Из сырьевых компонентов (кварцевый песок, стеклобой, магнезит, сода, отходы металлургии и другое) подбирают шихтовой состав пигмента. Измельченные компоненты смешивают и сплавляют, расплав гранулируют в воду. Полученный гранулят размалывают совместно с фриттой бесцветных глазурей. Количество вводимого пигмента 5-40% от массы фритты глазури.
