Abstract
Description
There is a method of measuring the concentration of air ions, in which the measurement result is determined by the current generated by the ions deposited on the collecting electrode of the aspiration chamber, the high-voltage electrode of which is connected to the power supply unit of the chamber, and the collecting one is connected to the current meter (Tammet Kh.F. Aspiration method of spectrum measurement aeroions // Transactions on aeroionization and electroaerosols: Scientific West Tartus University - Tartu, 1967. - issue 195-234 p.). The disadvantage of this method is the low accuracy of the measurement, due to the strong influence of interference of various kinds and origin. The reason is that the input current measuring resistance is very large, in some cases, e.g., when measuring natural background aeroionic may reach value of 10 12 ohms.
Partially eliminate this disadvantage can be achieved by using the method of measuring the concentration of ions (Patent No. 2459309 for the invention. The method of measuring the concentration of ions and a device for its implementation H01J 47/04, published on 08/20/2012, bull. No. 23), which consists in periodic accumulation charge on the capacity of the suction chamber that occurs when ions of the test air are deposited on its collecting electrode for equal periods of time, and its subsequent measurement by recording the area of pulses that occur at the output of the input device during a discharge capacity of the suction chamber at its input resistance.
The disadvantage of the above method, adopted as a prototype, is the low measurement accuracy due to the significant influence of interference, especially interference from the supply voltage of 220 V, 50 Hz, on the measurement result.
The technical result to which the claimed invention is directed is to increase the accuracy of measuring the concentration of ions by reducing the influence of interference.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of measuring the concentration of ions, which consists in periodically accumulating charge on the capacity of the suction chamber when the ions of the test air are deposited on its collecting electrode for equal periods of time and then measuring it by measuring the parameters of the pulses that occur at the input of the input device during discharge the capacity of the suction chamber to its input resistance when the key is closed, connecting the collecting electrode of the camera to the input of the input device, a new phenomenon It is Busy that the ion concentration is determined by the magnitude of the first harmonic amplitude from the sequence of these pulses according to the equations:

The device operates as follows. When purging the test air through the suction chamber 2, the ions together with the studied air flow enter its working volume and, under the influence of the electrostatic field created by the high-voltage power supply of the
I=n·V·e,I = n · V · e,
2 b):where n is the measured ion concentration, [1 / cm 3 ], V is the volumetric gas flow through the suction chamber, [cm 3 / s], e = 1.6 · 10 -19 [C] is the charge of one ion (light air ions have a charge one electron). As a result, in the time interval (t 1 -t 2 ), the capacity of the collecting electrode of the camera begins to accumulate charge. Its value and voltage at this capacitance are determined respectively by the expressions (Fig. 2 b):
3.where Q 0 is the charge on the capacity of the collecting electrode of the camera to the moment of opening of the contacts of the

2 b):Considering that the voltage at the capacitance C of the collecting electrode of the chamber 2 will have the same values both at the time of closure of the

This signal is periodic with a period equal to T = T deputy + T times . Its frequency is determined by the expression: ω 0 = 2π / (T deputy + T times ). Denoting this signal as U (t) and expanding it into Fourier, it is possible to write the expression for it:
The first harmonic of this signal has the form:
где иWhere and
Amplitude the first harmonic of this signal is determined by the expression:
1). . From the above equations it can be seen that it is proportional to the current I = n · V · e, and therefore the measured ion concentration. In the future, in order to eliminate interference, this harmonic must be isolated, for example, by a band-pass filter, rectified by the rectifier of analog signals, and the ripple filtered by a low-pass filter. All these operations are carried out in the processing and display unit 6 (Fig. 1).
Thus, the proposed method for measuring the concentration of ions can significantly suppress interference and improve the accuracy of measurement. Moreover, the implementation of this method does not require significant hardware costs.
