Abstract
Description
Technical field
The group of inventions relates to a method for chemical removal of dye introduced under the skin, as well as to compositions for its implementation. The invention can be used to remove permanent makeup (tattoo) or tattoos.
State of the art
Widely known are methods for removing dyes introduced under the skin using laser radiation (see, for example, RF patent 2096052, 11/20/1997). However, this technology is painful and leads to significant trauma to the skin. In addition, with careless use, laser radiation can cause burns to the retina.
Known removal technology using removers - chemical compositions that ensure the extraction of the dye and its removal from the body.
U.S. Patent Application Publication No. US 2016367458, December 22, 2016 describes a method for removing permanent makeup and tattoos comprising treating a skin surface with a reducing composition reversing the staining process by breaking oxidative bonds and then treating the skin with an oxidizing composition to neutralize the reducing composition. Brief Description of the Drawings
The invention is illustrated by figures 1-13, which shows the results of the procedures for removing introduced under the skin dye using the claimed method and compositions.
The implementation of the invention
Согласно настоящему изобретению для обеспечения удаления красителя предлагается способ, предусматривающий проведение двух обязательных и одной дополнительной стадий (фаз):According to the present invention, to ensure the removal of the dye, a method is proposed, comprising two mandatory and one additional stages (phases):
- окисление красителя с помощью осветляющей композиции, вводимой под кожу,- oxidation of the dye using a brightening composition introduced under the skin,
- нейтрализация обрабатываемой поверхности посредством нейтрализующей композиции, наносимой на поверхность кожи,- neutralization of the treated surface by means of a neutralizing composition applied to the skin surface,
- дополнительное извлечение красителя и осветление поверхности с использованием регенерирующей композиции.- additional dye extraction and surface clarification using a regenerating composition.
The described combination of the first two stages ensures high efficiency of the procedure with minimal trauma. It should also be taken into account that, unlike the closest analogue, the brightening composition is introduced just under the skin, which, combined with subsequent processing, determines a fundamentally different mechanism of action of the agents used, described below.
The following are in more detail disclosed private variants of the compositions for implementing the invention. It should be borne in mind that in the framework of the claimed method can be applied to other compositions, the components of which can be selected by a specialist based on the principles described above.
1. Brightening composition
For the first stage of the procedure (clarification phase), a water-based clarifying composition is used, containing at least one oxidizing dye agent. As such agents, carboxylic acids are preferably used. However, it is possible to use other types of oxidizing agents known to those skilled in the art.
It was found that it is most preferable to use a combination of glycolic and lactic acids with a total content of not more than 11%. The specified percentage gives the result of gentle and effective removal of the dye from the skin without the risk of injury.
A single lactic acid does not provide a sufficiently effective result due to its characteristics associated with the risk of activation of the function of melanocytes, resulting in local hyperpigmentation as a result. However, in combination with glycolic acid, the moisturizing and brightening property and a small percentage of lactic acid eliminates side effects and works only on the extraction of the dye.
Mechanical damage to the skin allows the molecules of both acids to get into the basal layer of the dermis, where the permanent dye is located, and at its low concentration, work effectively by oxidizing and removing the pigment with the biological fluid to the outside. In this case, there is no trauma and skin irritation.
Экспериментально установлено максимальное время работы на открытом участке без признаков явной травматизации кожного покрова составляет 12-15 минут, но в среднем это время составляет 1-3 минуты (зависит от состояния кожи в целом).Lactic acid, destroying the hydrogen bonds that hold the cells together loosens the tissue, while neutralizing the dye. Glycolic acid does not penetrate deep, despite its small molecular weight, but performs a clarifying function on the enlarged surface due to edema. The principle of glycolic acid can be compared with the principle of the small intestine of a mammal: an enlarged, loosened uneven skin area gives the maximum possibility of processing the brightened area and the active extraction of permanent dye. The components that are included with the composition prevent glycolic acid from penetrating deeply and leave a burn. The maximum operating time in an open area without signs of obvious trauma to the skin was experimentally established is 12-15 minutes, but on average this time is 1-3 minutes (depending on the condition of the skin as a whole).
