Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to poultry farming, and may find application in poultry farms.
At present, when outdoor growing poultry, wood sawdust, shavings, straw, and fiber peat are used as bedding material. Straw is the cheapest and most affordable material.
However, its use as a bedding for poultry rearing is limited due to the high damage of straw to microscopic fungi causing various diseases.
29/00).A well-known technical solution is a bed of straw for growing broiler chickens, which includes drying, cutting, laying straw on the prepared floor of the house with a layer 7-10 cm thick and its disinfection with formaldehyde. Additionally, a 95% propionic acid solution is used as a disinfectant at the rate of 15-25 ml per 1 kg of straw (Patent No. 2333637, published. 09/20/2008; IPC A01K 29/00).
The disadvantage of litter is that the plant material of straw quickly loses its sorption properties, which reduces the efficiency of use of such litter. In addition, as a result of a decrease in sorption properties, the litter has an unpleasant odor and contains pathogens of bird diseases.
1/015).Known absorbent material and litter for animals, in which the material with the calcium compound was mixed with plant fibers and the dry residue from the distillation of the escaping mother liquor from the plant for the production of aqueous ammonia soda and using aqueous ammonia was used to absorb soil fluid and animal litter (Patent for the invention of the Russian Federation No. 2291612, published on January 20, 2007, IPC А01К 1/015).
However, this litter is not effective enough, since it contains toxic elements that reduce the vital activity of animals.
23/00)The prototype is adsorption bedding for poultry. This litter is a bulk carpet, which includes thermally modified sawdust, horse peat and zeolite flour. The invention provides improved adsorption properties that contribute to the effective absorption of moisture and odors. (Patent 2446770, published. 06/15/2010; IPC A01K 1/015, A01K 23/00)
The disadvantage is the inaccessibility of some materials and their significant cost for the thermal modification of sawdust, grinding of zeolites.
The technical result. Simplification and improvement of litter composition, and reduction of bird incidence.
The technical solution lies in the fact that, unlike the prototype, the litter consists of zeolite-containing clay - alanite, crushed coniferous cones, non-germinated seeds of agricultural crops, dry matter of mountain herbs in the following amounts:
Глина-аланит - 20-25%;Clay-alanite - 20-25%;
Хвойные шишки - 15-20%;Coniferous cones - 15-20%;
Невсхожие семена сельскохозяйственных культур 10-15%;Dissimilar crop seeds 10-15%;
Mountain forbs (dry matter) - The rest.
Alanite - zeolite-containing clays of the North Ossetian deposit contain silicon 51-53%, aluminum 16-17%, iron 5-6%, calcium 30-33%, potassium 0.07%, phosphorus 0.38%, manganese 0 , 04%, sulfur - 0.98%, magnesium - 1.6%, as well as in small quantities: zinc, copper, cobalt and other trace elements. The reaction medium (pH) is 8.64 due to the high calcium content in alanite. Like all zeolite-containing clays, having sorption properties, it absorbs harmful substances and room odors, contain a complex of macro- and microelements that positively affect the animal’s body. Such a dose is justified by the chemical composition of alanite and its further use in a mixture with chicken manure and other organic substances as a fertilizer.
Spruce and pine cones, used in the experiment as a litter, contain lipids, tannins, multi-terpene carbohydrates, bioflavonoids, oleic acid, resins, carotenes, essential oils, tannins. Essential oils contain more than 20% pinene and pinin, many macro- and microelements, terpene compounds, biologically active substances (iron, chromium, copper, phytoncides). In combination, these elements have antimicrobial effects, providing reliable protection of birds from disease damage. The rationale for the selected parameters of the cones is explained by their content of essential oils and other antioxidant substances that reduce the incidence of birds.
The dissimilar seeds during the oxidation of lipids lose their ability to germinate, but contain a complex of substances useful for the body: starch, carbohydrates, vitamins, etc. In a number of seed-growing agricultural institutions, under the influence of a number of factors, the seeds lose their germination, which cannot be restored and such seed material is valuable as bedding and at the same time as bird food. But in the case of using bedding for fertilizer, along with litter is a valuable organic fertilizer. Seeds with such a composition is a nutrient for birds and at the same time when using bedding as a fertilizer, as an organic substance.
The collection of mountain herbs includes: mountain mint, lemon balm, St. John's wort, astragalus, immortelle and thyme, which are dried to a moisture content of 20-22% and are used as bedding, as a valuable antimicrobial substance. These plants contain the largest amount of ash (20.4%), fiber (33.6%), nitrogen-free extractives (17.3%), which enhances their preservation of biologically active substances, inhibit the development of mycotoxicoses and do not require constant updating of the litter. The justification of the selected parameters is explained by their chemical composition and proved by experimental studies. The results of the experiments are summarized in the table:
