Abstract
Description
The field of technology.
The invention relates to medicine, to methods and methods for performing surgical and plastic operations. In particular, the invention relates to medical materials used in plastic surgery for cosmetic surgery.
The prior art.
Surgical threads for cosmetic operations are known (J. Zoltan. Operating technique and conditions for optimal wound healing. Medicine, Budapest, 1977).
The threads are made of various materials: metal, polymer, biological. General characteristics of threads: strength, smooth surface, density, bioinertness. The threads should be well tied into knots when suturing the wound, should not stretch.
Depending on the nature of the operations, various surgical sutures are used (International conference “Modern approaches to the development of effective dressings, suture materials and polymer implants”, 1995 Moscow, Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery.). These are metal threads from wires: tantalum, silver, nickel, etc. Non-metallic threads are used from lavsan, nylon, nylon, polypropylene, vicryl, polysorb, etc. Monolithic, woven, twisted, and others are used.
All these well-known surgical sutures are characterized by one symptom: they can be pulled through soft tissues, such as skin, subcutaneous tissue, along the entire length back and forth.
This great advantage of surgical sutures in some plastic surgeries turns into a significant drawback. For example, when suturing a wound with an intradermal or subcutaneous continuous suture, to strengthen the ends of the thread at the beginning and at the end of the wound, it is necessary to impose nodal sutures or stick strips of plaster. This lengthens the operation time and complicates the process of removing the suture, and sometimes due to the instability of fastening the edges of the wound diverge.
Known methods for suturing wounds: nodular, mattress, continuous, etc. (Big Medical Encyclopedia, vol. 34, pp. 894-902, ed. "Soviet Encyclopedia", 1964).
For example, when performing a continuous intradermal suture with smooth threads, the suture is usually straightened along the length of the wound line. In this case, the end result is a maximally long scar, which is undesirable from an aesthetic point of view.
However, during suturing of the wound with uniform dressing of the skin along the length of the wound line, a shorter scar can be obtained. If you use smooth threads, it is impossible to achieve uniform corrugation of the wound line along the length: the skin sticks more along the edges, remaining more straightened closer to the center, which is why necrosis of more gathered tissues and an unfavorable scar form are likely. Meanwhile, if we use threads with one-way patency in the tissues of this invention for these purposes, you can get a uniform, moderate corrugation of the skin along the entire length of the wound and, accordingly, get a shorter scar.
Disclosure of the invention.
The present invention is based on the task of creating a surgical suture for cosmetic operations with one-way patency, which provides fastening of the ends of the suture when suturing wounds with subcutaneous and intradermal sutures without additional actions and devices, and also allows high-quality suturing of wounds with a reduction in the length of the scar.
The problem is solved in that the surgical thread for cosmetic operations, made of metal, polymer or biological material, according to the invention is made with sequentially arranged along its length inclined protrusions with pointed ends directed opposite to the stretching of the thread, with the protrusions located on the free end of the thread, directed with pointed ends opposite the first protrusions.
It is advisable that the protrusions of the thread were made with alternating the cross section of the thread from one to four positions, while the excess of the ends of the protrusions over the thread should be at least the diameter of the thread, and the interval between the protrusions should not be less than 1.5 diameters of the thread.
It is advisable that the protrusions of the thread were made in the form of notches on the threads with ends bent over its diameter.
Alternatively, the inclined protrusions can be made in the form of needles with couplings for attaching them to the threads.

The main embodiment of the invention.
In FIG. 3 inclined protrusions of the
All these parameters of the protrusions and their implementation are dictated by the need to preserve the tensile strength of the thread, ensuring the elasticity of the ends of the protrusions and their good engagement for subcutaneous tissue, preventing the reverse movement of the thread.
4.A diagram of the sutured wound by the subcutaneous
The
An effective way of using a surgical suture with one-way patency is shown in FIG. 5 during surgery with a reduction in the surgical scar. The method consists in the fact that the
At each puncture, needles, for example 12 and 13, pull the thread in the opposite direction, while the
