Abstract
Description
The invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in switching power converters.
The known / 1 / method of controlling an N-phase pulse DC-DC converter, which consists in generating and supplying N power blocks of control pulses that are parallel-connected and vary in duty cycle depending on the required output voltage. The disadvantage of this method is the large loss of energy due to large ripples of the output voltage, since N power blocks are controlled synchronously.
The closest in essence to the invention is a method / 2, 3 / for controlling an N-phase pulse DC-DC converter, which consists in generating and supplying N power blocks of control pulses that are parallel-connected and vary in duty cycle depending on the required value of the output voltage and shifted from each other for a time equal to 1 / Nf, where f is the frequency of these pulses, and in monitoring the state of the power phase blocks. This prototype method has the disadvantage of a relatively degraded voltage quality and increased energy losses in the partial failure mode, since when a part of the units becomes inoperative in the output voltage, the voltage ripple increases significantly.
The technical result of the invention is to reduce energy loss and improve voltage quality.
1/(N-m)f.The claimed result is achieved due to the fact that upon detection of m power unit failures, the mutual pulse shift is set to 1 / (N-m) f.
In FIG. 1 shows a diagram for implementing the method.
The
The method is implemented as follows.
As can be seen from the diagram, the level of ripple of the output voltage is thus reduced.
