Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of oil field development, in particular, to methods for oil production from low permeability reservoirs.
(RU 2433258).A known method of thermogas treatment of the reservoir, including the injection into the reservoir of an oxidizing agent and a cooler (RU 2433258).
The disadvantage of this method is the impossibility of its use for oil production from low-permeability clay reservoirs, because as a result of successive exposure to high temperature and a cooler (water or aqueous solutions), the processes of swelling and dispersion of clay components of the rock will occur, which will lead to attenuation of the filtration through the reservoir.
(RU 2515776).There is a method of developing gas fields in low-permeability reservoirs, including drilling vertical and horizontal wells with multilateral completion at the field, conducting multi-stage hydraulic fracturing and stimulating the operation of wells by injecting water and air (RU 2515776).
The disadvantage of this method is the high complexity of creating a hydraulically coupled system in the formation, which will increase the heterogeneity of the formation and worsen the coverage of the formation by exposure, as well as the inefficiency of pumping water into low-permeability clay reservoirs for oil displacement.
(RU 2403383).Also known is a method of developing an oil deposit, which consists in injecting into the injection wells air, a water-air mixture, hot water and an oil solvent (RU 2403383).
This method does not allow the production of light oil from a low permeability reservoir since there is no possibility of pumping water-air mixture and hot water into the reservoir, which have noticeable filtration resistances.
In addition, hot water and air-air mixture cause swelling and dispersion of clay components of the rock and attenuation of the filtration in the reservoir.
(RU 2567918).Of the known methods, the closest to the proposed method in terms of technical nature and the achieved result is a method of developing a multi-layer heterogeneous oil field, including drilling a vertical and horizontal well system, as well as sidetracks, perforating sidetracks of injection and production wells, hydraulic fracturing, injection of proppant into the formed cracks, injection of an oxygen-containing mixture through injection wells with the creation of a zone o Islenyev and subsequent oil extraction using a downhole production system (RU 2567918).
However, the known method does not provide a high degree of oil displacement, due to the low level of miscibility of oil and inert gas agent formed during the oxidative reaction in the reservoir.
The technical problem to which the invention is directed is to reduce the filtration resistance to the movement of fluids and, accordingly, increase oil recovery.
This problem is solved by the method of developing low-permeability oil deposits, including opening a vertical well of an oil deposit, drilling a system of directional and / or horizontal wells, perforating sidetracks and then conducting multiple hydraulic fracturing with formation of a system of cracks, pumping fractures through injection and production wells of proppant, subsequent injection through the injection wells of an oxygen-containing agent with the creation of a zone of approx seams with elevated temperature and product selection from production wells, according to the invention, before the injection of an oxygen-containing agent through injection wells, a rim in the form of a liquefied wide fraction of light hydrocarbons is pumped, and the volumes of the oxygen-containing agent and rims in the form of a liquefied wide fraction of light hydrocarbons the miscibility of a system consisting of reservoir oil, light hydrocarbons and an inert gas, a product of in situ transformation of acid an antiferous agent.
The technical result achieved is to suppress capillary forces and reduce interfacial tension at the phase boundary.
The essence of the method is illustrated by drawings, illustrating examples of the method, where in FIG. 1 shows the location of injection (1-3) and production (4-9) wells; (where: a and b are the distances between the wells) and FIG. 2 is a layout of production (1-4) and injection (5) wells, (where: r is the distance between the injection and production wells).
The method is as follows.
An oil well is opened by a vertical well and a system of directional and / or horizontal wells is drilled. Perforation of the lateral shafts of injection and production wells and subsequent multiple hydraulic fracturing with the formation of a system of fractures are carried out. Then, proppant is pumped into the formed system of cracks through injection and production wells. The well placement grid and the mode of hydraulic fracturing are carried out taking into account the direction of natural fractures and stresses in low-permeability formations to ensure maximum formation coverage by impact and late displacement of the displacing fluid to production wells.
Then, through the injection wells, rims are injected in the form of a liquefied wide fraction of light hydrocarbons (NGL) with a content of at least 80% of light hydrocarbons from C3 to C6 inclusive.
After that, injection wells are washed with nitrogen to remove light hydrocarbon vapors, nitrogen is injected in a volume of at least 2.5 wellbore volumes.
Then they start pumping an oxygen-containing agent with the creation of an oxidation zone with a high temperature and with the generation of an inert gas agent in the formation.
%.A mixture of oxygen and nitrogen with an oxygen concentration of 10-40 moles is used as an oxygen-containing agent. %
In the case of a breakthrough of an oxygen-containing agent in production wells and with an oxygen content of associated gases of 2 mol. % and above, production wells are stopped and purged with nitrogen in a volume of at least 2.5 wellbore volumes.
