Abstract
Description
The invention relates to radars for detecting conventional and stealth targets.
Known radar Staroverov pat. No. 2429502, which is a passive radar-receiver (hereinafter referred to as “receiver”), and the active radar-emitter (hereinafter referred to as “radiator”) necessary for its operation, which are not interconnected, is known. Such a radar is practically invulnerable to the enemy, but it mainly determines the direction to the target and approximately its course and speed of its movement. The difficulty with using such a radar is determining the range to the target, at least approximately. To do this, according to insufficient data, this radar solves a certain problem of constructing a triangle "emitter-receiver-target".
In this scheme, the radar receiver on an airplane can use the radiation of another emitter, third, fourth, fifth, etc. And vice versa - one emitter can serve with its radiation several tens of consumers - fighters, air defense installations, satellites.
№2429602).The objective and technical result of the invention is the determination of the distance from the radar receiver to the radar emitter (with the subsequent determination of the distance from the radar receiver to the stealth target according to the algorithm and using structural units of Pat. No. 2429602).
For sure rocket launch, you need to know at least an approximate range to the target.
METHOD. To find out the distance from the emitter to the receiver, you can use the "simple" method - you must have a synchronized high-precision clock on the emitter and receiver. The method consists in the fact that, together with the radiation pulse, the radar-emitter provides a radio signal about the exact time of sending this pulse, which on the receiver radar is compared with the exact time of arrival of this pulse, and the distance from the receiving radar to the radar is calculated from the received time difference emitter.
To synchronize the clock, a synchronizing pulse is used, which is supplied from a radio transmitter equidistant from the radar-emitter and from the location of the mobile radar-receiver (i.e., from the airfield), or two synchronizing pulses are used, supplied from an arbitrary radio transmitter - separately for the radar-emitter and separately for the radar-receiver, with a time difference corresponding to the difference in distances from an arbitrary radio transmitter to them, and to a farther radar with nhroniziruyuschy pulse is supplied earlier.
As a special case, two synchronizing pulses can be supplied from the radar-emitter or from the radar-receiver. In this case, the second impulse is actually supplied to "oneself."
DEVICE. To implement this method, the radar-emitter and the radar-receiver have a synchronized high-precision clock and a computer that multiplies the time difference by the speed of light.
The accuracy of the watch should be such that in one hour the “departure” of the watch is no more than 1 / 100,000 s, that is, so that the error in distance is no more than 3 km.
The method and device work as follows: for example, a radar emitter located in a given area 100 km from the receiver-radar (from the airfield) gives a clock pulse to start the clock on the receiver-radar, and starts its clock after 1/3000 s . That is, in absolute terms, the clock goes synchronously.
№2429502.When a radiation pulse is applied, the radar-emitter (simultaneously or a little earlier or a little later to weaken the interference from the pulse) transmits the exact time of sending the pulse via a radio channel at a different frequency. Having received a pulse (or another signal simultaneously with it) and received the time of its sending, the receiver-radar computer multiplies the time difference by the speed of light and receives the distance from the radar-emitter to itself. Further calculations of the range to the target are carried out according to US Pat. No. 2429502.
After applying a synchronizing pulse, the ground radar can, within certain limits, change its location along a line or in a strip perpendicular to the intended area of the air battle. The calculation of the distance between the emitter and the receiver will give an insignificant error, but the ground-based radar will avoid being hit by an enemy radar missile.