Preferably, the oxidizing agents contain 4.9-6.9 wt. % glycolic acid and 2.1-4.1 wt. % lactic acid. A small amount of lactic acid does not allow it to penetrate deep into the skin and protects against edema of the basement membrane and activation of the function of melanocytes. This property allows you to remove tattoo and tattoos from people who have freckles and age spots without much risk.
The oxidizing composition may also include a penetrating agent, a viscosity stabilizing agent, and an anti-inflammatory agent.
The penetrating agent conducts molecules of active substances into the deeper layers of the skin and, by combining the oxidizing agent, performs the function of “crosslinking”, allowing the oxidizing components to work grouped on a separate micro-site. The penetrating agent also performs a transport function, facilitating the fast coupling of acid molecules (oxidizing agents) with the molecules of the excreted dye, and acts as a solvent, partially mixed with the excreted pigment and contributing to a greater clarification of the damaged area.
%.As the penetrating agent, it is most preferable to use propylene glycol in an amount of 4.7-6.7 wt. %
Working on edematous loose tissue, propylene glycol binds fats and displaces fluid with dye particles in the upper layers of the epidermis. This effect allows you to climb up the permanent dye, which can be located quite deeply and is not always visible visually during the initial examination. Also, this property of propylene glycol prevents the deep penetration of glycolic acid, which, when reacted with a biological fluid and extracted dye, increases the molecular weight and is simply removed mechanically with a cotton swab. In this case, propylene glycol forms, in conjunction with other components of the composition, good moisture and protects the skin from trauma.
Propylene glycol can also be used to give the active components a microemulsion that reduces the friction force of the needle on the surface of the skin to be clarified and further protects against microtrauma and spreading oxidizing agents on intact skin. Acting as an emulsifier, propylene glycol does not allow the composition to decompose into individual components, while maintaining their activity.
%.An agent that stabilizes the viscosity of the composition protects the drug from spreading outside the processing zone. As a viscosity stabilizing agent, simple trihydric alcohols can be used, in particular glycerin, which is introduced in an amount of 0.5-2.2 wt. %
In addition to increasing viscosity, glycerol also provides the antiseptic properties of the composition. The ability to accelerate the metabolism in the upper layers of the epidermis also allows, in combination with other elements, to remove the pigment to the surface. It should also cancel the ability to wash out melanin with glycerin from the skin surface, which plays an additional role in clarifying the desired area. The introduction of a larger amount of glycerol into the drug is impossible because of its hygroscopicity, since the treated area will lose water and will disrupt the mechanism of action of the drug as a whole. Glycerin also contributes to the formation of a protective film on the surface of the skin at the time of the procedure, which allows to reduce the friction force and prevent microtrauma of the treated skin.
An anti-inflammatory agent is used to quickly restore the skin after the procedure. The relief of inflammatory processes is provided, the edema is removed and the infection is blocked from entering the skin during the procedure. Therefore, when using anti-inflammatory agents immediately after the procedure, redness, burns and other sharp skin reactions are not observed. As an anti-inflammatory agent, it is preferable to use patchouli essential oil. Its high ability to regenerate the skin also allows you to avoid scars, which allows you to work on a sufficiently thin traumatic skin, including previously subjected to a laser burn to remove pigment.
%:Thus, the brightening composition may have the following preferred composition, in wt. %:
окисляющие краситель агенты - 7-11;dye oxidizing agents - 7-11;
проникающий агент - 4,7-6,7;penetrating agent - 4.7-6.7;
0,5-2,2,the viscosity stabilizing agent of the composition is 0.5-2.2,
вода - остальное.water is the rest.
5.The clarifying composition has a pH of from 3 to 5.
2. The neutralizing composition.
For the second stage of the procedure (neutralization phase), a water-based neutralizing composition is used, the work of which is aimed at preventing the active oxidizing process of the clarifying composition having an acidic character.