Traditionally, the transformation of injected air into an inert gas agent in a formation allows to obtain an easily movable gas displacing oil directly in the formation and capable of realizing an unmiscible oil displacement regime in the reservoir conditions that is close, but not identical, with a mixing oil displacement mode, but does not provide complete suppression capillary forces preventing the displacement of oil.
Creating preconditions by injecting brim from the BFLH upstream of the oxygen-containing agent allows for a high miscibility of the system consisting of reservoir oil, a mixture of light hydrocarbons (injected BFLH and light hydrocarbons evaporated from the oil) and an inert gas agent (product of formation transformation of air), which will ensure complete suppression capillary forces, will reduce the interfacial tension and viscosity of the reservoir oil, as well as reduce the filtration resistance. Light hydrocarbons and an inert product of in-situ transformation of air have a lower viscosity than water and oil, which significantly reduces the overall filtration resistance in a low-permeable formation.
Thus, the injection of the rim in the form of a liquefied wide fraction of light hydrocarbons creates optimal conditions for the implementation of heat-gas exposure in a clay low-permeability reservoir.
The volumes of the NGL rim and the oxygen-containing agent are optimized by mathematical modeling of the formation, based on the condition of ensuring the highest possible level of miscibility of the system consisting of reservoir oil, a mixture of light hydrocarbons and the inert gas formed in-situ transformation of the oxygen-containing agent.
As you know, the low permeability of reservoirs (for example, the Tyumen Suite) is largely associated with a high content of clay cement. Clay minerals are able to change the wettability from hydrophobic to hydrophilic and increase the volume (swelling) upon contact with water, which leads to an increase in the boundary layers on the rock surface and negatively affects the permeability. In the case of clay reservoirs, permeability can significantly decrease as the saturation of the porous medium with water increases.
When using the proposed method when injecting BFLH and an oxygen-containing agent (which is transformed into an inert gas agent in the formation), the saturation of the hydrophobic phase does not decrease, which will increase the permeability of the formation to hydrophobic fluids.
At the same time, the degree of clay swelling decreases due to stabilization and increase in rock saturation with inert products and oil oxidation products.
Below are examples of the implementation of the proposed method, illustrating, but not limiting its application.
1.Example 1
A method for developing a low permeability oil well is carried out. The permeability of the formation is 0.002-0.003 microns. Drilling a system of injection and production wells is carried out in accordance with the scheme shown in figure 1. After hydraulic fracturing with the formation of a system of cracks and injection into the formed system of cracks of propane, a certain volume of a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons (BFLH) is pumped into the formation through a production well. After that, an oxygen-containing agent (air) is injected into the formation through an injection well at a pressure of 250 atm.
The volume of BFLH necessary for injection into the reservoir is established during laboratory dynamic filtration tests of the reservoir rock sample and the oil sample of the field being developed. At the same time, the minimum value of the volume of NGL is admissible and the minimum value of the volume of the gas agent is acceptable, which ensures under the given conditions (viscosity 0.41 mPa⋅s, reservoir temperature 92 ° С) the maximum possible miscibility of the system consisting of reservoir oil, a mixture of light hydrocarbons and gas agent - a model product of in-situ transformation of air. The condition for achieving the maximum possible level of miscibility of the system corresponds to the achievement of the maximum possible oil displacement coefficient for the tested samples of reservoir rock and oil. Thus, a series of laboratory tests is carried out with variable values of injected volumes of NGL and a gas agent, a product of in-situ transformation of air.
2.The results of the experiment are given in table. 1, tab. 2.
Thus, the volume of NGL equal to 10% of the pore volume of the reservoir rock, and the volume of the gas agent equal to 120% of the pore volume of the reservoir rock, correspond to the achievement of the maximum possible level of miscibility of the system under these conditions and, accordingly, the maximum possible coefficient of oil displacement. In this case, the volume of the gas agent should be at least 120% of the pore volume of the reservoir rock.
The pore volume of the reservoir area, limited by wells No. 1 - No. 9 (see figure 1), is determined by the formula:
Vп=4*a*b*L*k, где:V p = 4 * a * b * L * k, where:
а и b - расстояния между скважинами (составляет 100 м),a and b - the distance between the wells (100 m),
L - толщина пласта (составляет 10 м),L is the thickness of the reservoir (10 m),
0,17).k is the coefficient of porosity of the reservoir (established as a result of studies of core material and is 0.17).
Vп=4*100*100*10*0,17=68000 м3.V p = 4 * 100 * 100 * 10 * 0.17 = 68000 m 3 .
The volume of oil in the reservoir in the area bounded by wells No. 1 - No. 9 (see figure 1) is determined by the formula:
Vн=Vп*S, гдеV n = V p * S, where
0,5).S is the oil saturation coefficient of the reservoir (established as a result of geophysical studies and is 0.5).
