Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of water treatment, in particular to multi-stage water treatment, and can be used to produce drinking water by purifying natural surface and groundwater to drinking standards.
Centralized water supply systems, currently serving the urban and rural population of the country and oriented, as a rule, to surface sources, quite often supply household and drinking water that does not meet hygienic requirements for a number of indicators (standard for taste, color, smell and turbidity), according to the content of iron and manganese ions, oil products and phenol, as well as microbiological indicators.
Microbial contamination of drinking water is one of the most common causes of mass diseases with acute intestinal infections (dysentery, enterocolitis, typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, viral hepatitis A and E), as well as other enterovirus infections.
The main reason for the decrease in the quality of water supplied to the population is the increasing pollution of natural waters, while the existing technological schemes for water treatment do not fully ensure that the water meets the established requirements for epidemic safety, especially when it is contaminated with viruses and intestinal protozoa. All these problems require the improvement of generally accepted, development and use of fundamentally new technologies for the purification and disinfection of drinking water.
A known method of processing natural water described in the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2188169 for the invention: "Method for producing drinking water", IPC C02F 9/12, priority from 11/29/2001, including its filtration, pre-treatment, sterilization with UV radiation and subsequent silver ion conditioning. Preliminary treatment is carried out by chlorination, sterilization is carried out by pulsed UV radiation of a continuous spectrum, in at least one submersible type using xenon lamps, mainly generating UV radiation with a wavelength of 200-400 nm, with specific energy consumption of 1-10 J per 1 cm 3 water and a flux density of 1-10 W / cm2. Air conditioning is carried out using a solution containing diammaminargenate ions [Ag (NH3) 2] + obtained by electrolysis of water in an electrolyzer with periodic polarity reversal of electrodes containing at least 99 wt. % silver, and the subsequent introduction of gaseous ammonia or ammonia water under the condition of a 3-5% excess of ammonia relative to stoichiometry, while this solution is dosed in water in an amount corresponding to a silver concentration in it of 0.001-0.02 mg / l, and observe the ratio of the concentration of chlorine introduced in the chlorination stage, and the concentration of silver added in the last stage, in the range of 100-500: 1, respectively.
A disadvantage of the known technical solution is its complexity and high cost associated with the use of a significant amount of silver in water treatment.
The closest analogue of the method claimed as an invention is the technical solution described in the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2220115 for the invention: "Method for producing drinking water", IPC C02F 9/12, priority dated December 26, 2002.
The known method includes primary treatment of the source water with ultraviolet radiation, physicochemical water treatment, including reagent treatment with a coagulant — aluminum sulfate and a flocculant, clarification, filtering through quartz sand, sorption on activated carbon, and disinfection with sodium hypochlorite. The primary treatment of the source water is carried out by ultraviolet irradiation with an ultraviolet dose of 30 mJ / cm 2 , polyacrylamide in the amount of 0.05-0.2 mg / dm 3 is used as a flocculant. Clarification is carried out by passing water through a layer of foam cubes or expanded polystyrene, filtering is carried out through quartz sand with a grain size of 0.3-1.5 mm and gravel from 2 to 32 mm, sorption is carried out on granular activated carbon with a grain size of 0.5-5 mm
One of the shortcomings of the closest analogue is that the initial treatment of the source water with ultraviolet radiation does not ensure its disinfection, as it is a technological process aimed at suppressing biological objects (phyto- and zooplankton, microorganisms) in order to prevent biofouling and the development of microbiological objects on technological equipment, that is, at the first stage, the use of ultraviolet radiation is purely technological in nature, not related to the effect of the finishing disinfection life, used to achieve a disinfecting effect according to microbiological indicators corresponding to SanPiN.
In addition, the method described in the closest analogue does not allow to evaluate the effectiveness of water disinfection, which is determined by its compliance with the standards for microbiological and parasitological indicators, since the process of completion of disinfection and cleaning is characterized only by a quantitative indicator - the value of free residual chlorine equal to 0.03 mg / l
The technical problem to which the present invention is directed is the creation of a method that provides high quality treatment and disinfection of natural waters.
2.The problem is solved in that in a method of combined treatment of natural water, including primary treatment of the source water with ultraviolet radiation, physicochemical treatment, which is used as a coagulant aluminum sulfate and clarification of water by sedimentation, as well as disinfection with sodium hypochlorite, according to the invention, after physically - chemical treatment, the water is subjected to secondary treatment with ultraviolet radiation, and then disinfection is carried out with sodium hypochlorite at a concentration of 7 mg / l for 60 minutes and settling it, at least to a residual chlorine value of 0.4 mg / l, and the ultraviolet radiation flux density during primary and secondary treatment of water is 75 mJ / cm 2 .
The drawing shows a block diagram of the purification of natural water, illustrating the inventive method.
The following are examples of the implementation of the claimed method.
At the first stage of purification (

The technical advantage of the inventive method is that in the process of purifying natural water, a 100% disinfecting effect is achieved due to the formation of a synergistic effect based on a combination of ultraviolet irradiation and sodium hypochlorite at the final stage of purification. In this case, the synergistic effect is formed precisely due to the sequence of actions in which ultraviolet irradiation is first carried out and then sodium hypochlorite solution is dosed, which allows providing residual chlorine in the final product. Thus, with the claimed sequence of water treatment, the process of dosing sodium hypochlorite with a concentration of 7 mg / l for 60 minutes and sedimentation of water, at least to a residual chlorine of 0.4 mg / l at the final stage, allows the final disinfection of water, while maintaining at the same time, a certain amount of residual chlorine is necessary for the further transportation of purified water through the pipeline in accordance with the requirements of SanPiN. In addition, the secondary treatment of water with ultraviolet radiation with a flux density of 75 mJ / cm 2 allows you to neutralize a large number of bacteria and microbes and, thereby, reduce the dose of sodium hypochlorite required for water treatment at the last stage of treatment, as well as to avoid an overdose of sodium hypochlorite. At the same time, in the closest analogue, only primary treatment of the source water with ultraviolet radiation is used, which does not ensure its disinfection, since it is a technological process aimed at suppressing the biofouling of equipment and pipelines formed due to the presence of microorganisms, mucus and algae in natural water.
In addition, in the closest analogue there are no specific data on the concentration of sodium hypochlorite and the time of its exposure to the treated water, which does not allow us to assess the quality of disinfection of the final product.
As can be seen from the data given in the table, the quality of drinking water is not inferior to the quality of the closest analogue, and also meets the standards for microbiological and parasitological indicators, as well as the standards regulating the organoleptic properties of water.
