - average air temperature at heights h 0 and h 1 .
Одна пара выводов датчика служит для подачи напряжения питания, а со второй снимается разность потенциалов U, линейно зависящая от напряжения питания (пропорциональный выход) и приложенного давления (усилия).When measuring pressure using pressure sensors, the voltage U is fixed in the circuit of the piezoresistive element, which is the main component of the pressure sensor. The element develops an output voltage U, which is directly proportional to the applied pressure P and has very high linearity, repeatability, reproducibility, sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratios. One pair of sensor leads serves to supply voltage, and the second potential difference U is taken, which depends linearly on the supply voltage (proportional output) and applied pressure (force).
It can be seen from relations (8) - (10) that the natural logarithm of the pressure ratio is used to determine the heights, which, given the linear relationship between pressure and voltage, allows substituting the corresponding voltage values in place of pressure values, namely, instead of P O ⇒ U O , instead of P A ⇒U A , instead of P B ⇒U B , where U O , U A U B are the voltage at the output of the pressure sensor at points O, A, B, respectively.
In addition, the use of stress ratios in calculations significantly reduces the requirements for the metrological characteristics of a particular pressure sensor, since the error in measuring pressure (voltage) for a particular sensor is the same at different points.
As can be seen from the formulas for determining the heights, they include the parameter T, which characterizes the air temperature in the measurement zone. From table 1 it is seen that the air temperature decreases with increasing altitude (in the projectile flight zone). To accurately determine the heights by the pressure in the projectile, a small-sized semiconductor temperature sensor is installed.
In order to improve the accuracy of measuring heights in the absence of calibration of pressure sensors, a correction factor k can be introduced. It is proposed to determine this coefficient on the basis of applying a height calculation according to the formulas for a freely falling body, as, apparently, the most accurate, and calculation based on pressure measurements. The above is the data for determining the height Δh using relations (3) and relation (8). Based on this, it is proposed to determine the correction coefficient k, based on the ratio:
(11).In view of the foregoing, in the calculation of heights according to formulas (8) - (10), it is necessary to introduce a coefficient determined from relation (11).
In practice, to carry out a combat mission, it is necessary to provide the projectile with the fulfillment of a given function at specified distances from the shot point. In FIG. 1, some of these functions are indicated, and distances are given for them. The control commands from the computing device of the projectile will occur at calculated intervals in accordance with the calculation algorithm stored in the memory of the projectile before firing in the form of a flight mission.
We give a number of relations for calculating various distances.
The distance S 1 traveled by the projectile under the influence of the thrust of a jet engine is determined using the relation:
The distance S 2 is determined using the relation:
S3=S2.For the circuit shown in FIG. 1 distance S 3 = S 2 .
The minimum projectile fall time T n from a height h max can be estimated using the relation:
The maximum fall time can be determined by substituting the correction factors in relation (14), which will take into account the air resistance ƒ And the resistance value can be estimated based on the measurement of air pressure in a specific projection flight zone. Using the relation
На расчетной дальности Sp (в моменты времени tp) включают исполнительные устройства снаряда в соответствии с алгоритмом работы, заложенным в снаряд перед выстрелом, и за счет этого, выполняют коррекцию траектории снаряда.where ƒ is an empirical coefficient that takes into account the influence of air resistance at the height of the projectile (determined by the value of air pressure at the height of the projectile), S p is the estimated range, in accordance with the algorithm of the projectile, calculate the time t p for which the projectile will pass the calculated range S p . At the estimated range S p (at time t p ), the projectile actuators are turned on in accordance with the algorithm of operation embedded in the projectile before firing, and due to this, the projection path is corrected.
Using the basic elements of relation (14), all time intervals can be determined. For this, it is necessary to measure height differences at specific pressures.
71.To calculate the specific values of the above parameters, taking into account the input data, a low-power microcontroller is sufficient. Such controllers are manufactured by our industry, for example, an 1886BE71 microcontroller.
To physically reduce the dispersion ellipse, braking devices can be used, similar to those used in artillery shells, as well as devices based on the use of various parachute systems. At the same time, the sensors installed in the projectile and the information processing algorithm will allow this to be done with high accuracy.
Thus, the above materials allow you to create a simple miniature navigation system for MLRS shells, which will not depend on external devices, and, thus, will be independent of the enemy’s electronic warfare. This system can be implemented as part of a projectile control device and projectile fuse. Its use will significantly reduce the ellipse of the dispersion of shells, including when firing at significant ranges.
