Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of research of coal resistance to temperature effects - heat resistance. Given the relationship between the heat resistance of coal and their tendency to oxidize, it can also be used to evaluate the latter.
G01N 3/60, G01N 3/56. 10.08.1998).A known method of testing materials for heat resistance, namely, that the surface of the test material sample is subjected to cyclic heat exposure, including heating and subsequent cooling, the surface of the test material sample is controlled, and the heat resistance of the material is judged by the number of heat exposure cycles until cracks appear on the surface in this case, after cooling, the material layer with a thickness corresponding to the intensity is periodically removed from the surface of the material sample the evidence of material wear during operation, and the surface of the test material sample is controlled after removing the material layer from the sample surface after a specified number of heat exposure cycles or after each cycle (RF Patent No. 2117274, CL G01N 3/60, G01N 3/56. Publisher .: 08/10/1998).
The disadvantage of this method is that it is not applicable to the study of initially fractured and significantly structurally heterogeneous materials, which, in particular, include coal.
G01N 3/60. 15.12.1982).The closest in technical essence to the present invention relates to a method for determining the heat resistance of products, which consists in the fact that the corresponding sample is subjected to two consecutive thermal shock, the second of which has a higher intensity than the first, the parameters of the acoustic emission arising from this are recorded and the thermal stability is judged by them sample, the orientation of which with respect to the heat source generating the thermal shock is kept constant throughout the entire test (Copyright etelstvo USSR №981869, Cl. G01N 3/60. Publ .: 15.12.1982).
The disadvantage of this method is its low accuracy in determining the heat resistance of coal.
The noted drawback is due to the fact that the level of acoustic emission recorded during the heating of coal samples is determined by the size of the latter, the initial, as well as the fracture acquired during transportation and sample preparation, the content of physically and chemically bound moisture in the test coal, its brand and, in fact, thermal degradation geomaterial under consideration. Thus, in coal samples with the same heat resistance of the material, but, for example, with different sizes, moisture contents and material composition of inclusions, the absolute value of the level of acoustic emission used as an informative indicator in the known method will vary significantly. At the same time, it is not possible to separate the contribution to the total level of acoustic emission of the interference and useful components of the measurement information.
В настоящей заявке решается задача разработки способа определения термостойкости угля, обеспечивающего повышение надежности и точности этого определения путем исключения влияния на его результаты размера, трещиноватости, вещественного состава включений и влагосодержания образца, не соответствующих в целом свойствам представленного этим образцом геоматериала (партии угля).This application solves the problem of developing a method for determining the heat resistance of coal, which improves the reliability and accuracy of this determination by eliminating the influence on its results of size, fracture, material composition of inclusions and moisture content of the sample, which generally do not correspond to the properties of the geomaterial represented by this sample (coal batch).
To solve the problem in the method for determining the heat resistance of coal, which consists in the fact that the corresponding sample is subjected to two consecutive thermal shock, the second of which has a higher intensity than the first, the parameters of the acoustic emission arising from this are recorded and the thermal stability of the sample is judged from them, the orientation of which with respect to the heat source creating thermal shocks, they are kept constant throughout the entire test; acoustic emission parameters are recorded at the heating stages and at the stages of cooling the sample after each of the thermal shocks, while all these stages are carried out until the acoustic emission decreases to the background values, the boundaries of the time intervals corresponding to the regions of peak values of the acoustic emission activity during the second heating and cooling cycle are determined when its level is not less than one and a half times higher than the background noise level, and in each of these intervals the average values of the acoustic emission activity are calculated, and the image of heat resistance and coal is judged by said relation values obtained in the heating and cooling stages.
The technical result of the invention is to increase the reliability and accuracy of the results of determining the heat resistance of coal.
The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the proposed method for determining the heat resistance of coal eliminates the influence on the results of this determination of such interference factors as moisture content, size, material composition of inclusions and fracture of the coal sample.
The proposed method is based on experimental laws of acoustic emission established by the authors under cyclic thermal shock and subsequent natural cooling of coal samples from the Tallinn coal mine (Taiga field, grade D and Erunakovsky field, grade G), as well as the Kaltansky coal mine (grade TP). The essence of these patterns is the dependence of the ratio of average activities over a certain period of time acoustic emission of coal when it is heated and cooling on the degree of thermal destruction, which is understood as the destruction of structural bonds of micron and higher levels under the influence of temperature fluctuations.