Vн=68000*0,5=34000 м3.V n = 68000 * 0.5 = 34000 m 3 .
According to the results of laboratory tests (Tables 1, 2), the following were pumped into injection wells No. 1 - No. 3 in equal proportions:
Vп*10%/100=68000*0,1=6800 м3 оторочки ШФЛУ иV p * 10% / 100 = 68000 * 0.1 = 6800 m 3 rim of NGL and
V n * 120% / 100 = 68000 * 120/100 = 81600 m 3 gas agent at a pressure of 250 atm or 81600 * 250 = 20,400,000 m 3 gas agent under normal conditions. Before air injection, the well was purged with nitrogen equal to five volumes of the wellbore.
The total amount of oil produced was 19,720 m 3 , which corresponded to a 58% oil recovery ratio. The actual oil recovery factor is lower than the oil displacement coefficient in laboratory tests due to reservoir heterogeneity.
A method for developing a low permeability oil well is carried out. The permeability of the formation is 0.001-0.002 μm 2 . Drilling a system of injection and producing wells is carried out in accordance with the scheme shown in figure 2. After hydraulic fracturing with the formation of a system of cracks and injection into the formed system of cracks of proppant, a certain volume of a wide hydrocarbon fraction (BFLH) is pumped into the formation through a production well. After that, an oxygen-containing agent (air) is injected into the formation through an injection well at a pressure of 230 atm.
The volume of BFLH necessary for injection into the reservoir is established during laboratory dynamic filtration tests of the reservoir rock sample and the oil sample of the field being developed. At the same time, the minimum value of the volume of NGL is admissible and the minimum value of the volume of the gas agent is acceptable, which ensures under the given conditions (viscosity 0.22 mPa⋅s, reservoir temperature 112 ° С) the maximum possible miscibility of the system consisting of reservoir oil, a mixture of light hydrocarbons and air as an oxygen-containing agent.
4.The results of the experiment are given in table. 3, tab. four.
Thus, the volume of NGL equal to 5% of the pore volume of the reservoir rock, and the volume of the gas agent equal to 120% of the pore volume of the reservoir rock, correspond to the achievement of the maximum possible level of miscibility of the system under these conditions and, accordingly, the maximum possible coefficient of oil displacement. In this case, the volume of the gas agent should be at least 120% of the pore volume of the reservoir rock.
The pore volume of the reservoir area limited by wells No. 1 to No. 4 (see figure 2) is determined by the formula:
Vп=π*r2*L*k, где:V p = π * r 2 * L * k, where:
r - расстояние между нагнетательной и добывающими скважинами (составляет 100 м),r is the distance between the injection and producing wells (100 m),
L - толщина пласта (составляет 10 м),L is the thickness of the reservoir (10 m),
0,19).k is the coefficient of porosity of the reservoir (established as a result of research of wells and core material and is 0.19).
Vп=3,14*1002*10*0,19=59660 м3.V p = 3.14 * 1002 * 10 * 0.19 = 59660 m 3 .
The volume of oil in the reservoir in the area limited by wells No. 1 - No. 4 is determined by the formula:
Vн=Vп*8, где:V n = V p * 8, where:
0,6).S is the oil saturation coefficient of the reservoir (established as a result of geophysical studies and is 0.6).
Vн=59660*0,6=35796 м3.V n = 59660 * 0.6 = 35796 m 3 .
According to the results of laboratory tests (Tables 3, 4), the following are pumped into injection well No. 5:
Vп*5%/100=59660*0,05=2983 м3 оторочки ШФЛУ иV p * 5% / 100 = 59660 * 0.05 = 2983 m 3 rim of NGL and
V p * 120% / 100 = 59660 * 120/100 = 71592 m 3 of gas agent at a pressure of 230 atm or 71592 * 230 = 16466160 m 3 of gas agent under normal conditions. Before air injection, the well was purged with nitrogen equal to five volumes of the wellbore.
The total amount of oil produced was 22194 m 3 , which corresponded to the oil recovery ratio of 62%. The actual oil recovery factor is lower than the oil displacement coefficient in laboratory tests due to reservoir heterogeneity.
Thus, the creation of preconditions for the formation of an in-situ transformation product of air, an inert gas agent, ensures the displacement of oil from low-permeability reservoirs and a decrease in filtration resistance to fluid movement in the formation by achieving the most complete miscibility between oil and gas.
The application of the proposed method will increase the degree of oil recovery from low-permeability formations by 20-40%, i.e. in cases where the traditional waterflooding method is ineffective.
Implementation of the proposed method will provide a solution to the problem of efficient oil production from low permeability (less than 0.02-0.010 microns) reservoirs.