Нейтрализующая композиция, содержит по меньшей мере один нейтрализующий агент, в частности триэтаноламин (ТЭА).The neutralizing composition contains at least one neutralizing agent, in particular triethanolamine (TEA).
Due to the fact that TEA combines the properties of amines and alcohols, it has the ability to enter into reactions characteristic of both groups. Being an amine, TEA has moderate alkaline properties and reacts with acids to form salts or saponifiers. Being an alcohol, TEA is hygroscopic and undergoes esterification. When neutralizing the oxidizing agent, TEA does not cause skin irritation even on the wound surface. In this case, the solution located on the surface of the skin loses its ability to penetrate the skin barrier, in contrast to free acids.
Diethanolamine having similar properties can also be used as a neutralizing agent.
%.The neutralizing agent is introduced into the neutralizing composition, preferably in an amount of 0.056-0.5 wt. %
An increase in the amount of a neutralizing agent can lead to an increase in the pH of the system to an extreme number of alkaline indicators, which can destabilize the entire preparation and cause additional harm to the wound surface.
The neutralizing composition may also optionally contain a penetrating agent, which can be used propylene glycol.
Propylene glycol provides the function of transporting a neutralizing agent throughout the depth of the oxidizing composition, allowing complete neutralization, while mitigating the effect of the neutralizing agent on the wound surface. In addition, in the composition of the neutralizing composition, propylene glycol also prevents crystallization and ensures stabilization of the solution and preservation of the pH of the medium.
The penetrating agent is preferably introduced into the neutralizing composition in an amount of 0.4-1.4 wt. % A change in the content of components in the composition in the direction of decreasing or increasing can lead to destabilization of the system, which is manifested in a shift in concentration and a decrease in its viscosity.
In addition, the neutralizing composition may further include an anti-inflammatory agent, for example patchouli essential oil.
%:Thus, the neutralizing composition preferably has the following composition, in wt. %:
нейтрализующий агент - 0,056-0,5;neutralizing agent - 0.056-0.5;
проникающий агент 0,4-1,4;penetrating agent of 0.4-1.4;
противовоспалительный агент - 0,056-0,2;anti-inflammatory agent - 0.056-0.2;
вода - остальное.water is the rest.
9.The neutralizing composition has a pH of from 7 to 9.
3. The regenerating composition.
To further remove the dye, a third step (regeneration phase) can also be carried out using a water-based regenerating composition containing at least one absorbent agent. Sodium chloride can be used as an absorbing agent.
In addition, the regenerating composition may also include an anti-inflammatory agent, in particular essential little patchouli and a penetrating agent, in particular propylene glycol.
%:The regenerating composition has, in particular, the following composition, in wt. %:
40-45,absorbent agent - 40-45,
0,4,1,4,penetrating agent - 0,4,1,4,
0,056-0,2,anti-inflammatory agent 0.056-0.2,
вода - остальное.water is the rest.

The procedure begins with skin cleansing with an aqueous solution of chlorhexidine or a non-alcoholic disinfectant wipe. Skin lubrication with various creams and petroleum jelly is not carried out, since the oxidizing agent of the brightening composition may react with them and lose its properties. The skin is anesthetized 15 minutes before the start of the procedure with an agent that does not have adrenaline in its composition. This is due to the fact that physiological edema provides an additional protective barrier in the form of increased blood flow on the wound surface (blood and lymph) and increases the area of pigment extraction from the skin. Blood and lymph, performing additional protective functions, contribute to the correct penetration of the clarifying composition to the depth of the dye and does not allow it to penetrate to an undesirable level where the pigment no longer lies. Therefore, when removing unwanted pigment, edema and blood with the function of transporting the pigment from the depth (blood flow) play an important role.
The procedure can also be performed without anesthesia.
The area of dye removal in one procedure in order to avoid excessive trauma to the skin, preferably should not exceed 1.5 cm 2 on the face, however, processing up to 4 cm 2 on the body is allowed, which relates to artistic tattoos.
The clarification phase.
The principle of action of the brightening composition is to create the necessary to lighten edema by mechanical damage to the skin.