The information on the dynamics of disturbance of coal samples under thermal shock used to verify the results of acoustic emission tests was obtained by optical microscopy performed on the corresponding samples before and after their thermal loading. Although this method allows you to control only some part of the surface of the samples, i.e. it does not allow us to assess the state of their entire volume; nevertheless, it allowed us to qualitatively rank the latter according to the dynamics of their specific fracturing. Dependencies constructed in this way for each of the considered grades of coal, along one axis of which the specific fracture ratio was postponed before and after the test of the sample, and on the other, the ratio activities of acoustic emission of coal during its heating and cooling showed a correlation ratio η in the range from 87% to 93%. The highest value η = 93% was obtained for brand G coals.
The method for determining the heat resistance of coal is illustrated in FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, which show as an example the characteristic experimentally obtained time distributions of 1 activity AE as a function of temperature dynamics of 2 coal samples. Temporary regions corresponding to extremely high values of acoustic emission activity used to calculate its average value are designated as region A (second thermal shock) and region B (cooling after a second thermal shock, more intense than the first). The boundaries of these areas are chosen so that the level of activity of acoustic emission on them is not less than one and a half times higher than the level of background noise.
The analysis of FIG. 1-3 and similar thermoacoustograms obtained on other samples showed that although the more intense the destruction, the level of activity of acoustic emission is proportionally higher, however, the absolute value of its level, in addition to thermal degradation of the test geomaterial, is also affected by moisture content, size, fracture and other parameters of each specific sample. Moreover, the process of moisture removal by the number and power of acoustic emission pulses caused by it blocks the useful signal from thermal destruction of coal. Therefore, the level of activity of acoustic emission during the first heating (thermal shock) of a coal sample does not allow to evaluate its heat resistance.
Следовательно, рассчитав отношение активностей акустической эмиссии угля при его нагреве и остывании можно получить безразмерный коэффициент ktd термической стойкости, показывающий соотношение структурных связей, разрушенных и сохранившихся при колебании температур (термоударе).However, if the first of the thermal effects is carried out until the sample is heated to a temperature of at least 100 ° C and for a time sufficient to reduce the level of acoustic emission to background values, which means the termination of any thermally caused processes in it, then it can reasonably be argued that during the second heating cycle carried out with a higher intensity, moisture removal does not occur, since almost all the water originally contained in the sample was removed before it started, during the first thermal shock. Accordingly, the level of acoustic emission activity during the second thermal shock reflects precisely the number of structural bonds that are destroyed under the influence of temperature fluctuations. Obviously, this amount varies depending on the size and fracture of the sample, as well as the grade of coal, so it must be normalized with respect to the number of structural bonds remaining intact after thermal shock. When the sample cools, when the geomaterial is released from the action of thermal loads, such bonds emit acoustic emission pulses due to the return to the initial unstressed state. Therefore, calculating the ratio of acoustic emission of coal during its heating and cooling, it is possible to obtain a dimensionless coefficient k td of thermal stability, showing the ratio of structural bonds that are destroyed and preserved during temperature fluctuations (thermal shock).
At k td <0.5, the coal sample is considered thermally stable and resistant to oxidation. Coals with k td in the range up to 0.5 to 1.0 belong to the class with medium heat resistance and oxidation resistance. At k td > 1.0, the coal sample is characterized as thermally unstable and not resistant to oxidation.
4).The method for determining the heat resistance of coal is implemented as follows (see Fig. 4).
12.Each of the tested samples of
A-Line 32D.Next, the
During the test, the sample is subjected to two consecutive thermal shock, which is understood as heating at a speed in the range from 5 to 15 ° C / min. The first thermal shock is carried out so that the maximum temperature T max I of the heating of the sample is over 100 ° C, but not more than 140 ° C. The value of the maximum temperature T max II of the second thermal shock is selected from the expression T max II = T max I + (30 ÷ 50) ° С.
The sample is heated until the following conditions are met: 1) the level of acoustic emission decreased to background values not less than one and a half times lower than the level of acoustic emission recorded during the first 10 minutes of thermal shock; 2) at least 20 minutes have passed since the start of heating the sample. Under these conditions, the heating elements are turned off and the sample is allowed to cool naturally for at least 20 minutes. After this, the next cycle of thermal loading is carried out in the same way.
In parallel with thermal shock, holding the sample at a given temperature and cooling it, the activity of acoustic emission is continuously recorded.
Находят величину отношения .For the second heating and cooling cycle in time intervals when the level of acoustic emission exceeded the background level by at least one and a half times, the values of the average acoustic emission activities are calculated respectively. Find the ratio .
Thus, the proposed method for determining the heat resistance of coal by eliminating the influence of moisture content, size, fracturing and the material composition of the inclusions of the samples on the results of this determination provides an increase in the accuracy and reliability of the results of the latter.
