Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of ice engineering, in particular to means for breaking the ice sheet.
- 355 с. ISBN 987-5-91327-017-7).It is known from the prior art to use hovercraft (SVP) for breaking the ice sheet in a resonant manner, i.e. by excitation in the ice sheet of resonant flexural-gravitational waves (IGW) when the vessel moves on ice at a resonant speed (1. Kozin VM Resonance method of ice cover destruction. Inventions and experiments. M.: Academy of Natural Sciences Publishing House. 2007. - 355 pp. ISBN 987-5-91327-017-7).
The disadvantage of this method is the insufficient amplitude of the IGW excited by the movement of the SVP.
The invention consists in increasing the amplitude of the IHV.
The technical result obtained by carrying out the invention is to increase the thickness of the ice sheet destroyed by the SVP.
The essential features characterizing the invention.
Restrictive: a method of destroying the ice cover of an hovercraft when it moves on ice at a resonant speed.
Distinctive: after resonant bending-gravitational waves are excited in ice, the vessel within the limits of the first trough of the waves moving behind it with the resonant speed of the waves is informed by additional periodic reciprocating movements in the direction of its movement with the frequency of the resonant bending-gravitational waves, while providing maximum movements within the trough waves, i.e. equal to half their length, and at the moment of repeated passage of the vessel the soles of the flexural-gravitational wave by its hull create vertical impacts on the ice cover with a frequency of resonant flexural-gravitational waves.
It is well known that if the wave (main) system is affected by periodic (additional) perturbations with its frequency, then as a result of interference of oscillations, the amplitude of the waves of the main system will increase. Thus, if, after the excitation of the system of resonant IHVs, an additional periodic dynamic load is applied to the ice cover with a frequency equal to the frequency of the resonant IHVs ω p , then the amplitude and, accordingly, the ice-breaking ability of the IHVs will increase.
The value of ω p can be determined by the dependence (2. Kheisin D.E. Dynamics of the ice cover. L .: Gidrometeoizdat. - 1967. 217 p.) where g is the acceleration of gravity; H - the depth of the reservoir; ρ l , h - density and thickness of ice; D is the cylindrical stiffness of the ice plate.
Л. It is known (3. Kozin V.M., Zemlyak V.L. Physical principles of ice cover destruction by the resonance method. Komsomolsk-on-Amur: IMiM FEB RAS; PTU named after Sholom-Alekheim; AmGPGU. - 2013, 250 p.), that the maximum deformations (the depth of the IGV depression), and hence the bending stresses in the ice cover, occur at the place of occurrence of the first IGV depression behind the SVP. Therefore, for a more effective increase in the amplitude of IGW, an additional periodic load should be applied in this place.
Obviously, the nature of the additional dynamic load can be very diverse. In our case, the proposed reciprocating motion of the SVP may be rational. In this case, due to the maximum increase in the wave resistance of the SVP at the inflection points of the IGV profile, i.e. the appearance of the maximum trim on the vessel, and the appearance of centrifugal forces on the sole of the IHV, favorable conditions will arise for increasing their amplitude.
There is no doubt that a vertical impact on the ice cover will cause not only the appearance of short-term deformations in it, but also lead to the appearance of bending vibrations in it, i.e. to the excitation of IGV. If these impacts are created periodically with a frequency of ω p , then a system of resonant IGWs arises in the ice sheet.
The method is as follows.
SVPs begin to move along the ice cover at a resonant speed. If the amplitude of the excited IGW turns out to be insufficient to destroy the ice cover, then after excitation in the ice of resonant IGW (IGW of maximum amplitude) moving with resonant speed, additional reciprocating movements begin to inform the vessel. These movements are reported in the direction of the initial movement of the vessel as maximum within the first depression of the IHV moving behind the SVP, i.e. equal to half their length and periodically with the frequency of resonant IHV. The fulfillment of these conditions will ensure the excitation of an additional system of IGV, the frequency of which will be equal to the frequency of the main resonant IGV ω p . The wave systems will turn out to be coherent and, as a result, able to interfere with each other, i.e. periodically increase their total amplitudes and, accordingly, the ice-breaking ability of IGV.
If this is not enough to destroy the ice cover, then simultaneously with the above maneuvering at the moment of repeated passage of the IGV sole by the vessel, i.e. places of maximum deflection of the ice cover, its body creates vertical impacts on ice. For this, the fan complex is turned off for a time sufficient for the ship to drop sharply onto ice, i.e. creation but hit him. After which the fan complex is turned on. Performing this operation when the vessel repeatedly passes through the sole of the IHV (half its length) will ensure the frequency of these strikes with the frequency of the resonant IHV. As a result, another system of resonant IGVs arises. Its superposition (interference) on a previously excited wave system will lead to an additional increase in the total amplitudes of the IGW and, accordingly, their ice-breaking ability.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing.