The brightening composition is applied to the place of the stained area of the skin with the device used for tattooing. A thin acupuncture needle (unit) is used. Thin needles used for acupuncture with a diameter of 0.25 mm and a length of up to 5 cm can be used, depending on the modification of the machine model, from which the spring base is cut off. Work is carried out at the minimum speed of the device used. It is better not to use bundle needles, since accuracy and pressure are lost during the work performed. However, when removing tattoos, it is necessary to work on the contrary with a wide needle to minimize damage.
A small drop of brightening composition is applied with light scratching movements without pressure and vibration to the desired area. The procedure is similar to simulating the introduction of dye, but its task is to extract the pigment.
Pigment exit and lightening of the area occur already at the beginning of the procedure. Blood, lymph and dye come out of the treated area. To work, you need cotton pads that remove output products. Pigment colors are usually visible on discs, usually from black-blue to brown-yellow.
The working time in the skin in the clarification phase is from 20 seconds to 3 minutes, depending on the area, type of skin, general assessment of the condition, pain threshold. Acidic environment is preserved on the treated skin, therefore it is necessary to wipe the skin carefully, limiting the area. If the slightest violations of the skin in the form of wounds, “wetting”, blood films become noticeable during work, the work stops and conducts a neutralization phase. 2-3 passes are allowed, complex areas on the eyes and lips are treated partially and in small areas.
The phase of neutralization.
The neutralization phase is carried out by treating the skin surface with a neutralizing composition. It has been experimentally found that to neutralize one part of the brightening composition, approximately 1.5-2 parts of the neutralizing composition are necessary. Therefore, in the neutralization phase, the area of the treated surface in comparison with the clarification phase is increased by 1.5-2 times. Accordingly, the ratio of the amounts of oxidizing and neutralizing compositions is 1: 2. This ensures that the skin is protected from accidental contact with the oxidizing agent on areas of the skin that do not contain a permanent dye, and complete neutralization of the brightening composition.
After treatment with a neutralizing composition, the pH on the skin becomes neutral, the output of red non-oxidized blood is characteristic. This means that the first phase is completed. The second phase does not require application, the composition is wiped with a disinfectant cloth.
The effectiveness of the work depends on the original color, its depth and density, and the zone on which it is necessary to carry out the work. Based on these indicators, the number of necessary procedures is calculated.
The regeneration phase.
The regeneration phase is carried out by treating the skin surface with a regenerating composition that performs an absorbent function, drawing liquid with pathogenic microflora from the tissue and additionally cleaning the wound along with the pigment located on the surface. Therefore, in the first 2-3 days, the use of wound healing preparations does not represent a need.
Processing is carried out locally on the brightened area. On the third and fourth day, wound healing ointments are used.
Further recovery after each procedure takes from 3 weeks to three months, depending on the individual characteristics of the skin and the correctness of the procedure, age.
All this time hyperemia, swelling, and preservation of the wound surface can be observed. It is not recommended to resort to a repeated clarification procedure of the previously established time necessary for the regeneration of the clarified area.
1.The intervals between the procedures according to table 1 should be followed.

The indicated results of the performed procedures demonstrate significant advantages of the claimed invention in comparison with the known analogues. The proposed method shows a high percentage of pigment output even in one procedure. The skin is not deformed, healing in all cases is very fast and without inflammation. Since the principle of the method is aimed at the planned edema during the procedure, it is possible to use it by people who are intolerant to lidocaine, adrenaline and other medicinal components used in local external anesthesia. The quick reaction of the compounds with respect to the dye gives good results, even with a single pass, without causing much discomfort in people. The work is carried out without significant trauma, pain is significantly reduced compared to the laser method. Also reduces the number of procedures required for the complete disappearance of the unwanted dye from 10-15 to 1-4. The method is also characterized by ease in monitoring the process, since in any doubt, you can quickly neutralize the treated area. The obvious visual effect already during the procedure, favorably affects the moral and psychological state of the patient. The belief in a successful outcome is increasing.
