Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of engineering, in particular, to methods for high-temperature brazing of products, for example, flat thermoplates from aluminum and its alloys.
В23К 1/19, C21D 9/56).A known method of soldering, including assembling parts for soldering with laying between the parts of the solder in the form of a foil, heating the parts to a soldering temperature, holding at the soldering temperature, cooling and subsequent heat treatment, moreover, cooling the soldered parts is carried out to room temperature, and during heat treatment, the soldered parts are heated to temperature 5-40 ° C higher than the temperature of the nonequilibrium solidus of the applied solder, maintained at this temperature for 10-100 minutes, and then cooled to room temperature (RF patent No. 2443520, class B 23K 1/19, C21D 9/56).
This method is characterized by the high complexity of assembling parts for soldering aluminum structures having a complex contact surface of the connected parts.
A known method of soldering parts from aluminum alloys, including placing solder in the form of a cladding layer on the surface of one of the parts and subsequent soldering of parts (patent EP 1430988, class B23K 35/22, B23K 1/19, C22C 21/00) is the closest analogue .
The disadvantage of this method is the need for cladding a preform having a complex geometric shape, or deformation of the clad sheet to obtain the preform of the desired shape, which increases the complexity of manufacturing the structure and the likelihood of formation of non-solders due to the uneven distribution of solder on the connected surfaces (due to thinning of the thickness of the solder in the bend )
The technical result of the invention is to increase the operational characteristics of the resulting brazed structures by eliminating nepropae, increasing their service life, as well as increasing the range of soldered joints from aluminum alloys.
10:1The specified technical result is ensured by the fact that in the brazing method, which includes assembling the parts to be brazed and then brazing them, assembling the brazed parts for brazing is performed through a metal spacer (for example, from alloy alloy AMts, AD31, AB, etc., for soldering alloy AMts), having a tensile strength greater than or equal to the tensile strength of the material of the brazed parts, a layer of solder is applied to both sides of the spacer to ensure the thickness of the metal spacer with solder from 0.3 to 0.8 mm and the ratio of the thickness of the material of the spacer to the solder layer is applied nogo on one side of the spacer, ranging from 8: 1 to 10: 1
The proposed method of brazing aluminum alloys allows to reduce the complexity of assembling the product for soldering in comparison with the use of solder in the form of a foil when brazing structures with complex geometric dimensions and a flat brazed surface, for example, heat exchangers with internal channels of various kinds. In the case of using solder in the form of a foil, before soldering, it is necessary to cut out the elements of the solder corresponding to the geometry of the soldered products from a thin tape and fix them on the soldered surfaces. The use of a metal spacer coated on both sides with solder and corresponding to the geometrical dimensions of the soldered surface of the two parts will significantly reduce the complexity of the assembly operation, improve the quality of the assembly due to the guaranteed placement of solder in the gap and, as a result, ensure an increase in the quality of soldered structures. Along with this, the mechanical strength of the soldered construction will also be determined by the strength of the metal spacer used. Thus, to ensure equal structural strength, it is necessary that the tensile strength of the metal from which the metal spacer is made is greater than or equal to the tensile strength of the base metal of the brazed products.
During operation of the soldered structure, the thickness of the metal spacer will also affect its performance. If a spacer with a large thickness is used during soldering during operation under high internal pressure, destruction of the structure along the soldered seam is possible, since in this case significant shear deformations will occur along the spacer boundaries. In the case of using a thin spacer, it is possible to dissolve in the molten solder, which leads to the formation of various defects during the soldering process. It was experimentally determined that the optimal thickness of the metal spacer should be from 0.3 to 0.8 mm.
To form a high-quality soldered joint, the ratio of the thickness of the base metal of the metal spacer to the solder layer deposited on the surface of one of the sides should be from 8: 1 to 10: 1. In the case of a smaller ratio of the thicknesses of the base metal and the solder during the brazing process, there is a lack of solder and in some areas the absence of fillets due to the small amount of molten solder. If this ratio is exceeded, an excess of solder is formed during the soldering process, which can lead to the melting of channels and an increase in erosion of the soldered material.
The implementation of the claimed method will be clear from the example below.
ПримерExample
According to the claimed method, a batch (5 pieces) of flat thermal boards made of an AMts alloy with a size of 486 × 250 × 80 mm with 12 internal channels and a wall thickness between channels of 1.5 mm was made. The assembly before soldering was carried out using a metal spacer made of AMts alloy, clad on both sides with a solder based on 01315 alloy, 0.8 mm thick. The thickness of the clad layer of solder on the metal spacer was 0.08 mm (the ratio of the thickness of the metal spacer to the layer of solder was 9: 1). A metal spacer made in the form of a thermal plate cover was installed on the upper part of the housing with channels, and then a cover made of AMts alloy was installed on it. A load was installed on top of the assembled structure to tightly tighten the parts to be soldered.
The product was loaded into a UVP-1 vacuum furnace, in which a vacuum was created with a residual pressure of about 10 Pa. Soldering was carried out at a temperature of (610 ± 5) ° С, the exposure time at the soldering temperature was 5-7 minutes. The cooling of the obtained product was carried out together with the furnace.
After soldering, the samples were tested for tightness by crimping under a pressure of 6 atm. As a result of testing, leaks were not detected on any of the samples. A metallographic examination of one of the samples showed a high-quality formation of a soldered seam and the formation of smooth fillets. Defects such as nepropai were not found in the studied areas of the soldered joint.
