Closest to the technical nature of the claimed invention is a method of manufacturing a casting mold for investment casting (RF patent No. 2297302, class B22C 9/04, 11/18/2004), which includes layer-by-layer deposition on a lost wax model based on an aqueous binder and refractory dust-like filler with dusting the surface of the form with quartz sand of each layer. When applying the third layer, sprinkling is carried out with quartz sand with the addition of electrocorundum in an amount of up to 30% of the total weight of quartz sand. Provides increased strength of ceramic molds.
The disadvantages of the method are:
- низкая прочность формы в «сыром» состоянии, что иногда приводит к разрушению формы в момент удаления модельной массы;- low mold strength in the "wet" state, which sometimes leads to the destruction of the mold at the time of removal of the model mass;
- высокая прочность формы после прокаливания, что приводит к образованию трещин и разрушению отливок с затрудненной усадкой при охлаждении формы после заливки сплавом;- high mold strength after calcination, which leads to the formation of cracks and the destruction of castings with difficult shrinkage when cooling the mold after pouring the alloy;
- повышение трудоемкости отделения формы от отливки из-за высокой прочности керамики.- increasing the complexity of separating the mold from the casting due to the high strength of the ceramic.
1).The reason for the destruction of the non-calcined form is its low strength of 3-4 MPa when tested in bending. When the model mass is removed, it expands and in places of greatest stress, for example, the connection of two walls at a small angle, the formation of cracks occurs, leading to the destruction of the form (Fig. 1).
After removing the model mass, the mold undergoes heat treatment (it is calcined at 1000 ° C for four hours) and acquires a bending strength of up to 30 MPa. When the casting is cooled, the design of which has areas where shrinkage of the alloy is difficult during its hardening (a blade having a lock at one end and a retaining shelf at the other end) due to the high strength of the mold obtained on an aqueous binder, stresses arise in the casting leading to cracking and her break.
The high strength of the ceramic mold obtained on an aqueous binder, reaching up to 25-30 MPa, complicates the mechanical separation of ceramics and creates the risk of damage to the casting when using large forces.
The objective of the invention is the control of the strength of the ceramic mold in the "raw" and calcined states.
The technical result is the provision of the necessary form strength in the "wet" state and the elimination of difficult shrinkage of the metal in the calcined form.
The problem is solved, and the technical result is achieved by the method of manufacturing a casting mold for investment casting, including layer-by-layer deposition on a lost wax model of a suspension based on an aqueous binder and refractory dust-like filler in the form of electrocorundum micropowder with dusting the surface of each layer and drying the deposited layer, characterized in that mesh material is applied between the ceramic layers with a burn-out temperature of less than 1000 ° C, which is set after each layer or after a predetermined amount quality layers.
In addition, according to the invention, a polymer network can be used as the mesh material.
Furthermore, according to the invention, mesh textiles can be used as the mesh material.
In addition, according to the invention, a metal mesh can be used as the mesh material.
The ceramic mold is formed by dipping the model in a suspension consisting of an aqueous binder and refractory filler (for example, micronum powder) and then sprinkling it with refractory powder and drying the applied ceramic layer. After drying, applied in the required number of layers of ceramics, a mesh material is applied, after which the process of applying ceramic layers is continued to a predetermined technologist.
The invention is illustrated by drawings. In FIG. 1, presents a section of the model 1 - model; 2 - ceramic rod. In FIG. 2 shows a section of the model with the required amount of ceramic layers 1 - model; 2 - ceramic rod; 3 - layers of ceramics. In FIG. 3 shows a section of a model with ceramic layers and applied mesh material 1 - model; 2 - ceramic rod; 3 - layers of ceramics; 4 - mesh material. In FIG. 4 shows a section of the model with the final layers of ceramic 1 - model; 2 - ceramic rod; 3 - layers of ceramics; 4 - mesh material.
In such a ceramic mold, the mesh material deposited between the ceramic layers increases the mold strength in the “wet” state (before calcination), which avoids cracking of the mold when the model is removed and reduces the strength of the ceramic mold after calcination (at a temperature of 1000 ° C) due to burnout or melting the mesh material and the formation of pores (voids), which eliminates the difficult shrinkage of the metal in the mold.
An example of a specific implementation of the method
The manufacture of the mold includes the operations of manufacturing a calcined ceramic rod, obtaining a model with a core inside it, applying a porous layer to the upper sign of the core, applying three ceramic layers to the finished model by dipping it into a suspension consisting of an aqueous binder and refractory filler (for example, fused alumina powder) and then sprinkling with refractory powder and drying the applied ceramic layer, after which mesh material is applied to the ceramic surface. Then two ceramic layers and one more layer of mesh material are applied. Then, the last two ceramic layers are applied and the model mass is removed from the mold. After calcining the mold according to the given mode, it is poured with alloy and a high-quality casting is obtained.
97,14%.From table 1 it is seen that the bending strength of the samples, with the mesh material installed between the ceramic layers in the “wet” state, is higher than that of the samples without the mesh. The strength of raw samples with a mesh of polymer is higher by 45.31%, with a mesh of textiles higher by 15.36%, with a mesh of brass higher by 97.14%.
35,5%.From table 1 it is also seen that the bending strength of the samples, with a mesh material installed between the ceramic layers after calcination, is lower than that of samples without a mesh. The strength of calcined samples with a polymer net is lower by 41.76%, with a textile net 25.82% lower, with a brass net 35.5% lower.
So, the claimed invention allows to increase the strength of the ceramic mold in the "wet" state and prevent difficult shrinkage of the metal in the calcined form.
