Abstract
Description
Изобретение относится к космической технике, а именно к экранам для защиты космического аппарата от высокоскоростного ударного воздействия техногенных частиц и метеороидов.The invention relates to space technology, and in particular to screens for protecting a spacecraft from high-speed shock from technogenic particles and meteoroids.
Currently, various protective coatings and screens are used to protect spacecraft from high-speed particles, in the collision with which these particles lose their energy. The most effective protection is achieved by installing the screen at a certain distance in front of the protected wall. The screen provides fragmentation of the projectile – obstruction system at cosmic impact velocities, and the transverse expansion of fragments after the screen reduces the density of the pulse flux on the protected wall. A further development of this technology is the use of several spaced screens, on each of which the particle loses part of its energy and is divided into smaller fractions diverging behind the screen.
Традиционно защитные экраны выполняются негибкими (например, патент РФ 2457160 от 03.03.2011, B64G 1/56), что препятствует их использованию в составе трансформируемых космических конструкций.Traditionally, protective screens are inflexible (for example, RF patent 2457160 dated 03.03.2011,
To solve this problem (as part of the creation of transformable space modules), American experts proposed the use of a multilayer anti-meteoroid protection, consisting of fabric protective screens and inter-screen separators. Such anti-meteoroid protection is built into the shell of the transformable space module and, according to preliminary estimates, provides the required level of protection against impact of meteoroids. For example, in the transformable space module TransHab, developed by HACA, protection against meteoroids is provided using five spaced screens made of Nextel fabric layers of material, which are separated by foam spacers.
Наиболее близким аналогом к заявленному защитному экрану, выбранным в качестве прототипа, является тканевый защитный экран, состоящий из нескольких слоев технической ткани из высокопрочных волокон (Nextel (Некстел), Kevlar (Кевлар) и др.).The closest analogue to the claimed protective screen, selected as a prototype, is a fabric protective screen consisting of several layers of technical fabric made of high-strength fibers (Nextel (Nextel), Kevlar (Kevlar), etc.).

The problems solved by the invention are to increase the efficiency of protection while ensuring the possibility of protection of transformable objects deployed in space, in particular inflatable space modules. At the same time, the flexibility of the screen allows to significantly reduce its overall dimensions in the transport state and on the launch site due to compact stacking with subsequent deployment to a working configuration in orbit. It is also possible to use a screen to protect spacecraft with a complex surface configuration.
Указанные задачи обеспечиваются тем, что предлагаемый защитный экран выполнен из композиционного материала, состоящего из мелкодисперсного наполнителя из частиц по крайней мере одного порошка тяжелого металла с плотностью не менее 6000 кг/м3 с характерным размером частиц от 5 до 500 мкм и связующего из эластичного полимера, при этом массовое содержание порошка в композите составляет от 0,4 до 0,9.These tasks are ensured by the fact that the proposed protective screen is made of a composite material consisting of a finely divided filler of particles of at least one heavy metal powder with a density of at least 6000 kg / m 3 with a characteristic particle size of 5 to 500 microns and a binder made of an elastic polymer while the mass content of the powder in the composite is from 0.4 to 0.9.
На фиг. 1 схематично изображена структура защитного экрана,In FIG. 1 schematically shows the structure of a protective shield,
при этом:wherein:
1 - мелкодисперсный наполнитель;1 - finely divided filler;
2 - связующее из эластичного полимера.2 - binder from an elastic polymer.
The proposed protective screen made of composite material includes finely dispersed filler (1) (iron, copper, zinc, tungsten and other metals with a density of at least 6000 kg / m 3 ) uniformly distributed in a binder made of an elastic polymer (2) (for example, impregnating compositions based on organosilicon (silicone) or polyurethane compounds). The mass content of the powder in the composite should be in the range from 0.4 to 0.9. When the mass content of the powder in the composite is less than 0.4, the effective crushing of particles striking the screen is not ensured; when the content is more than 0.9, the resistance to cracking and the elasticity of the composite are not ensured, which leads to a deterioration in the protective properties of the screen. The characteristic particle size of the powder should be in the range from 5 to 500 microns. With a characteristic powder particle size of less than 5 μm, the required contact pressure on the impact particle is not achieved (the protective properties of the screen are worsened); with a characteristic size of more than 500 μm, crack resistance and the elasticity of the composite are not ensured, which leads to a deterioration in the protective properties of the screen.
В структуру композита может быть дополнительно введен армирующий слой (например, ткани на основе стеклянных, лавсановых или органических волокон), обеспечивающий повышение стойкости данного композита к нагрузкам, возникающим на этапах складывания и разворачивания трансформируемой конструкции (раздир, сгибание).A reinforcing layer can be added to the composite structure (for example, fabrics based on glass, dacron or organic fibers), which increases the resistance of this composite to the stresses that arise during the folding and unfolding of a transformable structure (tearing, bending).
The heavy metal powder in the screen structure provides increased (compared to the prototype and solid screens of aluminum alloys) contact pressure on the impacting particle, which, under the same conditions of impact, more effectively crushes and destroys the particle. The finely dispersed structure of the screen ensures the absence of large fragments when punching the screen (as compared to solid metal screens), and also provides the formation of a larger angle of expansion of finely dispersed fragments. The use of a binder made of an elastic polymer provides flexibility (without cracking after polymerization), comparable with fabric protective screens.
Tests were made on the breakdown of high-speed particles of several flat fragments of a multilayer transformable pressurized shell (MTGO) of a transformable space module. The MTGO included an anti-meteoroid protection consisting of four screens made of aramid fabric (technical fabric made of high-strength fibers) and inter-screen dividers made of foamed elastic open-porous material. According to the test results, the smallest particle diameter was determined, which ensures through penetration of MTGO at collision speeds of about 7 km / s. Replacing the first (on the side of the impact) anti-meteoroid screen of aramid fabric with equivalent mass plates made of composites with powders, for example, tungsten or zinc in a polymer matrix (two variants of the claimed protective screen) allowed to achieve the absence of through breakdown (integrity of the protected containment) with the same conditions.
